He wasnt a popular governor. He was a vindictive visionless (if thats even a word) less than smart leader.Thats why he lost is second term bid.Imagine if he had been had the top of his game.it would have been difficult to sweep him aside like second hand slippers

Obi1kenobi:
Seems the author thinks Alimosho is the only local government in Lagos by which we should judge Ambode. Those of us that reside, work or do business along the Amuwo-Odofin to Ojo to Badagry axis don't know there is anything like a state government. I can't drive out of my area in Satellite Town anymore due to the tanker and trailer traffic, plus the horrid road network. Progressive deterioration and abandoned projects all along the Lagos-Badagry expressway that has brought so much hardship and suffering to those that ply that route: projects that Ambode inherited and rather than complete, chose to be commissioning bus-stops everywhere, building new flyovers and building god-knows-what in Oshodi. What surprises me is this is supposed to be a strategic route which runs through several communities, is an interstate road and also an international road. Anyone resident in these areas that casts one single vote for him are buffoons basically. Because he doesn't even know we exist.

Took the words right out of my mouth .Living in satellite is hell.

When is it time to for ambode to increase land use charge levys etc he will it spread round.But when it comes to infastructure He will face Ajah,lekki and
epe.

Politics / Re: Whose First Term Was Better; Ambode Or Fashola? by bookworm: 8:45am On Sep 11, 2018
Fashola was wayyy better than Ambode

In my opinion Ambode might have good ideas but he doesnt have the guts the int
elligence or the attitude it takes to execute.

He took us back 18 years.....

No one is disputing that dirt is not an issue in lagos, we have seen several times how they have tried tackled it but failed, no person, administration, country is perfect, there will always be an issue, u wouldnt like it if people only see the bad side of u, n neglect the good, praise pple for d good n criticize for the bad not condemn them for the bad.

You took the words outta my mouth

quote author=Realdeals post=66802677]Ambode is a failure, Fashola achievements far outshines his own.
For those quoting me, I will only give you the Ambode parable. His current achievements which you all are celebrating is likened to a science student who wrote 9 subjects for SSCE and scored A & B in Chemistry and physics but had E's in the remaining 7 subjects, abeg which University will admit such student. That exactly is the case with Ambode.
Tell me any other outstanding achievement of Ambode aside gigantic road projects, which are used to siphon money. What are his major stride in the following
* Health
* Sports
* Road maintenance
* Education
* Waste management
* Water supply
Even most of the roads constructions are under the supervision of his office and not the ministry of infrastructure.
I don't need to remind anyone that Fashola performed excellently well in all these areas mentioned. Where are the LSPWC gangs that fixed bad roads? I rest my submission. [/quote]
