ninetiethcrown7:Even without the increment in min wage, there's already inflation that is nearing supposed hyperinflation. It's bad already. Simple economics also tells you what to expect when purchasing power is lost, there'll be complete collapse of the system |

oyebanji:The process of Minimum wage review should have been started a long time ago and would have been in the process of implementation if they were serious about helping the poor. Up until today, all we've been hearing are just rumors while people are suffering. I don't care whom anyone supports, my only concern is the level of hardship in that country. No matter how much we try to blind our eyes to that truth, it will stare right back at us. Nigerians are suffering and it is getting worse, the government should have pity on them haba! It's not too much to ask 2 Likes 1 Share |

Make it make sense for me... Why not just review the min wage to a sustainable threshold considering the inflation and tax Nigerians are experiencing. Secondly, who are these "low grade" workers as defined by the income? What happens after the 6months? How many people are even earning salaries, not to mention benefiting from an additional 25k? Why not create jobs in manufacturing industries which is the easiest area to create jobs for low skilled workers and reduce the over 50% unemployment rate. I feel these guys just put out random policies because it sounds right in their mouth without a plan. In the next 6 months, they'll come out to claim they've spent "billions" providing financial aid to "poor Nigerians" yet we don't know a single person that received this money neither did we receive it ourselves just like their cash transfer project. 232 Likes 17 Shares |

A summary of the first half for Nigeria is that our worst player is our captain - Troost Ekong. That tells you alot The 2 holding midfielders are not even in sync, no progression from midfield to attack except to launch ball or misplace their pass. Our striker sef na pure water. Our tactics is just to try so hard to reach near penalty box, give ball to Samuel Kalu and he will blast over. Very nonsense coach 5 Likes |

Good evening guys. The system updated my profile to 3 years work experience on the 1st of september but in reality it should be by beginning of Dec. As a result, I got an ITA few days ago. Is it okay if I should go ahead and submit my application? |

Pixful: Here's a step by step breakdown for Pharmacists. It has already been posted on page 1 but there are minute changes to the fees First thing is to register on Pharmacy gateway (http://www.pharmacistsgatewaycanada.ca) and pay 93k to get what is called a NAPRA ID. Then afterwards, register on pebc (www.pebc.ca) with 183k for your Pharmacy degree document evaluation. You'll then download 2 forms; one is a form containing your details you filled on the PEBC website and another form called the "ECA report form". PS: Keep your email safe because all communications with PEBC will be via this route Apply to PCN to send your licensing statement (Letter of Good standing) directly to PEBC if currently licensed. This costs 50k. (30k for the statement and 20k for courier) Apply to your school to send your Bpharm Transcript directly to PEBC Notarize with a commisionerof oath or lawyer the online application form, ECA report form, certified true copy of your Pharmacy university certificate, Intl passport data page, marriage certificate (if any), change of name if name on application is different from any of the names on the supporting documents. Then package and send via post/courier to the following PEBC address 717 Church Street, Toronto, ON M4W 2M4, Canada Wait for an acknowledgement email from them (PEBC) on receiving all documents from the two institutions (Your University transcript and the licensing statement) and your supporting documents (Takes about 4 weeks from the time the last document was delivered). After the acknowledgment email, it'll take another 4 weeks for PEBC to complete your evaluation. You can send them a mail to enquire the status of your application. The ECA will then be sent to your address you filled during the application. If it is a Nigerian one, it'll take about 2 to 3 weeks to get the report. But if a Canadian or US address, it'll be delivered within 5 days Use the information to then create your Express Entry profile. What you will need to apply: • A valid Visa or MasterCard for the full application fee cos payments are online • Your Username and Password if you have previously applied for a pebc pharmacist exam • Cookies enabled on your browser to ensure your information is private and secure If you are a first time applicant: A NAPRA ID number acquired by enrolling in the NAPRA Gateway (check the Pharmacy gateway address above) Once you have completed the online portion of the application you must: Print the PDF version of the application provided Follow the application instructions for Document Evaluation. Mail or courier the paper application and required documents (trsnscripts, licensing statement) to pebc If you complete the online portion of the application but do not print and send pebc the paper application via courier, your application will be withdrawn or You will be charged an administrative fee of $150CAD PS: Ensure you prepare and write your IELTS within this time frame and achieve a CLB9 and above to get a high CRS score 18 Likes 6 Shares |

kellycute:Every province is peculiar in terms of what they are looking for. You will have to research the provinces yourself and find out if you meet their minimum requirements. Also, there's a thread https://www.nairaland.com/4180147/all-canadian-provincial-nominee-programs on Canadian Pronvicial Nomination. Do check it out from page 1 1 Like |
