Programming / Re: FG Pays N81.7bn On Customs Software by brownciga: 1:56pm On Mar 19, 2013 |
B4 the coming of webb fontaine into Nigeria, all the Nigeria custom transactions were done manually, thereby leaving room to custom officers to siphon money. They only remit anything they feel like to the Nigerian Government. In the year 2006, FGN decided to bring in webb fontaine to develop a single platform for general custom transaction.Part of the agreement that was reached with FGN,was that they webb fontaine will collect 0.6% of wat Nigeria custom generates monthly. I challenge those custom officers propagating these rumors to come out and tell Nigerians, how much they were making b4 webb fontaine came in? and how much has FGN realized from this contract? since webb fontaine came in Nigeria custom has always been surpassing it targets,if anybody doubt me, the fact is always there to check. The job of webb fontaine is not only to provide software, but also technical support, maintenance e.t.c Pls, we should not allow all these paid journalists to start fooling Nigerians, just because they Nigeria custom want to go back to there manual ways. 3 Likes |
Career / Re: Airtel Agrees To Recall 3,000 Sacked Workers by brownciga: 3:03pm On Oct 11, 2011 |
@ erk bear, u dissapointed me with ur comment. Airtel made $17Bn as profit last year and almost 50% of it from Nigeria. Pls, tell me wat was there reason for sacking those workers. They decided to consent to Nigerian government directive because they know they need us more than we need them. Please comment wisely. |

I dont knw why we nigerians are so blindly religious. I can also predict what this thief had predicted. I vehemently agree with tudor anytime and anyday. It is high time we stopped allowing the criminals to stop deceiving us. |

Politics / Re: Libya Executes Nigerians, Other Nationals by brownciga: 11:00am On Jun 03, 2010 |
waladis, u talk about some nigerians living abroad being beggars but have u notice how many nigerians that are beggars in their own land. go to the north, south of nigeria, they are everywhere. someone like philip emeagwali,we tell u if not for america he would not have discovered his talent. go to countries like poland, sweden, norway, denmark, finland e.t.c you have free health care be u a citizen or not,as long as u pay tax but in nigeria can u get a free health care despite all the taxes. i dont encourage travelling illegally. some european countries give thier citizens and non citizens free education but these countries are not as rich as nigeria in terms of G.D.P but they appreciate there citizens. barrack obama earns 60million naira yearly while people like bankole earns 300million naira despite the unemployment in nigeria. as far as i am concern Nigeria has nothing to offer its citizens. |

i laugh when people in this forum talk about ' HOME IS BEST". these people lack knowledge about this country, many graduates in this country now wonder about without hope of getting a job. a friend of mine travel to poland last year after 2years of searching for job, but he can tell you boldly now that he sees a better future for himself, dis is someone who has lost hope b4 travelling out of this country, he now work as well as doing his master program. Travelling out of nigeria may not make u rich but it will give u better oppurtunity than wat we experience in this country. pls while we try to be patriotic , we should also be realistic. |

Politics / Re: Is Baba Adeboye Too Quiet On Political Issues? by brownciga: 11:20am On Apr 28, 2010 |
all these men that call themselves men of God are mostly frustrated thieves. they invites all these politicians to their churches and make them deacons and deaconess. they collect money from the masses to build schools and still their schools are most expensive. they tend to denial social live from thier students making it difficult for them to interract with thier mates outside. what are they really teaching us in this country. to me they have not added any positive impact to this country. so what adeboye or the other pastor say does not matter. |

Politics / Re: Don’t Contest In 2011 Election, Rather Settle For Vice - Obasanjo Tells Jonathan by brownciga: 3:44pm On Apr 27, 2010 |
our major problem in this country is mostly from the north. i know some may dispute this but believe me , if the crude oil is from the north they can never allow the south to manage the country. but they still act as if they feed we southerners despite our oil and use it to build the north. this is crazy. |
