Pavore9:

lt ain't cheap sending things down to Nigeria via courier unless one has someone travelling to Nigeria, the person travels with it. Are you into hydroponics?

Yes i am into hydroponics. I am not based in africa though but i intend to start it in Nigeria and i already have a blueprint for it, i am trying to figure out my cheapest option of getting nutrients if not will have to use fish poo.

How much does it cost to send from kenya to nigeria? without having someone to bring it.

Politics / Re: 2015 Election: Northern Leaders Express Concerns Over Buhari’s Health by bolayei: 8:17am On Jan 11, 2015
Northerners are the smartest nigerians there is take it from me a southerner, growing up in the 80s in lagos you cant but mix up with other tribes and i tell you now the hausa/fulani kids i knew then in lagos were very clever, gate men are also clever if you get off your high house and try to understand his accent when he speaks.

No civilian northerner have finished his term from Tafawa balewa to shagari to yar adua. i wonder if nigeria would have been the way it is now there actually did finish their terms.

Hausa/Fulani people are very humble and generous and hard working having these trait means they are not really thieves, but like they say in every 12 there is a judas so i am not saying they are all saints.

The english chose not to educate them with western culture for a reason and allowed them to keep their culture knowing how clever the hausa/fulani/kanuri people are and remember at one point there were the food basket of the nation thats why they were important back then and the English does not do anything that does not favor them.

Other nigerians always look down on hausa/fulani calling them aboki or mallam(not the literal meaning)to belittle them.

In a free and fair election northerners will always win no matter what.

Apart from oil what else can the south bring forth and compare to the minerals, livestocks and agric produce in the north.

If you dont want to be ruled by northerners just have a sit down and split the country.

Imagine sanusi and fashola ruling the country and an easterner probably from diaspora as finance minister...mad combi i think but will never happen as sanusi is in a better place now.

My fellow ijaw man has failed big time una get luck, if i was jona.., as 2014 reach na end of experiment, na lab report for be next thing and the result no hard to get as we can all see. I would split the country to what it was, give the egbas their independence that was taken in 1914, igbos their kingdoms or whatever structure they think is okay...infact everyone that speaks one language will be independent but at the same time be united jus like you have the eu and usa.

Nigerians learn your history

Health / Re: Lagos Ebola Volunteers Threaten Strike Over Lack Of Payment by bolayei: 10:02am On Sep 07, 2014
obailala:
Education in nigeria is nothing to talk about... i can tell u studied outside nigeria.

Where is the education of my people?... Must every word be read literally?

A volunteer is someone who willingly offers himself/herself to perform a task which others would rather not want to be involved in... That does not mean the person should not be paid especially when the person volunteered for a paid job. I work from Mondays to Fridays but sometimes my boss requests for 'volunteers' to work on weekends. If I volunteer to work on a weekend, I would be paid at a higher rate than what I earn normally.

Now with regards the ebola volunteers, no health worker would wish to go close to the ebola treatment centres especially due to the way health workers seem to have been majority of the victims in Nigeria and also because of the shabby way in which the government treats the victims.. For this reason, there has to be an enticing benefit package for whoever volunteers to work in these centres... I wonder why this simple logic is too difficult for supposedly enlightened Nigerians to understand... Even with the package promised by the government, only a few health workers still came forward and now it is alleged that the government is defaulting in its promises..

Instead of discussing the diabolic actions of the government or whoever is responsible for paying their entitlements, Nigerians who should be worried are here debating the meaning of the word 'volunteer
' undecided

Hello mate, please reconsider your offer, most business men/women will make 20% within a month if they invest 5 million, i.e, 1 million a month and you are offering 1.5 million in 3 years. E.g if i invest 5 million in say cat fish farming, i will make 1.5 million when the fishes grow to size, you get my drift?

Politics / Re: Nigeria's 121 Million Mobile Phone Subscribers Live On $1 A Day? by bolayei: 1:04am On Nov 30, 2013
1 dollar a day ko one dollar a day ni....ask most so called poor people with something to do to honestly tell u how much they get doing what they do daily and hear what they tell u. in england 10 pounds a day na im dem expect person to leave on at the minimum but that na living in poverty, yes 10 pounds a day is poverty in england. Now convert that to naira, you get like 2k5 naira which i believe is enough for an average nigerian and that average nigerian will live above poverty level. so i dont get the yard stick wey dem use measure the 1$ a day rubbish.

Properties / Re: Lagos Sealed Our House Over Land Use Charge by bolayei: 8:09am On Nov 22, 2013
Na wa o o, this thing is easy to sort out but there might be a twist to it. You said you have not seen the landlord but you must have seen the agent? why not go to him and complain to him, i'm sure you paid admin or agent fee or whatever or better still go to lagos state government and explain the problem to them i am sure they will understand and give you concession.

But go with the 1.5m i am sure your folks can raise it and pay it and have it documented properly do not try and bribe anybody(dat rubbish must stop), pay it and if you decide to buy the house deduct it from whatever the cost will be.

Talking about bills, you sef talk am na say e fine, fine comes with a price. Lets just say the charge na wetin we dey call council tax here, the least anybody dey pay here na from £800 per annum, so if the whole naija wan be like vgc them get to ready pay the bills, see me so if i go back home na country side i dey go chuck myself no time, if i wan live the life of bills i go just remain here.
