Bcuz it is cheaper to create n launch a new bep-20 token with the application of binance smartchain and get it listed on pancakeswap, pancakeswap is a dex product or a liquidity pool designed with binance bsc itself hence; the extremely low charges, and network fees to swap on different tokens is extremely low compared to other Dex like; uniswap that recognises n adopted Ethereum tokens as its main currency so that when one wants to buy or swap any erc-20 token listed on uniswap Dex exchange, you would have no other way than to pay some ETH as gas fees, which is practically way over the roof...
Personally, I find tokens currently listed on uniswap Dex as bulletproof investment into the foreseeable future. Yeah, it's a sure fact that one can really strike gold should a token holder on uniswap finally started to see his token like amk tokens for example; finding their new homes on other CEX exchanges like; binance, kucoin, gate, hotbit, okex and to mention but a few. How? let say you buy some amk tokens worth $10 for 1000 amk tokens. And you have just paid $20 in ethererum as gas fee just to send your $10 worth of ETH to connect your uniswap app to your etherum wallet of which you can be able to use it to swap with any other tokens listed on the platform and still pay again another network fees in ETH. Seeing all the trouble one has to go through just for buying some amk tokens! Is bloody enough reason to just hold your peace and stay put until your amk tokens start seeing the light of the day on its meteoric rise to catching several all-time highs. But hell no! You can't play the indefinite long waiting game and you want out abruptly. and then you just wake up one morning and decide to swap back to ETH and once again incurring more expenditures in terms of network fees for every fvcking move you make or decision you take while fooling around on the uniswap Dex exchange. However, you can trade almost any ERC-20 token on the Uniswap app, your Ethereum wallet from metamask or Trustwallet must hold ETH in order to execute a trade. This because all transactions on the Ethereum network must pay a gas fee to miners who perform the computation. The gas fee must be paid in ETH, hence you must hold enough ETH in your wallet to cover the cost of a Uniswap transaction.While on pancakeswap bep-20 tokens are in abundance with masses of holders waiting to dump their heavy coinbags on you before you go to bed probably, but there can still be a 50% possibility that you are going to make plenty money and don't tell me you will be cashing out on some freaky airdrops. Crypto devs are business-minded people and nothing is ever free.
The bottom-line is I would rather be on the look-out for the next big erc-20 token that would replicate the successful runs of shiba inu. Remember those that bought theirs somewhere around November 2020. Are cashing out millions already from shiba inu alone. If not for the high ETH gas fees I would have bought enough shiba when it first came to uniswap Dex exchange, before finding its way to other CEX exchanges, like hotbit,etc Like I always say, opportunity are endless in the crypto world. One just have to be prepared to take them head on, without any hesitation.
