this one too wants to go and starve? Is alright.

It's always good when you think with your brain before commenting. Do you think is everyone going to Ouagadougou that want to go and starve. Arindin.

Some of us just want Nigerians residing in the country for proper briefing.

Next time use your brain before jumping into comments.

Do you mean extending your biometric validity by doing the biometric again or changing your biometric appointment with VAC? Yes, if it is the former and no if it is the latter.

Okay. Thank you

Payment is once, you don't pay IRCC twice for biometrics. Your booking date doesn't affect your payment.

Merci boss

Derende:
Good day everyone, I will be using this thread to carefully narrate my 30 days sojourn from Cotonou to the city of Dubai to enable those that are yet to make the trip or are already on their way to learn a lot from my terrible experience and the breakthrough of overcoming all odds to finally travel into Dubai.

During my write-up my audience will know all the secrets surrounding the journey and the way agents frustrated alot of Nigerians who travelled through same road. It is a true life experience filled with tears, frustrations and a bit of happiness sandwiched in between. Let me not bore you with long talks just relax as I take you on a journey I kicked off from Benin city, Nigeria on the 12th of April 2021 that culminated into a 30 days trip.

P.s: kindly note that during the course of my experience in Cotonou there are some discussion I won't be able to dwell much on due to violating any of the nairaland rules, and also mind some of the typographical errors and just decode the message am giving out.

Xup bro. Please what's the name of the 2 hotel you stay in cotonou. And which area is the hotel.

Gatess:
thanks to everyone who has contributed positively on this thread. we love u guys and we appreciate your good work.

Severally it was mentioned that Abidjan is expensive, come prepared. so my question is, u mean if u don't have above 500k-1m, no need going to Abijan. I guess there are few people who went there with little or no cash, so how did u guys survive. there should be some secrets that are not revealed that we need to know.

Actually I am considering Gabon and Ivory coast but seems I am scared of ivory coast based what I have read so far. meanwhile I plan coming over with just 400k. So for some of us who have been to these two countries I mentioned above, what is your advice for me? I want to go straight into biz and I have little knowledge of French language.

Moreover I intend leaving here between now and 20th of November.

thanks for your contributions. God bless u all

Abidjan is more easier to settle than Gabon. For Gabon you need to secure your Visa before leaving Nigeria else na straight deportation. Gabon is more expensive compare to Abidjan. My 2 cent

Bright1995:
Boeing 747 popularly known as Queen of the Skies is about to disappear from the sky. Possibly because of its expensive nature to maintain.

Its a pity Boeing 747 has not been in Nigeria for like 12 years now. Although am not sure about that fact.
But the main thing that bothers is that Nigeria is still yet to have a national carrier.

If you love traveling definetly you will love 747
From the days of President Roosevelt till Trump’s administration, Boeing airplanes have transported U.S. presidents around the world

Read more facts about Boeing 747

Do you even travel at all. Do you have any knowledge in aviation at all. Google max airline. Check their fleets and update your write up

…….

11. The bank finally sent the documents funlord was requesting before he refunds. (letter of account closure). they sent my cheques containing the remaining funds in my account AND PROVIDED A PHONE NUMBER THAT THE SENDER OF THE $3,000 MUST CALL TO CLAIM THE MONEY FROM THE HOLD ACCOUNT.

12. Its been 4 weeks since the number has been provided. and funlord’s contacted had given every excuse to not call the number .

13. after 3 weeks of waiting for funlord’s sender to make a simple phone call i finally call the number and it was picked and a customer care tried to help. after a while i called again and the same thing happened (i have a recorded evidence to this effect)

14. at this point anyone reading this should know funlord’s sender does not exist and all the excuses were just a time wasting technique

15. my contact in the states tried to call this funlord’s sender so they can both fix a date to go to the bank and settle this. we have called and sent multiple text messages and this person has never responded. only voicemail messages (i have record proof of this and i can provide her number and guarantee she will never pick)

16. with a little research, I REALIZE THIS SENDER WE’VE BEEN TRYING TO CALL IS DEAD TOO.

17. long story short, THE MONEY CAME FROM THE ACCOUNT OF A DEAD PERSON AND WAS RELEASED BY ANOTHER DEAD PERSON.

this is over 3 months now. i am bringing this here so this fellow doesn’t scam another person. his name should be on the scam list. i planned to settle it out of nairaland but i will be selfish if i don’t share this info to future victims.

i want the moderators to ask funlord to tell his sender to claim the money. at this stage, my account has been closed and i don’t know if the money has been claimed by his fraudulent identity thieves. If he cannot do this or refund my money, the moderators should please do something about him.
