[quote author=ChizzyBuna post=109343687]I had a fling with one of my work friends. She lives 15 mins apart from my area We have been having sex for over a year She is a good friend.
Long story short, i was given promotion at work. My job is one of the hardest. I'm in charge of recurring new workers and im the one that submit the names of those who will be sacked. The M.D is my uncle and he trust me so much
Today i opened a file and saw this girls name on list of people to be sacked. I have to submit it and prepare their letters. I have defended her when my uncle wanted to sack her last year. If i defend her again, my uncle will suspect im having fling with her. He almost caught us kissing so he is suspicious If my uncle find out, he might sack me. He sees me as an angel and i want to keep that reputation. So i can become M.D
modified For those asking why they want to sack her Last year, during staff meeting. She kind of challenged a senior collegue's idea infront of everybody, the man was not having it. It caused a riff between them. Since then the man has been trying to sack her. Based on he is my uncles alley. I defended her privately to my uncle. They didnt sack her.. Last year my uncle annouced that he will be going to uk for hip surgery. His wife has taken over as of January. Maybe the wife has a hand in this. And i cant ask her why..
Both my uncle and wife are not on nairaland. So its safe to bring this topic here

jesusjnr2020: An Armed Robbery Experience I Had Moments After A Holy Ghost Church Service
It happened moments after i just returned from a church program, sometime in late 2003. It was most likely carried out by cultists, since it took place in a university campus hostel.
There were six of us (all guys) inside the room. Four of us, choir members, yet in high spirits having just returned from a Holy Ghost power-packed, Spirit-filled service on campus at about 10pm.
We were still trying to absorb everything that had transpired during the powerful service, while also getting set for bed, when out of nowhere, there came in the three guys with gun(s) and machete(s) into the room and one of them switched off the light, while using touch light to be flashing light on our faces carrying out the robbery.
But it was a strange kind of robbery, because after they were through, they had robbeod every one inside the room, except me.
And it wasn't as though it was a mistake or that they had forgotten to do so or were in a hurry, it seemed deliberate, because after asking everyone of us to lie down, they had stood us up one by one to rob us, from the first person to the fifth person.
But when it got to my turn, being the sixth and final person, after the guy came to me, and flashed the touch on my face, since it was dark, instead of telling me to stand up and go to show him my things as he had done to the other five persons before me, he just stood up and started walking sheepishly back to where his guys were to my amazement. It was as though he had seen something strange or an angel.
Moreover while yet lying down, i overheard him being asked by one of his guys, who I suppose was their leader, "what of that guy"? His response though was not loud, so I couldn't hear what he said was his reason for doing that, but it seemed to suffice to his fellow guys, as it wasn't long afterwards they left the room.
Probably even more puzzling, was the fact that my black traveling bag, was just about the first thing anyone else would spot in the place the robbers had taken most of the things from, such as, cash, a mobile phone, a perfume jar, a pair of shoes etc., which was the wardrobe.
And inside the side pocket of that bag which was the foremost and most exposed part of that bag, there was some considerable amount of cash. Therefore had they just stumbled on it and decided to open it just one of the times they went there with one of the other five persons to show them their stuff, they would have also robbed me of some cash, because that was the closest money or thing in the wardrobe for them to have made away with.
But for some reason they left all the cash intact and no single thing in my bag was missing, while the other things more difficult to access in that wardrobe were being made away with, apart from my other things without my bag there which they also didn't touch.
So this was not just about me not being stood up by them, because they could have also easily robbed me even without needing me to do that.
As I said earlier, four of us there of the six were all choir members of the same church, and we had just returned from a church service together. And while three of us were guests who came from other parts of the country for the annual church program held within the campus premises, the other one was a student of that school who happened to be our host.
But despite that, when the robbery took place, I was the only one of the four who was separated and treated differently from the rest by the armed robbers.
It was really shocking to say the least, but it wasn't completely surprising to me because it was obvious to me why that was.
Despite that we were all Christians, and some active church members, as those my fellow choir members, i was the only one among them that was really saved and truly of God among them, so that was what was separated me from the rest when it mattered.
God bless. Great but conclusion ain't it bro. The Bible says even our self acclaimed righteousness are like filthy rags before him ( Isaiah 64:4) It's not your righteousness that saves you but Grace of God. We thank God for your life |

Kingpele: Yes but with court order ,however try to talk to your boss concerning your salary, tell him that u will be thrown out any moment from now, and see what happens but try to plead with your landlord, don't paint your landlord black before the public, he have needs too,am presently working on how to send a tenant out of my property, she is owing more than six months and I suppose to use the money to offset my kids school fees but she keep on promising me for months now..the point is that landlords sometimes attached rents generated from their properties on things they needed to sort out, the more u delay the more it will affect their plans, the more u hide from him the more u are making him suspect you don't want to pay him God bless you Some tenants are more wicked than devil! Romance / Re: Help! I'm Emotionally Wrecked! by Ccdavies(m): 11:09am On Aug 12, 2019 |
Shadbay: I've been in extreme emotional pains for the past few months. I don't even know where to start to narrate my ordeal. I do not want this experience to damage me emotionally and psychologically, that's why I'm seeking help. Please pardon the length and blunders.
Earlier this year, just two weeks after my birthday, my ex-gf (gf of almost 7 years) broke up with me. I had just visited her and left two days prior to the breakup. I went through the most challenging period of my life because I just suffered some job and graduate school rejections that period. The breakup worsened my situation and pushed me into a depression. I have never felt defeated in life till that point. She blocked me on all mediums of communication. It was too extreme. I went from 91kg to 85 kg in less than 3 weeks.
I visited her to understand the whole situation cos her behaviour was too extreme and I got a toxic dosage of embarrassments. She said she was done with me. She said a lot of hurtful things to me. The height of the embarrassments was calling her new boyfriend (barely 3 weeks after breaking up with me) right in front of me and telling him she doesn't know what I'm doing in her place. She even called some of her friends to inform them of my presence. They all sounded scared and concerned for her as if I was some kind of predator. They told her to leave her place at once and come to their place. All these calls were on speaker! This is someone I invested all these years and emotions for. I went through hell that period cos I was dealing with some other personal tribulations.
I can't imagine treating her or anybody else the way she treated me. I NEVER cheated on her, NOT ONCE or by chance! I have walked away from compromising situation countless times because I placed her so high. I had so much respect for her. She now went on to slander my name, accusing me of cheating!!! When I asked who was feeding her all those lies, she said her friends told her. How? Did I date you or your friends? It still boggles my mind to think she'll believe them and go about spreading those ugly rumours about me.
The straw that broke the camels back was when a friend of mine told me that she said she's grateful to God she didn't contract any infection/disease from me! I couldn't believe my ears. I broke down. This didn't just break my heart, it shattered my spirit. This is someone I imagined spending the rest of my life with. My whole family (even extended) accepted her as one of us.
I had to accept that things were beyond salvaging because any attempt from me to fix things kept doing the opposite. The minute it involved my sisters I had to accept defeat.
I never harmed her or attempt to lay a finger on her. I might not be perfect but I gave it my all. The situation is far worse than I described it here, it's even painful remembering them. I loved her to a fault.
I got a text from her about a month ago after I refused to answer her calls because I had just lost a loved one. She said she's getting married and hopes I find peace as she has found hers. I stared at those words speechless. The worst set of people one could ever encounter are those that hurt you, know that they hurt you and still turn around to play victim accusing you of hurting them. If there's anything I'm proud of is my level of self-control. I know few of my friends who made fun of me being extremely loyal to one girl, warning me severally that I'm wasting my time and good looks, that my youth is passing me by. At least I have a clean conscience that I never betrayed her trust. I never went about telling other people our business. Now I understand why they say good guys always finish last.
Women don't deserve loyalty, forget all their cliche that men are not faithful and honest. I went the faithful, loyal path what did I get in return? Venom! I feel repulsed when I hear women say "Men are dogs", "Men always cheat".
I just don't want this experience to turn me into something I'm not or make me an embittered soul. I'm traumatized beyond words. This was my first and only relationship and I gave it everything. I'm in my mid-twenties and I don't think I can ever love genuinely again. I need mature advice on how to come out of this ordeal a better person. I don't want to transfer any aggressions or micro-aggressions on anybody because of this experience. Please mature advice needed. Thank you.
In as much I can relate CU's I ve bn there before but want you to know she is not worth dying for. 2 Its obvious you still want her back but the truth is that if you both get along just to help your emotions she is will be loving you out of pity. When love is on the bases of pity, it'll certainly fade away with time.. When that pity is no more. Being loved out of pity is a display of lack of self worth and it cant lead to marriage or successful lasting relationship. Move on CU's yiy deserve the best and know when a woman makes up her mind, she is done with u. Delete every trace of her, chat, pictures, make use of your life. Build on yourself and the better one for you will meet with you. God bless |

Politics / Re: Supreme Court Strikes Out Appeal By Rivers APC For Lack Of Merit by Ccdavies(m): 2:33pm On Apr 11, 2019 |
Groovenaija360: The Supreme Court of Nigeria on Thursday struck out the consolidated appeals of Rivers APC and Tonye Cole for lacking in merit.
Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Mohamed in a lead judgment sustained the preliminary objection by PDP Counsel, Emmanuel Ukala (SAN).
The Acting CJN said that: " the Preliminary Objection is meritorious, accordingly the Appeal is incompetent and is hereby dismissed".
Counsel to the PDP, Emmanuel Ukala ,SAN, had urged the court to strike out the appeal or dismiss it in its entirety as the reliefs sought by the APC could only be granted at the court of appeal and not the Supreme Court.
Okala argued that the appeal by APC was filed outside of the time provided by law, maintaining that the Supreme Court takes seriously its rules on filing of notice of appeal and non-compliance to those rules renders the process incompetent.
Earlier, Counsel to the APC, J.S Okutepa (SAN) urged the Supreme Court to overrule its decision on earlier judgement delivered in the consolidated appeals which held that the appeal before it was a pre-election matter.
He argued that the Supreme Court could set aside its decision if it was taken contrary to constitutional provision.
Counsel to INEC, Don Umalor, said INEC did not file any breif on the appeal and likes to remain neutral and non-partisan.
Ualmalor submitted that INEC leaves the matter to the decision of the court.
The Federal High court in Port Harcourt had on January 7, nullified the direct and indirect primaries conducted by the two factions of the APC in the state.
Justice Kolawole Omotosho, who presided over the case also restrained the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from presenting Tonye Cole and Magnus Abe as governorship candidates in the general elections.
INEC executed that order an excluded the APC from the ballot. The elections have been concluded with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike duly re-elected.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Breaks Silence On Postponement Of Election, Tells Nigerians What To Do by Ccdavies(m): 5:08am On Feb 17, 2019 |
sarrki: The All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has expressed disappointment over the postponement of the presidential and national assembly elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Tinubu, in a statement he personally signed on Saturday, said though, he acknowledged the enormity of the logistical challenge that elections poses to INEC, he was still pained that the Commission could not meet this challenge within the time allotted.
He, however, urged Nigerians who intended to vote to maintain their commitment and not be discouraged by the latest development.
He said, “Do not allow this delay to deter you from the expression of your democratic rights. What you had set your mind to do on February 16, keep your mind and heart on for February 23.
“We are also perplexed that INEC literally waited so late in the day to make known the obstacles preventing it from keeping faith to the election schedule. INEC could have and should have given the nation more ample and earlier warning. This could have perhaps lessened the pervasive disappointment that we all now feel. It also would have helped people better order their steps”.
“As the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress and simply as a Nigerian, I must express my profound concern and dissatisfaction with the unexpected, late hour postponement of the presidential and national assembly elections by INEC. According to INEC, the one-week postponement of the election from February 16 to February 23 was compelled by logistical difficulties encountered by the commission in transporting essential election material to polling in various parts of the country.
“While we appreciate the enormity of the logistical challenge that elections in a vast nation like ours poses to INEC, we are still pained that the Commission could not meet this challenge within the time allotted. We are also perplexed that INEC literally waited so late in the day to make known the obstacles preventing it from keeping faith to the election schedule. INEC could have and should have given the nation more ample and earlier warning. This could have perhaps lessened the pervasive disappointment that we all now feel. It also would have helped people better order their steps today.
“We have reports of eager voters rising early to leave their homes to cast their ballots only to be told upon arriving at their appointed polling stations that the election had been postponed. This should not have happened for it could well discourage people from coming out when the election takes place. Thus, we heartily commend those people for coming out in exercise of their fundamental rights and duties as citizen voters, who vote by vote, seek to build and perfect our democracy. For each voter is in part an architect and each one of your votes is a brick by which, when lain together, shall construct a strong democracy in such a way that it shall forever stand and endure. Thus, we appeal to all who actually came out to vote and to those who intended to vote today, to maintain your commitment. Do not allow this delay to deter you from the expression of your democratic rights. What you had set your mind to do on February 16, keep your mind and heart on for February 23.
“INEC has stated the reason for the delay and has expressed regret over the inconveniences it has caused. We must take INEC’s statement at face value and hold to the belief that INEC understands even more than ever the sober and grave responsibility it has to our nation and our democracy. INEC can only properly discharge that responsibility by conducting free and fair elections. While we cannot go back to repair what did or did not happen to cause this postponement, we all must encourage INEC to do all that is necessary so voting can smoothly proceed on February 23. Whatever our political affiliation, we must encourage INEC to overcome the difficulties in order to rise to this most important occasion. INEC must commit itself more than ever before to perform to its utmost so that these elections will be remembered as a free and fair exercise consonant with the best of international standards.
“In the end, elections must be held in such a manner that every vote carries the same weight and no vote is minimized because elections took place much earlier or later in one place than in another. Thus, it is better to experience a slight delay to conduct the elections properly rather than to conduct the elections piecemeal and uneven fashion. No one will absolve INEC if such a fate befalls this all-important election. The electoral body must use the one-week extension mend its logistics gaps and lapses. This delay has clearly provoked significant anger and disappointment among the people. The voters were ready and INEC should have been equally as prepared and ready as the voters. Yet, we ask that the people contain their anger and remain calm. Let no one be tempted to breach the peace because of this delay.
“In the greater scheme of things, a one-week delay is not overly burdensome when compared to the importance of conduct of free and just elections in the establishment of representative democracy and good governance in our land. Please, persevere just a bit longer to ensure that the elections on February 23 truly reflect the will of the people. Whatever obstacles may come, be they large or small, let us show the world the Nigerian people will not be deterred from realizing the democracy for which we have fought and sacrificed so long and so hard to achieve.”

Is the organisation GOD'S REPRESENTATIVE INSTITUTE?
Your funny question is like a university of Lagos Medical student asking if he can write exam in any other university with the same department.
I am really shocked at your question but I guess you are not really serious.
When you MARRY, so do show love to your wife or to all wives in the world?
GOD IS ONE, GOD HAS A SYSTEM AND PLACE WHERE HIS WORSHIPERS ASSEMBLE, IT IS CALLED THE CHURCH..... It would be confusion for the same God to have different means of Approach because it would mean He is not consistent with His nature. Also, TITHE is really not an ISSUE as daddy freeze and others have been barking about... TITHE BEGAN BEFORE THE LAW even in the book of Genesis.... so it is NOT a question OF WHETHER TO PAY OR NOT.... it is simply a system of how God's GOVERNMENT WORKS.
THE KINGDOM OF GOD is a REAL KINGDOM and every KINGDOM has taxes and levis BUT It seems that we have outgrown the KINGDOM system and forgotten it exists simply because we are under a PRESIDENTIAL RULE. NONETHELESS, God is not mocked, and PAYING TITHE or NOT PAYING will not guarantee you a place in heaven,
SO PLEASE STUDY YOUR BIBLE TO CONFIRM WHAT I HAVE SAID, so that no one will come here with MINDLESS CHATTER without scriptural references. WE DO NOT SERVE A KING BY THOUGHTS OR FEELINGS OR EMPATHY OR SYMPATHY.... WE SIMPLY FOLLOW THE LAID DOWN PRINCIPLES OF HOW HE WANTS TO BE SERVED.

FlirtyKaren: An Ebonyi man identified as Enyim Akpaga, reportedly killed himself in Amukabia village, Achalla in the Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State, over the recent okada ban in the state.
The 21-year-old Ebonyi man who had hard times caused by the okada ban, was a commercial motorcyclist in the state before the trade was banned by the Anambra State Government in July this year.
”Since that time, Enyim has not seen anything meaningful to do and he was complaining to some of us that he had become frustrated.
“Though it had been about two weeks I saw him last, I’m sure his predicament had something to do with the okada ban in the state” a source told Punch's correspondent.
While this is the second suicide case over the okada ban, it was gathered that the State government insisted that the ban must be, stating that the operators on the guise of okada riders would rob unsuspecting members of the public.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the incident said;
“One Sunday Okpaga of Ebonyi State but resides at Oye in Achalla, Awka North LGA reported at Achalla division that his cousin, one Enyim Akpaga allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself.
“Scene was visited by police detectives attached to Achalla Division and corpse was immediately taken for burial without autopsy to Ebonyi State by relatives who claimed and insisted that was part of their tradition" he said.

Politics / Re: Anyone Aggrieved With Travel Ban Should Go To Court – Presidency by Ccdavies(m): 2:53pm On Oct 15, 2018 |
sirlekzy: Garba Shehu, who appeared on Channels TV last night on behalf of the Presidency, disclosed that the Federal Government is yet to release names of those affected by the travel ban empowered by the Executive Order 6.
Reacting to the list with former Ministers and Governors including a dead judge which went viral yesterday, the Presidency said the list being paraded is fake and that those who have been banned have had their cases running before the coming of the Buhari administration.
“We’ve seen a number of names being circulated. We have not issued any list. We are not going to issue any list because, again, if we did so, a lot of criticism will follow. Trials by media and all sorts of things.
“These cases are mostly known by most Nigerians. There are cases that have been in the public domain. Most of them were never really instituted by this administration. They go back seven to 10 years.” he said.
Garba Shehu who also spoke to Punch’s correspondent, told those criticizing the decision of the Federal Government to place about 50 Nigerians being investigated for corruption on travel ban, to go to court.
”Those who are opposed to this government’s position know what they can do. They should go to court. There is nobody under any illusion as far as the present administration’s anti-corruption war is concerned. Let it be known to all that this government will not abandon this ongoing fight against corruption because of such criticisms;; he said

Politics / Re: Obasanjo's Endorsement Of Atiku Will Not Distract President Buhari by Ccdavies(m): 8:02pm On Oct 12, 2018 |
presidency: State House Press Release
Obasanjo's Endorsement Of Atiku Will Not Distract President Buhari
The Presidency has received the news of former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s predictable U-turn and somersault on the endorsement of the PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar, at a meeting Thursday, and to say that we are the least surprised by the well-rehearsed theatre.
They will lose together. Listening to the prepared statement of the former President after the meeting showed the usual ego trip and “I know it all” character of Chief Obasanjo.
In the first place, we dare to say that a pompous statement from the former President advising Nigerians on a vote against President Buhari is the best recommendation that can come at this time.
It also betrayed a lack of understanding of today’s politics which is about good governance.
The country voted for change in 2015 and a leader that ensures good governance which only President Buhari and the APC can provide.
Bent on these laudable goals, we will not allow ourselves to be distracted.
We are busy on various national issues including the restructuring and the diversification of the economy, fighting corruption, terrorism and other threats to national security; increasing the availability of electric power, improving education, health, and providing long-delayed infrastructure – roads, rail, airports and so forth.
Many governments have come and gone, but they did not care about some of these projects.
We were talking about these things for sixteen years under the PDP and nothing was done.
President Buhari is proud of his record because his achievements are verifiable, while that of the PDP is manifested by the devastating social and economic impact of large scale corruption during their governance.
The President will not relent in the war against corruption because the ordinary people are the ultimate victims if we surrender to corruption and let its perpetrators go unpunished.
Abandoning the war against corruption is not an option. President Buhari is in this battle against graft because he cannot allow a few, rapacious, and selfish class of the elite to divert the resources meant for the well-being of the ordinary people to their private pockets.
Nigerians trust President Buhari in this effort because they are convinced he is not in government for personal financial benefits, or for an ego trip. It is just eleven years ago that the former President and Vice President in their ugly fight for power accused each other of corruption. Nigerians are yet to forget all that.
Garba Shehu Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity) October 11, 2018 All these Medial personnel self,na every rain wey dey fall dey touch una? Must you react to everything? Who cares if you are distracted or not. Please stop exposing ur high level of ignorance and inexperienced to the world CU's it have do. Mbok... Yak ado light 1 Like |
