Totally, Absolutely and a Really, Really Bloody waste of precious time but unfortunately for some of us who intend to go into public service, we MUST go through with it except u want the Obanikoro scenario(though u can get away wit all sorts in Naija). So peeps, hold your heads up high and go serve your motherland by wastin 1 year of your precious life. Great orientation period though.

i insist that in Nigeria context. it's more about who you know than what you know
and it does appear to me that , companies deliberately patronise these so called consultant for two reasons

1. to keep them in job
2. to identify with their brands ( an obscure company requesting the services of PWC for instance more often than not is trying to gain some reputation on the back of an establshed brand PWC)
3. at times CEOs have a lot to gain materially from employing the services of a consultants.

i stand by these points 100% having worked for a consulting company and a bank at different times.
