Please I need help from the special gurus in the house. My brother wants to visit the UK. for conference relating to his private business. The question is that it is a small private security business passed down from our late dad. The business has been in operation since 1985, though not generating millions a month in income. My brother manages it full time now, but only has the company account. He does not have personal account to show at the embassy. He wants to use the company account. It will have a balance of about 400k (200k each) in two different current accounts. He's going to show invoice that some contract pay him cash. Is this a viable case? will he be denied based on insufficient funds? Do you know of anyone who has applied that owns a small business. There is tax clearance and evidence of landed property (no COF O, but receipt of purchase)and shares, we also have a renter in the house. the problem is that there is no big money in the company account. Please any advice will be very appreciated. You can also e-mail innocent.okonkwo@yahoo.com. Urgent respond abeg, house gurus. I apprecaite everyone who takes there time to reply others.
Thanks.

Please flight advise abeg. Cheapest suggestion.

Yes. Thank God for me and Bomly. We both got our visas this morning. We were both denied within a week interval and God saw us through. To others still waiting, giving up should NEVER enter your dictionary. This is exactly the way nairaspace put it to me. I got a lot of encouragment from you guys and hope that more and more people will share testimonies. My interview was not any regular interview you have ever heard of on this thread. Infact, it was even strange to me. I was only asked how come I found a date in just less than a week, and where did I get the date, as well as who found the date. I told him i found it myself and I found it on VFS website. Con: your WAEC and transcript: I gave him and then he said, I think you qualify for this visa. That's it. No SAT no TOEFL querries like I worried about. I thank God.

Please the cheapest possible ticket is what I am now looking for. Best suggestions please ooh guys. I will always count on you.

Same with Bomly. I am still looking for a date. I went today, but the appointment was invalid. Still looking for a date with Bomly. Anyone that can help us out, we will really appreciate. I can send you my vfs and MRV receipts. Volunteers pls. contact me urgently. tessyfornet@yahoo.com. I heard the expedited appointment request can't work since it's less than months visa was denied. Anyway, i sent an e-mail and believing God.

@Dalsleeky, @oyewoles, GodpikinI am very blessed to have you guys on this thread. You are indeed nices folks.
@Godpikin, I like your suggestion and hope to present my case as you have suggested. God bless you guys. I will give you my good news. Someone just told me that I have to pay another MRV fee and another VFS payment (eventhough, I was given double appointment two
weeks ago). I still need re-confirmation on this, as I plan going to the bank and paying all over again. Someone also told me the second appointment which is meant to be on Tuesday, might be invalid.

Thanks guys.

@ Sparta @ Bomly, thanks for checking up on me. I do appreciate. But I was denied. It was the Chinese woman, I tried to avoid her, but after trying so hard, unfortunately she eventually interviewed me. She asked if I've travlled before and I said yes, to where, I said UK. and she said can I have your SAT and TOEFL score, I said I was exempted and she said maybe the school gives international students admission just to make money from them. I said my school gives in-state tuition. She was not interested in seeing the WAEC result. Anwway, I am going back next week. I just want to know if I need to pay the MRV fee again, since they took the print out from me. Do I also need to pay the vfs fee since, I already have a date.

Thanks to all that have responded to my questions and that have also prayed for me. Yes, my day is tomorrow at 1.pm. When is the best time to be at consular office in Abuja?
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 2:25pm On Aug 03, 2010
@Vandops, Sparta and Ojaps, thanks for your response and advice. @Vandops, I just took the GCE last year, and so certificates I hear are not due till a year later. I am still hoping to get a response from someone who presented the online print out and how the defense went and and the follow-up questions. The more the advice the better for me. This is what we do in this house and it is no secret why a lot of people in this thread are getting thier visas.
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 1:42pm On Aug 03, 2010
I still have not gotten the response to the question. I think the spirit in this thread is dieing. It was used to be that when someone mentions they have interview and they have a question, everyone responds with their advise. That is not happening anymore. I think some people get response and some don't. I have contributed to people's querry and I am suprised noone is responding to my querry. only Dalseeky answered. I am only asking if anyone has used or intends to use online print of WAEC statement of result. I beleieve someone must have, but I am suprised that after mentioning that my interview is on Thursday, noone is either saying goodluck or giving suggestion to the question. Just remember, when you give help to others, the same goes to you. And for the people that have obtained their visas and can answer this question and they are not, remember other people's suggestions helped you. Don't forget easily. Anyway, if you are not responding, I know these whole thing is in the hands of God.

Please I am still asking to get a response before my interview. I have only my online print out of my GCE result (printed from WAEC website) . I don't have any certificate. Has anyone used online statement of result for the embassy? Please reply my interview is Thursday. I also have my scratch card. My problem is that I don't know if this will be recognized. If anyone has used this before please advise.
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 7:22pm On Jul 30, 2010
Has anyone used online GCE statement of result at the embassy? I only have the online print out and nothing more. No certificate or any other document from WAEC. Pls. I need an urgent suggestion from people who have presented their result before. I was given another date for August 5th.
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 8:34pm On Jul 29, 2010
Congrats Nairaspace. Happy for you. God has done it again. I am scheduled for August 10th.

@Dalsleeky, thanks for the response. I'm just wondering if anyone has gone with only the online thing/ scratch card. I did not take TOEFL or SAT, so WAEC question and transcript is so much likely to be asked. If anyone has used scratch card before, please let me know how that went with the consular
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 8:06pm On Jul 28, 2010
refinedsam. Sorry to ehar about your case. But how do you avoid such people? when they say next, are u given a choice who to go to?

I finally got my date for August 10th. Please I have question regarding bank statement. I have my statement printed since 28th June, since I though my interview was going to be sooner, should I still use the same statement. my sponsor does not have much balance any more. My second question is regarding GCE certificate/statement of result. I only have my scratch card and print out from WAEC online result. I just took my GCE last year. Is it true that I can't get my certificate now? how about statement of result. Please I need urgent answer from the gurus.
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 3:03pm On Jul 24, 2010
@ Nneoma, alternatively, your dad can check his account in the last month and see if there was a time enough money came in. Then he should ask the bank to back date the print out for that day. Final balance matters a lot for student visa application.
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 3:01pm On Jul 24, 2010
@ Nneoma. Thanks, you have really been very helpful to others. Regarding your bank statement question. If you present a statement with 500,000 naira, I believe it won't help, because that's a signal of insufficient funds. The one with 10 million from the office, is probably better. But is this from a bank? or does it just stand for work evidence? Anyway, at this point, you need to have a back up statement of account. If u have an uncle that has sufficient fund (i'm sure your 1-20 says family funds), print his own as well and then take time to decide how you want to present all these on that day. But don't panic, just to be safe, get a back up ready and plan on presentation. I think they like statement of account from the bank.

Congrats to you guys that have gotten a date. I have still not heard a word from teh consulate. My interview is supposed to be in Abuja. Is there any other thing I need to do. Are they intentionally ignoring some people, or is it just luck. No response since July 14th. It is so sad. I know Nneoma said she sent multiple e-mails. Should I just be sending and sending at the same time or wait for some time before resending. I need some more advice, please guys. Today, I sent like three e-mails. How many should I send in a day?
@ Nneoma, thanks for the attachment you sent. I just sent one today with your format. But I had almost all the information you presented in yours.

Thanks. Please you can send me your suggestions at tessyfornet@yahoo.com, if it helps. I need advice please.

@nneoma, pls. forward the e-mail to tessyfornet@yahoo.com I still have not heard a word from them. Mine is 9 days now. There are probably so many applicants.
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 1:25pm On Jul 22, 2010
@ ciscoSE I applied since 14th July. No word from them yet. It seems they are not the first come first serve. It's random now or they purposely seleting who they want to issue the date. Anyway no word from them since 14th july. God dey.

I sent my own request for emergency appointment since 14th July and no response yet from them. I am looking for a number to call. They have only one number for Abuja, but when u call, it is automated voicemail and noone to answer. Anyone has a number to call. please share the number. I am desperate to at least get a date. Thanks.
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 12:20am On Jul 21, 2010
@nairaspace. Not yet. I have not heard from them. I am doubting if I can get a date at this time again. I have sent multiple e-mails to them, no response. I contacted vfs and they told me to keep sending the consular e-mail. I don't why this is happening.
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 2:10pm On Jul 19, 2010
I have still not gotten a response on the emergency appointment request. I have scheduled regular appointment for September 3rd and sent an updated e-mail requesting emergency appointment. Unfortunately no response from the consular section. My first e-mail was sent since last Wednesday. Is this the usual wait period?
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 6:32pm On Jul 17, 2010
Thanks. Was ur problem exactly like mine that says expiration date and issue date invalid and invalid date of birth? Regarding ur question. I don't think u have much to worry about since u've been to the UK. You can still use ur Uncle, but it won't hurt to also take ur dad's statement. That way u are proving money is not the problem. But that your uncle decided to bear the cost. Keep it simple that way. Good luck. I will try explorer, but pls. let me know if yours was exactly the error as mine.
Travel / Re: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by chiazogom: 3:42pm On Jul 17, 2010
There is a big problem i'm encountering. I am unable to complete the booking of date online. It says invalid passport issue date and expiration date and invalid date of birth on the vfs website. Has any other person encountered this problem?
