What I'm wondering is why Theblessed continues to write in such big bold font? Are we the readers blind? or is it the other way 'round? 1 Like |

Kate Beckinsale looks lovely in that dress. Tilda can never do any wrong in my book. She makes androgynous style look GOOD |
Fashion / Re: Define Style In Your Own Words by chika98: 6:56pm On Feb 02, 2012 |
Style is an expession of oneself. It isn't about looking "good" per se. Personal style varies greatly from person to person. What we appreciate in others differs as well. There are some styles that are generally appealing to everyone though and some are just plain ratchet |

Boyfriend jeans are always in season. I rather not chase trends because they come and go. Classic, chic pieces are worth the investment. |

Sagamite: Don't base the society on the very few Nairaland girls Even don't base em off of awon London gbo gbo big girls. Every year I visit, I wonder how the men there cope with all the excessive weave and make up London chics are just a little too extra for an American like me. I enter club the last time and I could've sworn babes were dressed up for some pageant. Perhaps your local church? a library? People you know can introduce you to someone? Across the atlantic here? You sef should be trying jare. There are good women out there that one is for sure. |

September 201212 Also Maggie Smith is so bad arsse. From Sister Act to Harry Potter and now Downtown Abbey. I enjoyed her character a lot |

Sagamite: I think we both know where YOU stand on the issue of marriage so going back and forth is like going around in circles. We share very different views on it. I suppose you're extremely wealthy and would love to keep YOUR money should things go wrong. Good luck with that then |

davidylan: I think you and I will both agree that good men/women are hard to find. Often times, people don't exactly know what it is they're looking for in a mate. Sure everyone likes a good looking woman/ man but not when there isn't a balance. If she's lazy then you can most certainly tell after hanging around her. I strongly believe that people can NEVER hide who they truly are for a long time. Intuition is there for a reason. People see the warning signs early on but they choose to ignore it. Most importantly, if you truly know within your heart what will make you happy and what is essential in a prospective partner then you certainly are on the right path. This is also why i believe mental compatibility is a must. You have be with someone who shares the same core values as yourself. You've worked hard to better yourself and so has she. Put that together and things will always come good. This way you raise responsible adults in the future( assuming you want children) and live a peaceful happy life (ups and downs included) |

naijababe: I wonder the same. It is almost always about my money, what I have to offer her etc. One would think we've got a bunch of millionaires here. |

davidylan: What exactly does this bit mean in plain terms? You've got a good career and she's gonna sit at home whilst you work and pay her bills without the woman contributing a dime? She goes to the bank to rob you? |

Doc Martin season 5 ( Doc Martin is the most stiff unromantic man I've ever seen. Jeez!) Keeping up appearances ( Hyacinth Bucket is the best character ever!) Old British comedies are the best though Last of the summer wine |

tunnytox: Well said! This is it really. Human beings can be so wicked. It is quite sad. Some Nigerians have no shame!!!! This isn't about bashing anyone; it is quite simple. If it is a business transaction then treat it as such. You shouldn't have to beat her up, have your way with her or even treat her badly. Get whatever it is that you want and leave her alone. You lot won't try this with an American woman na. |

I think what really hurts the most is how these men treat the women. Even if it is a business transaction; treat the woman with respect Get whatever it is you want and then let her be. There's really no need to beat her up or treat her like she isn't a human being. |
