Phones / Imate Jasjar Connection To Internet by Bosunojay: 10:17pm On Mar 04, 2009
sadWill somebody please rescue me. I have this IMATE JASJAR phone and I am connected to Zain. I have been trying to access the internet facilities with Zain but with no success despite configuring the phone through 'dmc.ng.zain.com' I keep getting this error message "Cannot connect for an unknown reason. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap Settings. If the problem continues, reset your mobile device according to your manufacturer's documentation and try again" I have tried the above over and over again with no success. Please note that I am able to browse using the device at hotspots and whenever it is synchronised to my laptop. Thanks. Bosunojay
Phones / Re: Zain Mobile Internet by Bosunojay: 7:45pm On Mar 03, 2009
Not a baseless assumption. I use the Zain E220 modem outside Lagos and Abuja so my statement not "assumption" is based on practice not TV advert.
Phones / Re: Zain Mobile Internet by Bosunojay: 6:08am On Mar 03, 2009
I don't know about that speed but just try getting connected first before u talk of speed. The mobile internet modem connects at 53.6 kilobytes per second so where is that speed. Take note that Zain has deployed 2G equipment and can only achieve the speed you refer to in their imagination for now. Another thing is to be careful if you want to have wap connection. Zain has not resolved if to be addressed as Zain or Celtel in their Access Point Name. Talk of a confused organisation!
Phones / Imate Jas Jar Cant Connect On Mtn by Bosunojay: 9:55am On Feb 25, 2009
Help please. I cannot get my IMATE JASJAR to browse despite configuring it as directed by the instructions. I have an MTN SIM duly activated for GPRS connection I get error messages as 'this page cannot be displayed or downloaded because the connection was lost etc'' or "temporary conditions currently prevent connecting to the pocket MSN service"
Religion / Worshipping In Our Churches by Bosunojay: 8:59am On Jan 24, 2009
:When I was young going to church was a very solemn affair. You were not allowed to make any form of noise within the perimeter of the church which was seen as a hallowed ground. I have also been privileged to visit Rome and Jerusalem and no form of unnecessary shouting is allowed. The only time this tradition is breached is when Nigerian Pilgrims arrive at such places of worship. Obviously people from other culture frown at this invasion of the serene atmosphere. What is more puzzling is that denominations such as the Catholic, Anglican and the Methodist in Nigeria have joined in this practice of shouting at God. The following are questions that I am seeking answers to from members: a. Are prayers best answered when you shout, command or compel God?; b. When you are requesting anything from your earthly father or mother do you shout at them.;c. Could it be that God will not understand our requests unless we present such in very rowdy atmosphere?. I am not averse to being labelled as belonging to the old school but I want answers to the questions please and not criticisms. angry
