You made the final list. Now, that's very inspiring.
A lot of people who didn't have the TRCN stuff and applied for education corps made the list

Bro please I got into the final list DSSC Nd I applied for Education Corp without the TRCN certificate please any suggestions on how to scale through?

For you to scale the documentation screening without the TRCN certificate means it wasn't "necessary" as at then, but once you're commissioned and you're posted to education corp, you'd need to apply and get it

Those of you that are saying negative stuff to those cadets that blocked the road should try and understand something before you pass judgement...
It has always been a tradition for nms boys that get into NDA..and they've been doing it for more than 10 years now ...I have several videos of it..I even have one Currently that the NDA cadets were joined by NPA cadets and they blocked the road together...if you were a regular, you'd do it after clownship so just leave those boys, they just got their uniforms after so many months..as at when we were at the screening, they were still wearing salala like us..many of them with their broken arms and legs in MRS...
Let them enjoy their life...they mistake they made is posting the video..now segalink on Twitter wants to get them withdrawn from NDA...

Well make una Sha enter first...all this talk go stop when these same boys we dey block road open belt for your neck as prep wingers...

You think they are small now, you'll see them like God's till they go in March..

Bro, I'm an Exboy and I don't support their actions atall. Their actions can't be justified!
.
What's wrong is wrong! Those cadets needs to be severely punished, they're future generals, they can't go around oppressing civilians because of their newly acquired status, some of them won't pass out sef.

How our soldiers have been reduced in value to perform duties a bouncer is meant to do is very irritating!.
.
How can a soldier be called to protect a celebrity? Like what nonsense is that, where's it done?
.
In saner climes, the military only protect the president of the country and have no business with civilians, I don't know where we got it all wrong in this country.

Thanks brother

I'm not against the use of the AK-47. In fact, I prefer it to the M16 assault rifles due to its more distant firing range. However, the ones we have are too old and worn out. I get worried about the young guys that are being wasted whose death are totally avoidable.

And I don't think I want to believe that the ISWAP guys are better trained. However, Musa has been at the gate too long to know that anything is possible. The question is; do al-qaeda now have better training centres than Depot? Or is it that they have more battle hardened veterans in their ranks? Please could you throw more light on these so that I may know more.

Cc Odinmbannamdi, Ugo4U, Sikowitz.

I can't tell about their training to know which is superior between the Nigerian Army and them, all I know is they are well trained also and they're FEARLESS, when they fight, they fight with enthusiasm because they have nothing to lose because of how they've been brainwashed about a better life in the hereafter, unlike our troops who might want to fight defensively because of their family which is at stake.
.
That's my take on it sir.

Just to add a little on what ugo4u mentioned, the AK47 remains the best assault rifle we have in this world.
.
It is capable of firing under any condition, including under water.
.
It doesn't have stoppages due to firing for long.
.
Soldiers at the battle front don't have to bother about cleaning their rifles always because it requires little or no maintenance.
.
In general, the usage of AK47 by the Nigerian Army can't bw downplayed atall.

You both have very salient points and I was able to pick a thing or two from you guys (Ugo4u & Blueelf).
.
It's a shame our military are yet to completely defeat this insurgency, but also have in mind that those guys (the Boko Haram & ISWAP members) are well trained, if not more trained than our soldiers.
.
The solid backup they have and the surprise attacks (ambush) are what is giving them an edge over our armed forces, imagining them possessing high end weapons like Anti Aircraft (AA), RPG, GPMG.
.
Bare it in mind that the tactics and approach of war (Guerrilla Warfare) is what's making it difficult to completely defeat the insurgents in Nigeria, that's the same tactics the Al Qaeda and Al Shaban are using in their terrorism which has made them still dominant today.
.
The Nigerian Army of this decade isn't same as previous ones, anyone who's joining the Nigerian Army should brace up and make up his mind that he is going to fight terrorism be it RC, SSC, DSSC, EC or RRI and should be ready to pay the ultimate price.
.
May God help us all

Regular cadets are to resume 4th of January, and usually SSC cadets do resume a week after so, let's watch out.
The list should be released this week, and probably a week grace to prepare and resume.
.
Not confirmed though, just my speculation

This is the main deal.....cos many of us (especially me) don't know how we are going to survive the rigorous training. Passing out is the ultimate. I've tried to search for videos of DSSC training, but yet to see any, only depot training flying upandan (ugly sights I must confess). I have a bad shoulder that snaps from time to time which leaves me in terrible pains for two to three days whenever it happens! God help us o!

Please is it normal? since we concluded that interview, I've being using my blue shorts to stay at home and my haircut have being Mallam with no bears only mustaches just the way the military and cadet officers are on default. This thing may be getting into my head, I don't know how the news spread in my street, they all refer to me as an officer and sometimes it can be embarrassing.
Am asking myself what will be my state of health; physically and psychologically if I don't see my name in the final list.
See am not doubting God that he will do it for me but sometimes I can be a pessimist.

It's normal, you must make that final list by God's grace. I can't wait to taunt you in JAJI how you were always anticipating the list, lol. grin
