Nollywoood. That industry needs to be closed down. The same way they make a lot of wack films is the same way they take safety for granted. I have been on a couple of boat rides and I don't dont compromise a life jacket. How can you people be so shallow to take critical things for granted. This was my favourite actor. The only one I followed on social media. So sad

Food / Re: Igbo Soups All Nigerian Tribes Enjoy by Chekwume16(m): 8:47pm On Apr 01
All these my Eastern brothers una mumu no too much. What is this mentality of always grabbing. Egusi is a general soup all over Nigeria and is planted everywhere in the country. White soup is not peculiar to igbos. Many tribes in the south and Middle belt have their name for that soup and special way they prepare it. This is why I just dislike you guys. Mind you I am anioma from delta

Politics / Re: Rivers Assembly Threatens Fubara With Impeachment by Chekwume16(m): 3:16am On Mar 31
Do you stay in ph. Have you ever been to ph before. Where will they sit and impeach him. Do you know how ph was brought to a standstill by Ijaw boys last time. You will just sit in one cubicle and be typing rubbish. That step alone can set the whole niger delta on fire.
Abbeytoy:
A lots of people up there making mouth and daring the honourable s and Wike like they have anything they can do.

If they impeach Fubara, nothing will happen. The only thing that will happen is going to court to claim it back.

If you protest, you'll get lekki treatment.

Stop using emotions to deal with legal, politics or government issues.

These igbos of the east are becoming a laughing stock. That was how one of them told me that my own anioma of delta state will become a part of biafra. Who wants to stay with people who dont respect any contrary opinion. Unity beggers looking for who to join them in their failed ambition

Wetin u dey talk self. Have u ever seen where the legislature makes executive appointments. You don't know they have their specific roles as per the constitution. So they can wake up one day and make a law to appoint commissioners and boards since according to you they have rights to make laws. Since they have appointed let them swear them in and fund them na.
adioolayi:
Wetin Chief of Staff dey talk about

The legislative arm of government is independent of the executive...

The Rivers house of Assembly have exercised their powers, after the Governor refused to sign the bill passed within the constitutional 30 days provided.

Now that bill is an act....the Chief of Staff and the Governor should go to court..all these write up no go cut am.

All these soldiers should know that immediately they set south south on fire that will be the end of Nigeria. They cant fight on all fronts. All this escalation is barbaric
Politics / Re: Delta Killings: Soldiers Occupy Okuama, Raze More Buildings by Chekwume16(m): 9:15am On Mar 18
Niger delta has enjoyed a lot of peace recently. The military should not disrupt the peace with high handedness. Focus on the killers and don't go beyond that

Some of you are just pathetic. Even if you support tinubu don't you have the ability to discern when someone is not getting it right. Must everything be partisan even in the centre of unprecedented suffering. I had no issues with tinubu winning the elections but he has been most disappointing. The problem stated from the cabinet he assembled. Made up of political associates instead of technocrats. Now see where we are and someone is trying to make some sense and you are there spewing political gibberish.

Yes he was an oshimili king but not a supporter of your senseless biafra struggle. That struggle cost us a lot during the war.
AustineE1:
RIP to a very notable Igbo king...i remember his plead and quest for the creation of two more Igbo states from Delta and Rivers,so that Ndigbo will have seven states and major up with other regions. A member of the inner chambers of Ohaneze,he gave an in-depth story of what actually happened on the 5th of October 1967,now known as the Asaba Massacre! When the Nigerian 2nd division led by col. Murtala Mohammed and maj.Ibrahim Taiwo committed genocide against Ndigbo. We still remembers with pain in our hearts.

Politics / Re: Government To Release Food Items From Reserves To Crash Prices by Chekwume16(m): 9:52am On Feb 07
Seems I had a false hope in tinubu. Thought he had some economic sense. When has release from food reserve ever crashed prices in this country. You know the root cause of inflation right now. You removed fuel subsidy and increased taxes including electricity tariff. Attack this problem from the root cause and stop beating around the Bush. Open the borders too. Not this lip service we are playing. Nigeria will soon explode in your hands

Its either you are a criminal or a fool
PressMyButton:
Wike, Umahi, Tunji-ojo, you've got to watch your back. Opposition is never happy seeing you deliver creditably, they try every ways possible to throw the spanner in the wheels. Since Betta took over, she has opened up various programmes, added more beneficiaries into the welfare packages, more impressively is the introduction of retired security personnels, widows of gallant soldiers who died on the field, including previously neglected soldiers whose limps were lost in battle, giving them a new lease of life. My advice to the opposition is, let people work and stop the distractions. Sponsoring media propaganda against top notch performers is a poor tactics and a wrong use of money. Betta is a moving train.

Politics / Re: Tinubu’s govt worst of all, fire will start in Rivers State – Asari Dokubo rants by Chekwume16(m): 6:32pm On Dec 13, 2023
You are the only one who has the correct info on all this. Others are just commenting on what they know nothing about. Its all about the contract.
modernWays:
Asari Dokubo is only being bitter.

He only supported Tinubu because of pipe line surveillance contract previously giving to Tompolo. He became presidency enemy the moment he realised Asiwaju was not ready to terminate Tompolo contract and awarded it to him.
