Autos / Re: Nairalanders, chelseabmw, Inspired M Please Help Me Ask ICME To Give Me My Car by chippyripp: 1:02am On Aug 29, 2012
AutoMahnn:

@Chelseabmw, while i do not intend to derail from the meat of this thread i feel  it is pertinent to drop a few lines : Your argument above suggests and indeed confirms that your view is very subjective, in other words you are reacting and advising the aggrieved based on your own experience and that of a few others. A moderator should not do that, you need to check for the dictionary meaning of the word 'moderator' and then you can appreciate your responsibilities better. That a man is named Osama does not make him a terrorist, so you should not jump at conclusions hurriedly. I insist that your language is totally unacceptable for a moderator. Nairaland has grown beyond a platform for children only  and as such there must be decency, quality control and respect especially from MODs. Incidentally I read one of your topics titled 'complains, suggestions etc,' where you mentioned that members should be respectful and I wonder how your statement below has shown any sign or semblance of respect:

"@ Automahnn
Can you do me a favour here? Please kindly keep your mouth shut and focus on what you know how to do best? Are you part of the registered car dealers on here?I guess not..please,please and please you guys are all the same. This will put an end to others buying cars from people like you."

In order to give any credibility to your ability as a MOD and put this forum on the right path I demand an apology for your insult above. Also, you have alleged earlier that ICME and I are connected or in collaboration, a statement I consider defamatory, I believe you should have done all your back end checks by now and found those allegations totally untrue and so I demand another apology and retraction of such allegation as well. Your position as a MOD on this platform is like that of a public servant, if you must know, without members here you would have nothing to moderate and so your utterances must be well guided and calculated. You don't throw stones if you live in a glass house. I noticed you banned me after my last post and I'm curious to know why. Was it because of my varying opinion or my offer to help someone in need or my frank treatise? Well let's see what happens now.

@ICME I am sure you still read comments on this thread, I strongly advise that you remain focused in finding the fastest solution to this issue, it is critical that you talk to BOSON as well in order to keep him abreast of your plans towards settlement. There is really no reason to hide, as that will lend credence to the impression expressed by many. You must remain strong and do what is right. If you had genuine intentions towards this transaction from the onset then do not fear any man, only fear God. He will make a way for you and clear your name. Call BOSON and give him a payment plan and then dig deep to see that you fulfill it. If you have to borrow, please do so. My best wishes and prayer are with you.

@BOSON from the experiences shared by Mr. Chelsea, dialogue should be your first tool. Today, nations are reverting to it, US Vs Iran/North Korea/Russia/ Syria etc even recently our own FG Vs Boko H, so it is the right way to go at first. It's a pity you are on the receiving end but I believe all this will work together for your good. God bless you.

Cheers

AutoMann can u just shut up and stop postin thrash its obvious u and ICME are the same people stop trying to derail the thread.Boson I'm sorry to say this but u sounding so uneducated. This dude is a petty criminal.I ‎am going to send u a mail i can help u with military personnel this dude will pay ur money in minutes. But first go and file a report @ a police station. The police will just need to take a court order to the bank u made the payment and to his gsm service provider. His account will provide alternate number he uses and address.Gsm service providers will provide his cordinates.I'm laughing @ ICME him saying what law enforcement will do is to arrange when to pay the money Boson i promise you if u set up a bait and u use military peeps ur money will be out in less dan 10min

Fruittyswaqboii: Pay 10% of the total cost of purchase of your vehicle and get a permanent tracking device. The tracking device offers the following services
- Listen to conversations in the car
- Monitor the speedometer
- Stop the car on command in case of theft
- Location of your vehicle.
Interested? call 08054459965 0r 08164159860 or 08036702331

Very Stupid and ambiguous post.So if i buy a car of 4m i pay 400k for tracking device.do you mean 10% for comprehensive insurance which include vehicle tracking device? CBN has instructed banks to focus solely on banking so all other subsidiaries have been either discontinued or acquired by other companies so nothing like zenith bank insurance.I advice you go for training before calling your self a marketer.

Politics / Re: Democracy Day Church Service: GEJ Refuse To Say "Amen" To Anti-corruption Prayer by chippyripp: 3:56pm On May 28, 2012
Reuben Abati explains why The President didn't say Amen to Anti Corruption Prayer

Abuja– Spokesperson for President Jonathan Ebele Goodluck, Mr Reuben Abati, has responded to accusations that Jonathan and members of his cabal refused to say amen to at this weekend’s democracy day Church Service when the preacher offered a prayerful curse against corruption amongst public officials.

Speaking to reporters, Mr Abati revealed aspects of protocol that are not widely known outside Government circles, and which would explain why Mr President and ministers didn’t say Amen to the prayer by Most Reverend Peter Akinola, committing corrupt politicians to the court of God.

According to him, it is a long standing presidential protocol that during Church or Mosque services, the President only offers a fixed number of amens or amis, as the case may be.

The Reverend had offered many prayers and demanded many amens prior to the contentious one, Abati explained, the result of which was that the day’s quota of amens had been used up.

“Why?” asked the spokesperson, “would President not say amen to a prayer against corruption?”

He advised preachers, pastors, imams etc, to familiarise themselves with government protocol and to also limit the length of their prayers and sermons.

“It is the same people accusing the President of not saying amen to anti-corruption prayer that would be accusing him of favouritism if he had broken with protocol and said more amens than is allowed by constitution,” Abati said.

@AENAIJA
You success story really inspired me. I want to say a big thank you for your advice on this thread i have really learnt alot not just about dealing with car dealers but about life.I have had a similar experience with a car dealer named tadeus on NL.He wanted to use this same technique of quoting ridiculously low price to commit me then start the bait & switch game.In my own case he told me a honda eod was 1.4m (leather v6) with duty to lagos when actually the car will cost about 1.8m.He told me to come with the money to badagry to meet him up and we will buy the car the same day and he will bring it to me the same day lipsrsealed.which i didnt do instead i came with only 200k and i told him we will deposit when i choose the car i want and make payment the next day.Later his words changed suddenly like the weather.to cut the story short i lost about 40k on the 200k,if i had brought the whole money would have been counting more looses.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Gtbank Test by chippyripp: 7:20pm On May 12, 2012
Kockane: Please, let's desist from spreading false information if we're not sure of wat we're saying. Speakin from experience, GTBank picks only d top 0.6% participants for any written test, nufn like cut off. For the person dat claimed to score 80% in the test, was it GTB HR dat sent you such result or you have an insider dat helped you chek cuz GTB usually only sends either a congratulatory message or a message stating dat you didn't meet their criteria, nufn like, "you scored 80%".
After the test, you get invited for a documentation stage where you fill in ur details and on the last page, ur asked to write on ANY current happening within or outside the country. Almost immediately wld the first panel interview hold, then a one-on-one with a top official. Den you proceed for medicals after wich ur training starts.
For tips on how to pass the test, you need to be speedy, accurate and calm. Dey are simple questions 80% of applicants wld pass in otherwise calm situations. But most pple fail cuz dey allow exam tension get the better of dem. Study ur GMAT, SHL and a lil bit of current affairs and ur good.
On the issue of declaration of age, I suggest you try to process a birth certificate from national population commision ASAP. This is naija, grease a coupla palms and you could have urs in a coupla hours! GTB doesn't accept affidavits, an authentic birth certificate, means of identification like voters card, drivers licence, international passport, etc... And one oda tin: AGE. Maximum age is 26 years 10 months, anyfn above that, ur out.
All the very best to all the applicants in the house. One love.

Dude wots false information that ii scored 80%.The test ii wrote in lagos a week ago was at their training school it was computer based and not a written test.the cut off mark Ȋ̊§ 60% and u see your score immediately u finish the test.u get a break down of how many u attempted, wot you scored and the percentage. Dude its ur own information dat sounds incorrect so if 100 people write the test they only pick six people Ȋ̊§ dat not waste of resources and time how about if more dan o.6% score the highest which Ȋ̊§ let's say 80 will they now pick random 0.6% when definetly some peeps will get screened during the intervie process. If during anoda bath of 100 the highest score Ȋ̊§ 70% will they now accept 0.6% of these people at the expense of the people that scored 80% in the previous batch.Think.....
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Gtbank Test by chippyripp: 9:00am On May 11, 2012
I wrote the test a week back and scored 80% the test is very very easy. They ask elementary maths that all primary school leaver should pass. For instance in a class of 200 students a third passed how many students failed.Their verbal too is very easy like out of this group of word a b c d which word those not belong to this group. They also ask current affairs and shapes.Like me i guessed all the shape question cos dey kill time.Use ur strength to augment for ur weakness.I only had my coy ID so i was not allowed for the next stage i had to bring my DL the next day for the second stage. You will write an essay during the second stage.Good Luck.......

Why wait to see my price when u can call to get quick feedback.I sell Honda ATF DW-1 for a friendly rate of just 4500 naira for One quart bottle so i don't encourage people to reduce the life span of the Tranny by using substandard fluid.I might give a slight discount depending on the volume of your order.i source the ATF from local Honda dealers in the states at much more than your stated price considering buying online and incurring local shipping charges.Considering the weight and air freight 4500 is affordable.
