@project: lagerwhenindoubt has made a good submission on the issue! I always like to invoke the words of Professor Nnolim: "Just tidy up your own little corner". And as someone rightly said avoid situations where you have to pay a bribe. Finders fees, commissions, don't come under the table, you get it as a right, declare it as an income and pay the stipulated TAX! The journey is a long and tedious one and we must be prepared to make the sacrifice for a better Nigeria. |

@Rooneyboy, you are still a boy! Your comment "Na their time , make them enjoy," to say the least is disgusting. Enjoy what? Our commonwealth? In God's name dissociate yourself from thieves and where to start this fight is from your goodself, and that is to purge you of your ignorance. |

I am amazed at the reactions of people to this sordid event. The fact that bribery and graft has persisted among public officers even before Independence does not warrant the nonchalance of Nigerians or justifies the act of corruption. In Australia where this scandal originated, the Police are investigating the various people concerned and one official of the currency company has already thrown in the towel. These are the things to trigger our thinking on how to fight the monster called corruption. Has it ever occurred to any of you that citizens play a vital role in this fight? Don't just sit there and make very unintelligent contribution to a grave problem. |
Business / Re: Atuche Refuses To Resign As BankPHB CEO by Bugi: 3:50pm On Oct 03, 2009 |
Is Lamido Sanusi Lamido still pursing the Northern hidden agenda? These bank Managers clearly breached the law and they must pay for it. The board of the bank must be shameless to contemplate the appointment of a new helmsman that can work with the apex bank CBN. The CBN will fire the board anyway, no matter what belated crass arrangement the board adopts. |
Politics / Re: The Nigerian Bar Association And Aondoakaa by Bugi: 3:36pm On Oct 03, 2009 |
The President of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) spoke in his personal capacity at those events. The NBA has an ethics committee/segment that should look into the activities of the AGF. Should we believe the NBA is maintaining a consented silence or a tacit approval of his numerous ignoble deeds? |
