Folks, the somali trolls on this forum have been banned from other somali forums because they play with people's emotions.
Some of them are immature, some are just miserable people with a lot of time on their hands.
The best way to deal with these pest is to eliminate them or delete their content.

We shouldnt bow down to this northern's foot soldiers (Boko haram) the country belong to all of us. North and South.

I agree, Nigeria is best kept united. I disagree with your assertion that BH is somehow being used by the "North" to score brownie points considering the untold suffering it has brought upon the Northern tribes themselves. The biggest victims of Boko Haram have been other muslims, the burning of their villages, and destruction of life and property.
Given the challenge of Boko Haram, I believe Buhari is better suited to solve this problem than Jonathan. I have given my arguments for why above.

Is your household that need a general not Nigeria. Come back and stop fellowing Tinubu.

My argument is this
Fact 1-Nigeria's biggest challenge is Insecurity
Fact 2- This is chiefly caused by Boko Haram in the north who happen to be muslims
Fact 3-General Buhari happens to be from the North and is a muslim.

Nigerians should vote for him at this time because
A- He is a former General, a strong men who will not hesitate to give orders and the Army is more likely to follow those orders given his experience with the military
B-Being from the area where this rebellion is as well as being muslim, this will remove much legitimacy from BH who otherwise might have argued for their cause that Nigeria is christian led.

finally idk who or what Tinubu is.

Hello folks

I believe every challenge a nation faces requires stakeholders (voters, intellectuals, etc) to consider what options they have. No one will disagree at this point in time, Nigeria faces no greater challenge than the rebellion being waged by the group called BH. This is the biggest challenge because without security- misery, crime, and human suffering will increase.

Now you have to ask yourself what is Boko Haram, their motivation, and how have they been able to recruit and find men and power. I do not want this discussion to be too long given our time constraints but I will say Boko Haram is largely a religious ideologically minded group that has largely recruited from the Northern tribesman, a collectively conservative group of people who are largely nomads much like the some of the Somali tribes who support Alshabaab.

The difference here is that Nigerias military has a record of strong presence from the North. I believe this is an advantage which has badly been under utilized by Jonathan. In addition, Nigeria is a financial power house in Africa which can finance it's own military, largely independent, a situation that is diametrically opposite in Somalia. This political indepedence gives Nigeria much leverage in treating this as a Nigerian problem.

Nigeria needs the General at this time because it's facing a rebel group with an Islamic banner who have largely defeated the Nigerian army in the North. Much like clearing the swamp to eradicate insects, It would be much harder to convince the Northern tribes to fight the Nigerian military if one of their own is in power.

In times of rebellion, sedition, and insecurity, Nations require strong man with military background. Although this may seem like a step backwards, but at this moment in time, Nigeria needs a General in power to stamp the rebellion before it gets out of hand.

Lastly, I warn you folks, the moment the United states or the Europeans get involved, it will be like adding fuel to a burning house, and this will support the Narrative of christian European entity supporting Nigeria against a Muslim led rebellion. This will exacerbate the situation and only further increase the misery. I say Nigeria should use it's financial muscle to face this challenge head on without much European footprint.

Disclaimer: I am somali, I am aware of the situation with the trolls.
I joined this forum 1-To intervene anytime this trolls in the name of Somali, insult others,
2-To offer my input into some of the issues facing Nigerians that I feel I may have some insight into.
Politics / Re: Chad Army Vehicles Head For Cameroon To Fight Boko Haram by Caaqilka(m): 5:37am On Jan 17, 2015
Hi folks, I am long time observer of this forum grin and i would like to share my views on topics such as these which I feel I may have insight cool

Given the close relationship between France and Chad, a situation simplified by the absolute control of power by a single man, i would not be surprised if this move towards Cameroon, another former french colony, came at the "suggestion" of France with some financial incentives involved.

How can Nigerian win against BH, it's not a simple question, but the answer lies in who Boko Haram is.
