I'm afraid you're misinterpreting my post. I'm not interested in naira or CAD denomination.
Non-currency in this context meant "out-dated".
So rephrasing my earlier poser, would CIC accept a 7 month old PoF letter? Is there any statement on CIC web on this?

LMAO 7 months POF letter? Anything could have happened to the money within the said 7 months. A very recent financial letter from your bank showing you are not in debt to them is needed. Not to forget throwing in your account statement for the past 3 months (from the time of application)
Hope this answers it...

Has anyone secured job using any registered canadian immigration company?
Do these agencies really work?
That was how a friend of mine was offered a "job" since may of this year by one "recruiting agency". The Nigerian guy representing the agency asked her to pay 800k so that they'll process everything. Na so this babe count 800k pay till now, no show.

With this Canada PR thing, alot of scammers are cashing in on the gullibility of some desperate individuals. One has to be careful in some steps being taken

Faith works but timing and action is everything! You might miss an opportunity you may never get back. You have no control over whether the scores come down or not. You have control over ways to boost your scores. Work on what you can control.
The scores for now will keep getting high. I know some 25years olds with 3 years experience, sibling points, POF and a BSC, just waiting to write CIMA or BCS IT. Even with 8777, their scores will get them ITA at 480+
More young people are entering the pool, more sibling are giving out sibling points, more people are getting nominations, more people are knowing of Canada EE.
Also increasing the quota of invitations has no effect on the CRS scores. If 5000 people are in the pool with 470+ scores and the government invites 4000, if you like have faith from now till tomorrow, if you’re on 440, you won’t get that ITA. Positivity is great but it pays to be realistic and exhaust one’s options NOW!
Thanks for the encouragement. We'll keep pushing. I've maxed my IELTS and my degrees is equivalent to a Master's. Hopefully next draw favours us

I like your optimism. There have been too many negative posts here lately. A major miracle would be the CRS scores taking a dive and theres also the possibility of snagging a NOI.
Yeah, anything is possible. No one knows for sure what will happen next. It's the hope we have that keeps us going

Also, don't let the negativity get to you. Just keep pushing hard

how will it go very low when more people are joining the pool and more people will finish some other programs in december. do all you can to increase your scores . the scores are not going low. if there is no draw today crs will be 475 or more. as more people will pass ielts this friday and every 2 weeks.
Lol I understand your concerns, but this PPR race is all about faith.

The liberals promised an increase in the quota for immigration to about 350k. The implication is that they might increase the draw size to 4k per each draw. If this is the case then the cut off can't be sustained at 470 or so. It'll come down to 450's.

Nothing is certain, we only act by faith. Isn't it better for her to get ready so that she jumps into the poll once the score starts coming down? Than to miss it completely??

Remember this quote "If we try, we might win, if we don't try we have LOST"

Good morning everyone. I guess this is the point I have to step back and pursue a masters degree cry I have used the best ielts scores and I still didn't reach the cut off point with my bsc. A friend advised I just do it like that since I scored above 400, he said I'd get a PNP nomination. I am not fully convinced about that, but with two years of masters degree, I would be able to save more money, read more about the program and pass my ielts in flying colours.
I wish y'all the best. See you here in 2021/2022!
I remember you saying something about having a skill, have you read up on the skilled traders programme yet? I don't know much about it, but check this link out and see if you're eligible

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/skilled-trades.html

Also, you can do other short courses as people have listed out. Trust me, the cut off will go very low in January judging from previous trends. So you have good time to get your self ready. Pls don't give up

But wait, based on trends is there likely to be a draw today? Because I went to check the trends from previous months/years and they didn't really do another FSW draw after and FST draw the next week. Maybe I didn't see well sha.

Also, post election they might just be chilling and will rather wait until next week for things to stabilize? lol

What do you think?
It was only May of this year that they didn't do a draw after FST. Check 2018 & 2017, there were draws either 1 week before FST or a week after FST.

That's where our hope is anchored on

Calm down and pay attention to details, We did one month in camp abi? I am just wondering how the letter will capture that as 12 months.

I am asking because there is a new principal in my former PPA and I want to be sure of the details before I call him. There will be no room for mistakes.

Your statement is definitely an attack to me but I will let it slide. For the love of peace.

Attach your certificate to the letter you're sending to the school to show the dates you served. That settles it.

Canada decides 2019 – What could be the Possible Canada Immigration future after the 2019 election?...

From the polls, I see a conservative victory but there won't be a majority. Canadians are really angry with Trad and the Liberals. As regards immigration, I don't think there'll be any major impact although I feel Conservs may increase the points for LMIA jobs to maybe 600 pts just like before

My opinion though

So, that's even smaller than I said. Now, with the regular 3600 average ITA per draw, how many draws can be done this year? Just 5 draws. I just hope this isn't the reality.

With the way Sask is dishing out PNP to covet the remaining ITAs into their own province, people with 300+ CRS are jumping over those with a comfortable 458-9 to get ITA through EOI and additional 600points.

They should just create a special draw for PNP nominees

I just pray, the intervals between draws as well as the ITA issued will favor a reduction in crs scores early enough.

We still have 21k ITAs to meet the target for 2019. Although, the target has never been met, but it keeps moving closer due to awareness and acceptance.

The scary thing I just noticed again...

But unfortunately, going by the rate of ITA avg 3600, about 6 draws can only be done to meet the 21000 ITA target, except they want to go above target. Given the 2 week normal interval, there should be about 10draws left. But 6 is likely and I think that is why people are fighting to go in through PNP at all cost and the crs scores might stay up.

Sad! Still with optimism that I'm wrong.
2019 Target is 81,400. So far in the first 3 quarters, they've invited 21 600, 20 600 and 21 200 making it a total of 63,400 ITAs sent out. Meaning we have about 18000 ITAs left, right?

Me I'm driving the score down with my mind and positive energy. 460 no be joke. I dont see the score sgetting sustained at a 470 or 466 sef. It will always come and kiss 459 again. At least we did 430 early this year. It's just a cycle.
Interesting observation and positivity. I share the same optimism, and with the same optimism, I anticipate a draw on Wednesday next week plus another draw the following week.

It's possible to have back to back draws if IRCC wants to meet its immigration target for 2019. I feel one reason the cut off spiked was people panicked and jumped into the pool before the elections. It'll normalize soon, We'll be favoured

Okay Thanks for the prompt response, but is it possible that after spending all this one can still be denied entry?

And I guess this is minus the cost of visa, international passport and flight cost as well
Loool I feel there's more to your fears than you asked.

But no, you won't be denied any entry unless you lied in your application. Falsification of any document to hoodwink the Visa Officers will attract a ban of about 5 years from entering Canada.

Secondly, if you reach the cut off, you'll be invited to apply (ITA). Work experience, Ielts play a major role here. Check Page 1 to fully grasp the process, if you then have any confusions, come around and drop your questions. We'll be glad to assist as much as we can

Hello, hope this is not absurd but I was wondering if I could get an estimate of how much you spent altogether migrating from Naija to Canada as a Pharmacist. And also if there's any special cgpa requirement

1) Document evaluation with PEBC (Canadian Pharmacy body): You need to have an ID called NAPRA ID (you will pay 95k to get the ID).
After getting the ID you then proceed to document evaluation fee (which is about 182k)

2) Licensing statement from PCN (50k) will be sent by PCN

3) Transcript sent by the school (30-60k depending on your school)

4) IELTS: 75k (BC) or 73k (MOD)

Then after getting ITA, you will then pay for Police Clearance certificate, medicals, visa fee. Check Page 1, there's a column for pharmacists

To your second question, your Pharmacy degree is equal to a master's degree which gives you additional points on the express entry platform. And No, they don't use CGPA
