corncernin the private uni option, imagine the top five unis in 9ja are govt unis and unilorin wich is the best rankd in 9ja is 7,638 in the world (even the worst college in yankee may be beta dan dat)so the likes of convenent uni will be around 10,000 in the world so not an option

am just so happy today cos i av got admission unexpectedly even without any wahala imagin i applied to a university online filled the application form and made payment den i got a notification of all d document i av to send b4 i get my admission(i.e waec scratch card,toefl,transcript,sat etc) den i planned to send all this documents later then went out to buy a waec scratch card and send to the schl after like an hour i got a mail that i av gotten admission and am yet to send my transcripts,sat and toefl etc now i planning to send my parents statement acct to get the i-20 or whatever, i cant just believe myself 2day

@A-town, i av written sat1,sat2 and toefl i am only tryin to tell peeps that u can get admisson without these exam which u said u cant

wichita state uni,cleveland state uni(ohio) etc let me share a story with you my friend went to yankee on visitation den wen he got there he visitd a schl and went to their admissions office to ask for admission requirement and ask the officer if he needed toefl den the officer told him dat as long as he has a credit or distinction in waec he will be exempted for toefl and dat sat is optional(4 scholarship purpose) den the officer told him since he was able to communicate with him he wont av any problem listenin to lectures in class also dat toefl is usually requested in order to confirm dat an intl student can communicate well in english even though in the schl web they said toefl is compulsory for intl student, i will also share my own personal experience withchu shortly.thank(may u all av fun @gongo aso et all nlanders)

some us schl do exempt nigerians from toefl and tell you sat is optional ok.some also say b3 in waec can satisfy ur english proficiency while some also can give you admission without toefl and wen u get admission u will write english placemet test in the school.finish

there are enough unis dat i knw in us that admit people with waec only without sat and toefl.4 ur info they are good schools though
