Politics / Middle Belt Of Nigeria Unveils Own Currency Note by brownskindude: 2:50pm On Jun 02, 2016 |
Just few days after the Niger Delta militants unveiled their currency note, Middle Belt of Nigeria also released own currency note. Major Gideon Gwaza Orkar appeared on the new banknote. He was a Nigerian army officer who staged a violent coup against the government of General Ibrahim Babangida in 1990. https://www.naij.com/847909-shocking-nigeria-break-imminent-middle-belt-unveils-currency-photo.html?source=index_trending

Politics / Re: The Niger Delta Avengers: Nigeria's Newest Militants - BBC by brownskindude: 5:48am On Jun 02, 2016 |
All these could have been avoided if your cattle rearer of a president wasn't busy making stupid remarks. This country really needs to renegotiate its sovereignty. How can oil from South South be used to develop Lagos and Abuja at the expense of the original owners of the oil? How can a company be drilling oil in South South but having regional and head offices at Lagos and Abuja? We are tired of this injustice. We might come from a Minority region but our contributions to the economic development of Nigeria has been Major. I am a South Southerner and oil is my birthright. 146 Likes 12 Shares |

NDA are freedom fighters trying to liberate us in the South South region of Nigeria from the claws of the illiterate and parasitic North and from their coward and self-centred Yoruba counterparts. 1 Like |

I knew the Nigerian army where lying. They can't match those militants power for power or strength for strength. Their drills are far tougher than that of the Nigerian army. I'm currently at Ogunu in Warri and I can tell you no level for the military. 73 Likes 8 Shares |

Politics / Re: New Delta Suicide Squad NDSS Emerges, Issues 7Day Ultimatum To Private Oil Firms by brownskindude: 1:12pm On May 31, 2016 |
This is getting serious everyday. PMB cannot use force to achieve results but rather a more diplomatic approach is required here. Most of the world today are battling or were battling with secessinoist threats. China, Canada, Sudan, Mali, Turkey, Colombia, Spain etc are currently or once had their own fair share of secessionist threats. PMB should use the Canadian approach in solving the clamour of secession from the South East and presently South South region. The English Canadians realized how important the French Canadians were and called for a roundtable discussion that killed the clamour of secession from the French Canadians. 2 Likes |

I thought they had two heads. They should have waited. How can oil be drilled in South South but regional and head offices are in Lagos and Abuja? Is it fair? Even when Groundnut and Cocoa was the mainstay of the economy, didn't the Hausas/Fulanis and Yorubas control their resources? Why should that of an Edo, Urhobo, Itsekiri or an Ijaw be any different? I'm not happy with the recent happenings currently taking place but let the truth be told for once, the hausas/fulanis and yorubas have contributed little or nothing to the economy but have taken more. Oil is our birthright and we are not going to wait for it to be given to us. **** 181 Likes 21 Shares |

I'm sick and tired of my fellow Deltan youths always taking out their anger on multinational companies and oil installations. Tompolo used to be a man I respected but I can't believe this guy will stoop so low as to allow his boys to destroy what God has blessed us with. This is uncalled for and also reeks of irresponsibility on his part. I can't judge cos I don't know who's really responsible for this silly act but whoever it is should remove our lands from his scheme. Warri and Itsekiris at large have been living in peace for years alongside the Urhobos, Ijaws and our Bini neighbours for years without any trouble and we are happy the way we are. Tompolo or whoever it is that is currently bombing or blowing up oil installation or pipelines should henceforth desist from anything that would bring trouble to those of us living in Warri and its environs. Whom do these criminals think they're punishing? It's the average Warri indigenes that would suffer cos our lands would be polluted. A word they say is enough for the wise. Tompolo or whoever it is should not provoke the Itsekiris. Let's not forget that the Ijaw/itsekiri war is still fresh in our lands when they tried to encroach on Ubeji. It's an experience no one wants to remember. From: Tuoyo Emiko Okorodudu |
