Sports / Re: NFF To Punish Victor Osimhen Over Improper Conduct by chiefolododo(m): 12:00pm On Jun 18
ogbonti:

No this is the best time to punish him- I will rather we miss the world cup than allow what Victor did to stand because IF this situation is not nipped on the bud right now, it will set a wrong precedence in the team that certain players can get away with anything, and one day, someone like Osihmen will slap a Coach - and it will be free for all fight, do you want the Super Eagles to be in the news for such event? na so e take dey start, when misbehavior is overlooked and not punished- it will blgrow wings until it becomes a normal thing for Coaches to be slapped by players - Victor must be punished

In the last nations cup, Ghanaian fans almost physically attacked the players of the black stars at their hotel entrance, they poured insults on them and mocked them like say tomorrow no dey - they blocked their bus from even leaving the hotel - they blamed key players like Mohammed Kudus, the Ayew Brothers (Dede and Jordan) for the poor showing of the Black Stars, did any of these players swear Ogun for the fans ?

- IF France can do without Kareem Benzema when he was World Player of the Year, definitely Osimhen is not bigger than Nigeria

In 1989, Some Super Eagles players then did almost what Victor did right now - they talked trash to the press about NFF and demanded for $30,000 to be payed to them upfront before they show up for camp at Algiers’1990 Nations cup

Players like (now Late) Steven Keshi, (now Late) Phillip Osondu, Samson Siasia and co held the nation to ransom and we were all panicking about our nations cup showing - You know what Clemens Westerhoff, our Dutch technical adviser did then ? he expelled all of them from the team - these were Nigeria’s best then - we still came back from that tournament with Silver Medal even though our boys were very inexperienced, they were very hungry for success because they never expected such opportunity.

Westerhoff threw the camp open for whoever wants to play to come play—/ many unknown players came and one of them was a 17 year old Daniel Amokachi from Ranchers Bees of Kaduna, Others were Ben Iroha, Toyin Ayinla, Ayo (Dodo) Ogunlana, Uche Okechukwu, Osita Aniweke, Ajibade Babalade, Moses Kpakor, Friday Elahor, Thompson Oliha, Alloy Agu, Isaac Semitoje, Herbet Anijekwu, Emma Okocha (Jay Jay Okocha’s elder brother) and a few others that became the best Super Eagles of 1994

And when the recalcitrant players like Keshi found out that Nigeria survived without them, they became more commited and issued apology to the team and country and their patriotism spiked. That event taught me a leason that in life, learn to let go for certain things to work out

So Stop displaying fear and weakness by trying to cuddle nonsense - Victor must be punished and if he cant take the punishment let him retire from International football, he is not the first to do so and he wont be the last- the world does not revolve around Osimhen

If my favorite player ever and the deadliest and most lethal finisher in world football history - Marco Van Basten could retire at a very young age of 25 because of Injury and the world of football did not stop, then Osimhen can retire from the super eagles and the world of Nigerian football will continue, talents abound in Nigeria - he will not be missed more than 6 months trust me!!!!
Oga you wrote an epistle because of what Osimen did? I want to believe you don't have any personal issue with him
Sports / Re: NFF To Punish Victor Osimhen Over Improper Conduct by chiefolododo(m): 10:53am On Jun 18
I do not think this is the right time to punish anyone. Qualify for world cup first.

Osimen only expressed himself

The local government is not the state government. If the state governors insist on loca government joint account, the federal government should also create and run a joint account with the states.

The national assembly and the president have a lot to do in decimating the power the governors have in this country.Bunch of overfed, lazy people

Politics / I Asked Chatgpt How It Would Govern Nigeria And It Gave A Brilliant Answer by chiefolododo(m): 9:51am On Jun 08
Governance in a complex and diverse country like Nigeria requires a multifaceted approach that addresses its unique challenges while leveraging its strengths. Here’s how I would approach governing Nigeria:

### 1. **Economic Reform and Diversification**
- **Reduce Reliance on Oil:** Diversify the economy by investing in sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and technology. Incentivize local production and reduce import dependency.
- **Promote SMEs:** Support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with favorable policies, access to credit, and infrastructure improvements. SMEs are crucial for job creation and economic stability.
- **Infrastructure Development:** Prioritize infrastructure projects to improve transportation, electricity, and internet connectivity. This will enhance productivity and attract foreign investment [[❞]](https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/05/one-year-in-office-my-govt-walking-the-talk-tinubu/) [[❞]](https://guardian.ng/news/nigeria/opposition-loyalists-bicker-over-tinubus-performance-outlook/).

### 2. **Education and Skill Development**
- **Quality Education:** Invest heavily in education at all levels, ensuring that curricula are updated to meet modern standards and needs. Focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education to prepare the youth for a competitive global economy.
- **Vocational Training:** Develop vocational training programs to equip people with practical skills that match market demands. This will help reduce unemployment and underemployment [[❞]](https://guardian.ng/news/nigeria/opposition-loyalists-bicker-over-tinubus-performance-outlook/).

### 3. **Healthcare Improvement**
- **Universal Healthcare:** Work towards establishing a universal healthcare system that provides basic health services to all Nigerians. This includes building and upgrading healthcare facilities, especially in rural areas.
- **Preventive Care:** Focus on preventive healthcare measures, such as vaccination programs, sanitation, and health education, to reduce the burden of diseases [[❞]](https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/05/one-year-in-office-my-govt-walking-the-talk-tinubu/).

### 4. **Anti-Corruption Measures**
- **Strengthen Institutions:** Empower anti-corruption agencies like the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and ensure their independence from political influence.
- **Transparency and Accountability:** Implement strict transparency and accountability measures in all government dealings. Use technology to track and manage public funds effectively.

### 5. **Security and Justice**
- **Enhance Security:** Invest in modernizing the police and military forces, provide adequate training, and improve intelligence capabilities to combat terrorism, banditry, and other crimes.
- **Judicial Reforms:** Ensure the judiciary is independent and efficient. Speed up the judicial process to ensure timely justice and reduce corruption within the system [[❞]](https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/05/one-year-in-office-my-govt-walking-the-talk-tinubu/).

### 6. **Social Inclusion and Poverty Alleviation**
- **Social Safety Nets:** Develop comprehensive social safety nets to support the most vulnerable populations. This includes direct financial support, food security programs, and affordable housing initiatives.
- **Inclusive Policies:** Ensure that all regions and ethnic groups are fairly represented in government decisions and resource allocations to promote national unity and reduce tensions [[❞]](https://guardian.ng/news/nigeria/opposition-loyalists-bicker-over-tinubus-performance-outlook/).

### 7. **Environmental Sustainability**
- **Climate Action:** Implement policies to mitigate the impacts of climate change. Invest in renewable energy sources and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
- **Conservation Efforts:** Protect Nigeria’s natural resources through conservation efforts and strict regulations against environmental degradation.

### 8. **Good Governance and Civic Engagement**
- **Strengthen Democracy:** Ensure free, fair, and transparent elections. Promote a political culture that values democratic principles and human rights.
- **Engage Citizens:** Foster active civic engagement by creating platforms for citizens to participate in decision-making processes and hold the government accountable [[❞]](https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/05/one-year-in-office-my-govt-walking-the-talk-tinubu/).

### Conclusion
By focusing on these key areas, the goal would be to create a more prosperous, equitable, and stable Nigeria. Building strong institutions, promoting economic diversification, and ensuring the well-being of all citizens are essential steps toward achieving sustainable development.
