In terms of proof of fund, its usually more believable if its from a family member. So even me i find it hard to believe a friends wants to dash you such a sum.

I think its better through one of your parents den to you.

You will just include evidence of transfer from your parents. ( u can just print 3 days statement around that period if its not part of the days your statement will include or transfer receipt of the said inflow)

and gift deed
All the best

Hi guys,

I am trying to review my options for meeting the PoF requirements. A family friend wants to give me the said amount. So, should I get the money across to my dad or mom and have either transfer the funds into my account with supporting gift deed documentation OR will it be better to get the funds directly from the family friend and buy T-bills for 3-4 months? I don't want my family friend to issue me a gift deed. Other suggestions are also welcome.

Thank you.
