Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How True Is The Construction Supervisor Job In Burkina Faso by Christabelnwa: 9:08pm On Apr 18
cornelin:
Do not listen to him. They are a group of job racketeering syndicates who lure unsuspecting victims with a fathom job offer.

There is no construction supervisory role for you anywhere. If you pay the money and go there eventually, you'll discover that it is a high level scam.

When you go there, that is when the truth will be revealed to you that you've been unknowingly recruited as a QNET agent to continue scamming other people with promise of a job just like you were scammed!

If I were you, I will give that your friend a piece of my mind, delete and ban his number totally and use small change out of the 1.8M to eat better Nkwobi as a celebration for saving myself from the wolf's laire

I agree with you about not falling for fake job offers and losing money. But it's strange to blame QNET for this. I heard them on the radio warning people about job scams and telling them to report any scams to the police. It seems like they're working with the authorities to stop people from using their name for bad things.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Job Offer Without Basic Salary But On Performance. Is It Worth Travelling Far? by Christabelnwa: 12:58pm On Oct 12, 2023
My advice to you is to conduct thorough research about QNET. QNET offers a business opportunity, which is direct selling, and not a job opportunity like you have stated here. Meaning that you wouldn’t be earning based on salary but rather based on sales you make of products.

QNET offers high-quality lifestyle and wellness products that are loved by its customers worldwide. These products are sold via the e-commerce platform, which means, distributors can do business from anywhere and at their own pace. Also, the company offers all sorts of tools and training to support their network of distributors to ensure that they have the right information and support system to build their direct selling business.

So, like I have said earlier, do your research and contact the real QNET. You can visit their official website, qnet.net, for further information. God bless you and your endeavours.

Eddodoh:
I am currently considering a job opportunity with QNET. But where i have issue is about the pay.

I was told that no basic salary. I will be paid base on my performance i.e. sales i am able to make as it's a direct sales role. Moreso, i live in one of the Norther states and i will need to travel to the job location in the south west.

My fear, what if i am unable to meet the performance benchmark? How do i cope in a far away location?

Pls, advise.
Sports / Manchester City Football Empowerment by Christabelnwa: 2:04pm On Jul 21, 2023
In May, the city of Abeokuta witnessed a groundbreaking event as the Manchester City Football Camp, organized in collaboration with QNET, took place. This initiative aimed to empower young football enthusiasts, giving them a unique opportunity to develop their skills, learn from expert coaches, and experience the spirit of the beautiful game.

The Manchester City Football Camp in Abeokuta showcased the dedication of both Manchester City and QNET to nurturing talent and promoting sportsmanship. It created a platform for young athletes to grow, gain confidence, and discover their potential on and off the field. The event fostered a sense of community, bringing together passionate football players and enthusiasts. It highlighted the importance of teamwork, discipline, and resilience, values that are crucial not only in football but also in life.

Together, they made a positive impact, inspiring the next generation of football stars, and contributing to the sport's growth in the country.

Art, Graphics & Video / Is Art Fully Appreciated In Nigeria? by Christabelnwa: 3:16pm On May 31, 2023
Nigeria is full of artistic people; in fact, Nigeria itself is Art. Art has always played an important role in our culture, history and development as a nation. However, while some people appreciate art and its significance, others do not. Lately, some art galleries in Lagos have been gaining traction. There has been a growing appreciation and recognition of art in Nigeria, with more art exhibitions, festivals, and galleries being established.

This has increased awareness and appreciation of Nigerian art locally and internationally. However, there is still a need for more efforts to be made to educate and promote the value of art in Nigeria. There should be more investment in art education and the preservation of Nigeria's rich cultural heritage through the promotion of art. Recognising and appreciating art as a vital aspect of Nigeria's identity and heritage is essential. Through this recognition, the country can continue to grow and thrive culturally and economically.

Religion / Religious Tolerance And Coexistence In Nigeria by Christabelnwa: 3:03pm On Apr 27, 2023
Religious tolerance and coexistence in Nigeria is an important topic that has gained much attention this year. With a roughly split population between Christianity and Islam, there is a great need for understanding and mutual respect between the two groups.

While there have been instances of conflict between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria, there are also many examples of peaceful coexistence and interfaith collaboration. For instance, Christian and Muslim leaders in Kaduna have formed a peace committee to resolve conflicts and promote understanding between the two communities. This shows that while religious differences can sometimes lead to conflict, there is also great potential for understanding and cooperation when people of different faiths come together with respect and empathy.

Business / Why You Can Trust QNET by Christabelnwa: 3:31pm On Mar 03, 2023
I have been a loyal customer of QNET. We all can trust the company. The company offers unique products ranging from beauty, wellness, lifestyle and education. I am confident being a customer of the organisation because I know very well that they are a member of the Direct Selling Association. This is a self-regulatory body with stringent rules and codes of conduct in several countries.

Thousands of people worldwide have put their trust in QNET to become entrepreneurs. They’ve been in business since 1998 and have a global footprint through offices in more than 25 countries and customers in nearly 100 countries. QNET is open and transparent about its business model and operations and ensures compliance with the local laws of all the countries it operates. They sponsor several high-profile sporting organisations, such as the Manchester City Football Club and the Confederation of African Football.
All the information you need to make an informed choice about QNET is available online at https://www.qbuzz.QNET.net/rumours-controversies-and-is-it-a-scam-question/, including any rumours and controversies, its products, and so much more.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Just Received An Interview Notification From QNET. Can I Trust It? by Christabelnwa: 5:01pm On Feb 14, 2023
QNET doesn’t offer jobs ooo!!; this post already answered that. Visit the website that the post included to find out more. Also, visit https://www.qbuzz.qnet.net/rumours-controversies-and-is-it-a-scam-question/; it helped me answer a lot of questions I had about the legitimacy of the company.

Surjay1988:

I also received the invitation from one of this guy claiming they're working with QNET, when I got to their office. At first I thought it was a job offer because I asked the guy that told me about it about the salary and he said over #170,000 to 200k per month. So when it get to my turn the guy call me and started telling me about business, if I put in #600,000 to get one of the product automatically I've Creat profile with them, and I'll be pay in $ every week and I can order anything directly, I won't have to pay for transportation because the company partners with DHL and other transport companies. It look like scam already, job offer to business offers, it really not clear at all. I'll really like it if I can get the real thing this QNET do.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 300k Per Month: Is This Pharmacy Job In Ogun State Real? by Christabelnwa: 1:42pm On Jan 25, 2023
I love this comment!
Most of the comments I’ve seen just keep mentioning QNET when there is obviously no relationship between QNET and the post made cos the poster only referred to a pharmacy that recruits. I went through the website of the link you shared, and I’ve gotten so much information. It's sad that a company's good name is spoiled because people are not well-informed.

Mariamojo:
But, guy, QNET is not even relevant to this post; it is neither a pharmaceutical nor recruitment company, so you being so sure that they are the company being referred to here isn’t correct. If you had done your research on google correctly, you’d know this.

I’m sorry you were almost duped, but it doesn’t mean it was QNET. next time rather than using the name of a legitimate company, say something like ‘people who use the name of Qnet’. Nairaland / General / Giving Back To Society During The Festive Season by Christabelnwa: 11:34am On Jan 19, 2023
I have been pondering over ways I can give back to the community since I could not do so during the festive season. We all can do more than spread holiday cheer by offering cleaning services, clothes, food, money and other necessities to put a smile on families that did not enjoy the holidays as we did.

When gifting anyone, I suggest shopping more from a brand that packages its products with sustainable, recyclable materials, like QNET. We do not need to buy or make extraordinary donations. Sometimes it's in the little things, like not littering in public places when we hang out with friends or family and recycling waste materials to help reduce the filth in our towns; fortunately, in Lagos, there is the advent of recycling bins at strategic points.

I have decided to give some cash out to disabled people on the streets at least once a week.
What are your thoughts on giving?

I was a victim, the name of the company is QNET.... this was same method used to trick to ghana making me resign my fintech job of 210k... Urs is even better na nigeria... Guy no even try near there.... because shishi u no go see and they will enslave u mentally that u will forget any sensible part of urself..... If u know anybody close to ur friend like his dad or mom let them start prayer and fasting for him.... It's a bring ur two and let it two sell there two kind of business..... Most of the people in nigeria and ghana in Qnet have gone back home to start afresh...

QNET is a leading direct-selling company that is part of the QIGroup of Companies. It was founded in 1998 by two businessmen, Vijay Eswaran and Joseph Bismark.
The brand was first called Gold Quest and then Quest Net, later shortened to QNET in 2010.
The company has locations in Asia, Europe and Africa, providing customers with products ranging from beauty, wellness, lifestyle and education.

Unfortunately, the brand has faced a lot of controversies since its existence because some scammers have taken advantage of their direct selling model to exploit others for their wealth. I found all this information by researching online about the brand, and we all need to do the same to help us know them better.

Ezejohnbull:
ps how can I get the real Qnet so I can report this people collecting money from people I have someone insulting me that am not serious in my life that I should come and join but have refused

It feels very good to know I am not in this alone. You were right to reject the offer to join them and your decision and courage to go against these scammers and expression of interest to know how to contact the real brand is very admirable.

You will need to visit their official website, at https://www.qnet.net/ to get to know about their services or contact their hotline email: global.support@qnet.net to inquire more about the Independent Representative trying to introduce you to the brand. You could also report people who are into these fraudulent acts to the same link or find out more about how to become a good IR from there.

As someone who has been purchasing from QNET online for some time, I know the company is dedicated to making an impact in the world, by offering products ranging from beauty, lifestyle, wellness and education.
Their operations are quite diverse and their products and services go beyond Africa, Asia and Europe. One thing I am certain of is that they inspire people to become entrepreneurs, by being Independent Representatives of the company. The representatives distribute products from QNET via their ecommerce platform.

However, scammers are taking advantage of this narrative to build business for themselves and satisfy their selfish desires. Therefore, we all should be vigilant and report these fraudsters whenever we are approached.
Nigerian youth need to adopt this attitude and together we can curb the operations of these impersonators.

My sixpence. I hope it helps you.

Jobs/Vacancies / Is QNET Really A Recruitment Agency? by Christabelnwa: 3:57pm On Nov 09, 2022
My little checks about this company after reading several posts here don’t seem to refer to them as one.
Once this basic fact is wrong, it tells there is certainly some miscommunication or impersonation of the brand somewhere.
The first thing that welcomes you to their website is a warning of the fact that you should be aware of fake job offers people make in their name and I copied this as well network.integrity@qnet.net which I noticed is an email you can contact in case someone offers you a job in the name of QNET.
So far, my understanding of their operations goes like this; say you had a good meal at a restaurant and you refer someone to it; they refer others to it too, and the restaurant flourishes due to these referrals of which you had been the originator, yet no one acknowledges you for it.

QNET uses direct selling; where they reward you for your referrals to others, reviews, and testimonies that made others purchase their products directly from their website store (e-commerce)
As an E-commerce company, which means they do not have physical shops or stores but will deliver bought products to you when you buy online, they rely on independent representatives (IRs) as their marketers or business development officers to expand their brand.
Once an IR can get others to purchase products directly online from them, the company then pays them the commission they otherwise would've added to the product and sold to the customer, who could also decide to just buy an item from the website once and not tell anyone about it.
Recruitment agencies, on the other hand, are external firms that are dedicated to finding suitable candidates for specific positions for other companies or employers. These agencies usually work with different companies with vacant positions and recruit people by searching for qualified candidates to fill the identified jobs. They are then charged a small amount as training fees for the jobs.

QNET does not perform any recruitment process because it is not a recruitment agency. They sell to customers worldwide online and give Independent Representatives the opportunity to promote their products. Through the concept of Independent Representatives, QNET continues to inspire entrepreneurs to build their own businesses.
