Behold the Miss Bayelsa Queen 2019, Miss Tamarabrakemi Tonwerigha.

19-years-old Sagbama indigent was crowned Miss Bayelsa 2019 which was keenly contested by other brilliant and beautiful girls.

The event held in Yenagoa, the capital city of Bayelsa State at the Teriels Event Centre was a night to remember in the history of the Miss Bayelsa Foundation.

Tamara contested alongside other contestants but her performance made the final night memorable with her distinct and classic show of brilliance.

Miss Bayelsa 2019 held alongside Bayelsa Merit Awards, BAMA 2018 was lots of fun as contestants paraded in their colourful and dizzling costumes and cat-walking steps to the admiration of guests, family, friends and well-wishers.

The overwhelmed audience had a lot of high moments cheering the beauty girls during the night.

Miss Tonwerigha Tamarabrakemi was was Miss Nollywood Culture & Tourism 2018 and a student of African University, Toru-Orua, Sagbama.

It will be recalled that Queen Freda Fred her predecessor performed very well during her reign as Miss Bayelsa 2017/18 touched lives in divert ways.

This is hoping that Miss Tonwerigha Tamarabrakemi will continue with the good legacies of her predecessor.

The programme was attended by lawmakers in the state, businessmen, politicians, media personalities and other calibers.

Barr. Austin Adigio esq. Meets with Bayelsa State Students Management Committee, Reaffirms Government commitment to Education.

On the 18th of December 2018 , the Special Adviser to the Bayelsa State Government on Student Affairs(Barr.Austine Adigio)  met with Members of the Bayelsa State Students management Committee to strategies  on bringing the Government and it's Policies closer to the Students Community. The Special Adviser commended the Committee on their pro activeness to  Student matters and further encouraged them to continue engaging students and communicate Government Educational policies and programs to them.

The Special Adviser also Thanked the Student Community in their peaceful disposition in reacting to Government Policies and their nonviolent but intellectual approach in agitating for their welfare and we understand the fact that “Students must Yarn ”and congratulated them for having a new befitting Secretariat for their administrative Activities and that Government is ready and will always support Student activities at all times and in due time other demands that they have made will be met too, not forgetting the role they played in ensuring a befitting burial for the mother of his Excellency.

He further urged the students’ community to continuously support PDP at all levels in the forth coming elections ,stating that the PDP presents a better alternative for the youths of this country.

Speaking on behalf of the Committee Hon. Atti J Moses the Special Assistant to the Bayelsa State Governor on Student affairs thanked his Excellency for reinstating the Special Adviser who resigned to contest the National Assembly Elections to represent Nembe/Brass Federal Constituency, he also briefed the Special adviser on the recent happening in the Students Community and further proposed an interactive session between top Government functionaries and Student organization and leaders.

Hon. Eteli highlighted some cardinal demands of students   unions,the achievements of Government and their Appreciation,and means of meeting with more demands from the Student community.

Hon. Success representing Sagbama LGA Commended the Hon. Commissioner for education for the fatherly role he has being playing  In resolving student crises and always guiding the SMC in the Absence of a Chairman and a Special Adviser especially during the Party Primaries.

Hon. Austin Adigio further reaffirm Government Commitment to Students welfare and the education of our Youths at all levels and he encouraged Parents and guidance to take advantage of the free educational Policies of the Government from Primary to secondary level especially the various Government Boarding Schools.

ENCOMIUMS POUR OUT FOR CHIEF CHINEDU ARTHUR AS BAYELSA, OTHER CHAPTER COORDINATORS, WOMAN LEADER AND YOUTH LEADERS  OF NIAN FOR ATIKU/OBI ARE INAUGURATED.

Encomiums poured out today for Chief Chinedu Arthur, The Bayelsa State Chapter Coordinator of the Non indigene Association of Nigeria for Atiku/Obi as the state chapter alongside other state coordinators, woman leader and youth leaders were inaugurated today Abuja.

Chinedu Arthur, who doubles as the National Youth Leader was giving a pat on the back for his active role in mobilizing youths in the oil rich state  - Bayelsa.

The successful inauguration of the various state chapter coordinators of the organization in Atiku Campaign office signals an aggressive grassroots campaign for Atiku/Obi.

The Bayelsa state Coordinator said the inauguration is a moral boosting one that if he is going back to Bayelsa state to inaugurate his people, that he will increase his working strength noting that Bayelsa is 100% for Atiku.

Chinedu explained that the Non indigenes has the voting strength to deliver any candidate at all levels in any election.

In his words, "In any election, the non-indigenes have the capacity to deliver any candidate that they support and the candidate must win any election", he boasted.

While still speaking to Nolly  TV Africa reporter Mr Barakumo Solomon Odede, Chinedu Arthur displayed his PVC to show everyone, how  serious it is to vote Atiku in the forth coming elections.

He, however, use the opportunity to urge every member to go and collect their PVC that it is the only power to vote out APC and vote in the man who will salvage Nigeria.

Chief Chinedu Arthur who is one of the Capacity leaders with so much extra ordinary leadership style was appreciated by the National working committee of the Atiku Campaign Organization for the role he has played in galvanizing the Grassroot for the incoming president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Interestingly, the Non Indigene Association is one of the largest Campaign Organization that has its presence in every LGA, wards, and villages in the country.
The various state chapter Coordinators will in return inaugurate their state Chapters with certificates presented to them for effective mobilization and Galvanization

Miss Tamarabrakemi Tonwerigha, the current Miss Nollywood Cuture & Tourism
Nigeria was caught with surprise over the week as the Miss Nollywood
Organization presented an  official car to her in Yenagoa, capital of
Bayelsa State.

Miss Tamara was one of the 5 Beauty Queens crowned in Asaba, Delta State,
Nigeria during the contest on  March 18, 2018.

The event which is one of the most prestigious beauty pageant in Nigeria
aimed at encouraging young girls from all works of life was graced by
popular and renowned Nollywood filmmakers across the nation and abroad,
businessmen and politicians.

Speaking during the presentation in Yenagoa, Comrade Barakumo Solomon
Odede, the CEO, BK Global Movies, President, Miss Nollywood Organization &
Nollywood Honour Awards, said the organization will continue to support
creative and brilliant young girls across the country in other to
contribute to the development of society.

Miss Tamara is a 200-level Linguistic student in University of Africa,
Toru-Orua, Sagbama, Bayelsa State.

The queen since her coronation has carried out several humanitarian
activities and projects geared towards ameliorating the sufferings of the
less privileged in society and the elderly.

She has visited some elderly persons with gift, cash and food items
provided by the organization.

Queen Tamarabrakemi who has flare for fashion designing also visited some
Orphanage homes in Bayelsa State.

Notably she loves singing and baking snacks at her leisure time with an
high aspirations in the pursuit of her vision in the beauty pageant
industry beyond the Miss Nollywood platform, which serves as a springboard
for her.

She thanked members of the organization for bringing her to the limelight.

In her words, she said; ''Miss Nollywood Pageant has being a big stepping
stone for me, and am so grateful to the organization, and to my boss,
Comrade Barakumo Odede for the opportunity availed me. I am a Bayelsan and
I intend to showcase the light of Ijaw Nation to the rest of the world'.

'I will be contesting for the prestigious Miss Bayelsa Pageant and when I
am crowned as Miss Bayelsa, it will  give me more opportunities to
showcase our cultural heritages,  values and traditions to the outside
world', she concluded.

Miss Tamarabrakemi Tonwerigha who is 19 years old believes that reaching
out to the elderly and the less privilege in the society should be the
focus of every beauty queen.

Mass Defection looms Yenagoa constituency two as Pastor Esther Martins Saiyou Engages APC Youths in the area.

As part of efforts to gain support for the People's Democratic Party, PDP flag bearers in Bayelsa State and its Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubukar ahead of the 2019 general elections, a former House of Assembly aspirant, Pst Esther Martins Seiyou engages youths of All Progressive Congress, APC in Gbarain/Ekpetiama clan to save Nigeria with their voter's cards.

Pst Esther Martins Seiyou who met with over 150 youth leaders representing the various communities in the kingdom who are card carrying APC members told Nolly Tv Africa reporter in Yenagoa that it is part of the PDP's strategy to get more votes for all its candidates in the forthcoming elections.

She expressed anger, regret and displeasure over the poor performances of the ruling party at the centre adding that the APC has brought more hunger in the land.

The woman leader, therefore assured Bayelsans and PDP candidates that there  will be a mass defection from APC to PDP soon in Yenagoa Constituency two even if it will take the last in her.

The former aspirant  assured  the youths of Constituency two that with a PDP government, Nigeria will be great again and prosperity will return to the land.

Esther called on the youths to cross over to the PDP for a better representation in 2019 while encouraging them to spread the news to other APC members in other to get more youths and she is expecting over 400 youths to defect.

The lioness told them that if they love her leadership style, it means they should join her to deliver all PDP candidates in unity in the kingdom from National to state.

The overwhelmed youths promised to consider her proposal and will give her a favourable answer in the coming days. The youths said her leadership style is uncommon noting that she is campaigning for candidates that stood against her at the party primaries.

They thanked her for the visit despite not being a candidate contesting any election.

Representatives of  the 12 communities in the kingdom were in attendance.
