Good afternoon everyone
I want to know if Canada embassy accept foreign account sponsorship.
Like i have a brother in US that wants to sponsor my Canada study will it be accepted.

Yes I think it can be accepted.

Let me encourage you with a little portion of my funny story.
In my SOP and Sponsorship Letter, I clearly stated that the entire costs for my study in Canada will be financed by my brother who lives and works in Canada.

My personal GTB account was just having 140,000 Naira (2 months salaries which I didn't even explain). I didn't show any personal money because I don't have.
All the entire POF were just placed on my brother's shoulders, although he showed about $75k CAD as POF Excluding the $9k he already committed and paid as my tuition fee.

Infact, my ppr was just by God's grace and favor.
I believe Every application is unique.
My other friend had about 8M naira in her personal account plus Her sponsors (brother + sister) already in Canada. She was refused for POF reasons.

Just pray for God to control the algorithms to pass your application to a VO that will fall in love with your application and be your divine helper.

Finally, pray pray pray pray fast fast fast fast believe believe believe be positive positive positive. lol
Good luck

Why did they say you cannot go to VAC and collect it yourself?

It's an auto generated response I think.
So probably the IT guru there have not reviewed the auto generated response or edited the key word

My opinion though

Good evening everyone,
I want to apply for software development (diploma course) and they are requesting for transcript which school in Nigeria don't give transcript in person instead they will send it to the school upon request. How will I go about it?

I can remember I had same issue.
Here's what I did bro,

I logged into my 9ja university portal (with computer not phone),
I hit the show result tab,
I downloaded all the pages for the entire 8 semesters.
I merged them into one PDF file

BOOM - unofficial transcript dan set

That was how I got admission.
This is just a suggestion

Landing gist....

Everything from my admission to my arrival in Canada was my first attempt and I thank God for his grace.

My flight departure time was 1:40pm, it was moved to 1:20pm and I didn't know till I arrived at the airport, thankfully I was there 4 hrs to the time. See crowd (people dey really comot naija o) the place be like island market, noisy, ridiculously small, hot and unorganized.
Got in with fam members who came to see me off and firstly the scanner did not work for several minutes.

If I could do this myself, I believe anyone can and I pray that everyone still praying and hoping on God will smile at the end.

See my guy lol
This is beautiful.

Your Landing gist has lightened up my day already.
I wish you the very best bro.

Cheers

Hello folks,
Compliments of the season!!!
I submitted my passport yesterday for stamping, and these are the pertinent questions I have:
1. How many weeks does it take for stamping?
2. Where is the stamping done, Ottawa, Nairobi or Abuja?
Thank you for your anticipated responses!
Regards to all.

1. 0 to 4 weeks (usually within 2 weeks from observations)

2. Abuja

Even though there are no more time limits to when you can arrive, coming in January for a Sept start date is not advisable, the CBSA officers might be wondering what you will be doing for 8 months. In addition, time you will be spending before the start date will incur expenses, are you ready to spend money before even starting the programme?

My advice, no need to travel by Jan, you can go by July.

OK thanks for the response.

I believe I may not have to incure much expenses during the 8 months.
I have a bro I can stay with for the main time.
My major concern is would the cbsa officer like you said allow me in or probably issue me my SP?

Hello,
Can I travel by January if my classes are scheduled to start by September?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by chigozieevans: 8:54am On Dec 28, 2022
Hello Everyone,
Please I need your input on something

My LOA has Jan 4 as 'class start date' on it and was later notified that my class has reached its Max capacity. I know that I am expected to defer. But I am yet to defer because I want to use the LOA (with Jan 4) to cross borders first before I defer to September.

My reasons is that I plan to stay with my big brother @ Calgary until classes start. Since I have little I am doing currently here in Nigeria.

My Question is:
1. Can I travel by late January if my classes would start by Sept 2023?
2. Would they allow me cross over?
3. Would the immigration officer have that time to start checking if I have registered my courses or I defered to September before giving me my study permit?
4. If he gives me my study permit, what date would it carry?

Please assist. Let me not go and travel and they will bounce me back. Thank you.

Good morning NL

Can I still send my E-medical sheet through webform? Or what other ways can I send it.

Hello,
I did an upfront medical on Dec 1st.
IOM sent my Medical results on Dec 2nd.
It was updated to 'Passed' on Dec 12th.

Note:
I did not send any E-medical sheet/slip through email or webform.
IOM Abuja and IRCC did all the uploading on my behalf.

Secondly, is the chances for ppr high if Eligibility review started?
