I don't think anytime from now is too early to begin your application process. As a matter of fact, the fact that ure already reading up this topic on the forum means you've started already. Is always good to start early and get things settled way before time than having to rush rush in the end anyways. That being said, I'd think that in ur case, what you wld want to be mindful of is choosing a visa interview date that is appropriate for your schedule seeing as ure a teacher with a pretty set schedule.
Oh, by the way, are u applying from Dubai? I'm kinda assuming ure applying from Nigeria. I don't know much about the process and how it goes in Dubai.
Personally I started researching and corresponding with the hospitals pretty much as soon as I got pregnant. However, I eventually applied for my visa in July/August and travelled in October. All the best with ur plans.

thanks so much. and yes i'll be applying from dubai. about the hospital u used,i'm assuming its the del sol medical centre of www.doctoresparati.com in el paso, texas right? if not pls tell me which one, your experience with them and how much u spent overall. hope am not asking for too much? my regards to your baby. cheers

Hi all, so by the grace of a God, my stay in Elpaso comes to a successful end on Sunday, Jan 11th when I leave for NAija. Shout out to Baba God Himself and his beautiful children on this forum who have contributed immensely to my entire experience so far. Right now, I'm on the lookout for any mom who would be coming to Elpaso soonest ...I've got the cooking and home utensils I've been using for the past 3 months and I'd love to pass it on to any mama who's interested, to save herself the stress if buying anew. A kind NAija mum gave me some of them on my arrival here and the rest I bought. Feel free to pm me if interested so we can work out an arrangement as to where I'd leave them for you just in case ure arriving after I leave. Cheers all

hello damsel. congratulations and thank God for your safe delivery and hitch free stay @ El paso. I am two months gone now and would like to have my baby in the us. from what i've read so far on this thread, i think I've my mind is made up on El paso.i've visited their websites and seen their prices for 2015 for both normal and cs birth. i just hope they are as straight forward as they seem. Damsell, my question is, when do i apply for the visa,i'm a Nigerian living and working in Dubai. my baby is due in july ending and school closes june 18(i'm a teacher). i don't know when and how to start. will it be too early if i start the visa application now?(its definitely going to be for vacation and to have my baby). since u have a recent experience, i was wondering if u could tell me how to go about it?
thanks dear.

Gurus here pls help a brother, I just want to
know if statement of result are allowed for result authentication at d ministry in abj and hope statement of result are generally acceptable in UAE?I have applied for my cert and paid all necessary fee but the school is just delaying saying I'll be having it by october which a way too far for me to start processing and applying for online jobs here

my honest advice is this (it depends on ur school anyway, if its private, state or federal) :"go down to school and sit on their neck if not,u will wait tire. I had d same experience when i went to collect mine. i was given 1 month. but after the 1 month, it was all stories upon stories. i just had to advice myself to go there and sit on their necks because i really needed that certificate urgently for my present job. you wont believe i got my certificate in 2 days. although sha,i had to facilitate it by following it up all the way(with money and stories-both true and untrue).i dint spend up to 5k sha.
if not my dear, they will just dump ur file and keep tellin u stories.

hope this helps

i understood all what yu av said. my plan is to move to another place after some years in dubai, bt we never can say, somthin myt hook me down in dubai, so m jst trying to have an idea of how sponsoring spouse is. I also tot of her coming, get a job nd let a company do the sponsoring of a thing.

nd am only coming to hustle, to get a work and i av good plans for business. money made will go into by pending agric business back home.

i think its better for her to come to dubai, get a job and be sponsored by the company so she is not tied to u. thats wat i did. came in with a one month extendable visa, got a job and am being sponsored by my employers. i think its d best bet.

but ur not even married yet. when you get to the bridge ,you ll definitely know how to cross it.
