According to the history we read and heard, Biafran soldiers when to Ore Midwestern region, that is where the Nigerian army started crushing them, is Ore part of Biafra land, Gowon decided to stop their madness when they got to Ore, Midwestern region. If Ojukwu had stayed in igbo land, no one would have disturbed them. And even it is Nnamdi Azikwe that rejected secession clause in the first place.
Your Yoruba history started in Ore.

If your Nigeria government don't bring war to Eastern region, will Biafrans fight back and heading to Nigeria territory?

Ipob should allow the students to write their mathematics exams tomorrow.

WAEC is not just about Nigeria but West Africa. Should the exams in other West Africa countries be cancelled because of one sit at home in SE?
Sudden care and love for South East people.

Be playing. They may not see East as potential or dependable ally, no section of the country is the enemy of East. East must look inward to find its enemy. East is its own enemy. You always seesothers as your enemy because that is what you are to other people. Your hearts and intentions are soiled and dented. It's you who believe you cannot have a progressive cities in the East unless a certain city in the Southwest stops progressing. You rejoice and celebrate others misfortunes. So it's understandable you expect others to celebrate your woes and losses. But that's never the case.
The fall of East will not earn anyone medal or upliftment. No reasonable soul will read of unjust killing of the innocent and jubilate or call for more. What we tell you and will keep telling you is you enable criminals by singing their praise. You can condemn the infirmities of the FG or your state government without sounding as an ally of criminals. Stop defending the atrocities of criminals.

Nobody in the North sees Boko Haram and Bandits in the North as human rights activists. Nobody directly or indirectly justifies their bullshits even when it is obvious their emergence is the results of government failure and ineptitude.

Nobody in the southwest backs the unreasonable ways the Yoruba nation agitators try to fight their course even when it is obvious the timeless disappoinment from elected public officials birthed the agitations.

Nothing justify any form of Killing. Tackling roadblocks doesn't call for extreme measure of maiming and slaying people. K

I can smell your hypocrisy from here.

Like I said,I don't know when those that rejoiced and cheered Nigeria soldiers for killing hundreds of innocent youths in East start caring for East.

Even though the Waec people shouldn't have fixed such controversial date but should all the exams in all the region's be cancelled because of one region? The answer is NO

Those who want to observe sit at home should do voluntarily and allow those who have business for that day to go about it

https://www.nairaland.com/7226905/while-ugm-vacation
No business that day.

99% of people do it voluntary but enemies of East always want to act as if they care about East.

I mean the same people that rejoiced and cheered Nigeria soldiers for killing hundreds of unarmed innocent youths in East.

That day only students writing exams are allowed and they must be on their uniforms.

You wrote about voluntarily and business,If your Nigeria government allow being a Nigerian to be voluntary and those that have business to be Biafran to be,will there be issue like this?

Let me remind you that sit at home was introduced because your Nigeria government send soldiers to kill hundreds of innocent people holding memories service for Biafra heroes.
They didn't stop any movement or business, Just join the memorial service if you wish while those that wishes to go work or business are allowed.

To avoid more killing of our people by your evil Nigeria soldiers, sit at home was introduced.

Igbo children's right to education: An Appeal to IPOB
...............................................
I write this piece against the backdrop of the recent threat issued by the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) to all the school children in South-East Nigeria who are due to write the Mathematics paper on 30th May 2024 as part of the on-going West African Senior School Certificate Examination(WASSCE). I may be targeted for this write-up, but it matters less to me. I speak not for myself but for our children.

Most Igbo people I know sympathize with the agitation of IPOB to have its leader, Nnamdi Kanu released by the Nigerian government. Myself inclusive. We believe that Nnamdi Kanu committed no crime in asking that Fulani killer herdsmen vacate the South East forests willy-nilly, especially when the Nigerian government under the immediate past president, Mohammadu Buhari was intentionally docile and folded its arms while thousands of Igbo people were murdered on their own lands by these marauding Fulani herdsmen. We also believe that Nnamdi Kanu committed no crime in demanding that a referendum be conducted in the former Eastern region of Nigeria for the indigenes to determine whether they want to continue to be part of Nigeria or not. These are legitimate demands (under international laws) that every conscionable Nigerian in today's Nigeria would agree with, given the current situation in the country.

However, threatening our children who are due to write the Mathematics paper on 30th May 2024 as part of the on-going WASSCE exams and demanding that they boycott the paper is something I cannot agree with. The questions begging for answers are - who loses when our children do not write the exam? We do. Who gains when our children do not write the exams? The enemy.
Unless the IPOB leadership has been infiltrated by the enemies of the Igbos, this threat against Igbo children is a catastrophic misstep, an own goal against the people of the South East. While the agitations for Nnamdi Kanu's release and restoration of actual federalism continue, our children's right to education must not be breached.

I commend the Abia state government for appealing to IPOB to allow our children to write their Mathematics paper. In contrast, the comments of the Anambra state commissioner for education, Ngozi Chuma-Ude, are reprehensible. She is quoted to have said to the media, “The resolution to some of these problems lies with you, the members of the fourth estate of the realm. Some of the prominence given to wrong things have been the reason for this crisis. When you spread these bad things, you make the society worse... If a child doesn’t know that they were asked not to come out, he won’t fear and he will come out and take his exam. He will not bother. It is the media in their usual way that spread the news and instill fear in the people." This statement shows the commissioner's profound misunderstanding of how IPOB operates and thereby puts our children at risk. She needs to be cautioned.

I appeal to IPOB as a stakeholder in the Igbo project to allow our children to take their Mathematics paper. Last year, the children wrote the exam in full, and it should not be different this year. As was done last year, children should wear their school uniforms for easy identification and safety. And IPOB must come out to provide security for our children at all examination venues.

IPOB must understand that our children writing their academic exams does not undermine its agitations. In fact, writing this paper is an intrinsic part of their right to education, as provided and protected by Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 28 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, Article 17 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights, among other international laws.

As usual, I believe IPOB would allow good reasoning to prevail by allowing our children to write their mathematics paper on 30th May 2024. However, if they do not and still prevent our children from writing this paper, it will not only harm our children's future but also erode the legal and moral foundations of IPOB's struggle. This must not happen.

It is just for history sake.
We all..China,Britain,Israel,Egypt,Yoruba,Igbo etc all came from Adam and Eve.
Read from one Igbo historian that Yoruba and Igbo were actually the same brothers.
You can see that there has always been a kind of rivalry between them.
The fact is one(Yoruba) has always mostly had the upper hand which the other one(Igbo) did not like.
They had to depart and Igbo decided to move having it in mind that he will do better than his brother.
Till date, they are still at it.
They are both achievers but the Yorubas still continue to be ahead which always irks their brothers (Igbos)
I think it is their destiny.Even if they break away from Nigeria, the rivalry will continue because Igbos will still endeavor to catch up with Yoruba, their brothers.
Still yet,they are both achievers.
Igbos are not related to you yorubas in anyway.

How is the safety of those students guarrateed on that very day?

Even the Jews that lost 6 million people during the WW2 do not declare sit at home to punnish the living in honour of the dead.
They observe memorial services accross the world to honour them.
Russians lost 22 million people during WW2 they do not lock their people up in the name of honouring their heroes.
Biafrans also do the same things you mentioned the Jews do until 2017 when it was stopped and sit at home introduced.

This was done because your Nigeria government always send soldiers to kill Biafra having memorial service for their Dead.
