A friend of mine checked his own as batch C he was shortlisted but on the screening side he was asked to take the test... why?
I thought before shortlisting you that you must have done the test, so he is confused of what to do.

I got my student visa last year June using a school in NL of which I deferred the admission to September fall 2022 as a result of visa delay. On September 2021, I wrote to the admission officer she told me that there admission portal was not open yet cos the portal was showing *Fall 2021*, i had to wait patiently for the site to open till on Jan 31st 2022, I checked the site still showing same *Fall 2021* So I wrote to her asking if they portal is open yet....Surprisingly, she told me that they site has been open since Nov 2021 telling me that there was an error in there site... the annotation *Fall 2021* as indicated in the site was meant to be showing *Fall 2022* in the portal. Which means the portal has been open all they while�‍♂️ So when I tried applying I saw that the program I wanted was filled up and she told me that she some of the programs are already filled up that I she will put me on the waiting list....Now they school has closed admission for this year on my choice of program and from the look of things there is no hope of getting admission till next year 2023.

I want to know if I can apply other schools and use it to process my admission even though I used the school to secure a visa....Will I be allowed to travel using a different school admission letter other than the one I used to secure my student visa?

Any possibility or suggestion on what to do here ?

Have you been requested for medical from ircc? If No, when you applied you could have equally book your medical same period.
Anyways, the surest n fastest is to still book appointment now in the preceding months available cos there is no ideal time for booking...just book for the slot available in any month ahead.

My advice is book for the following month ahead and go to Qlife and cry to them that your school is resuming soon, if they could fix you in any of the days that slots is unavailable. Cos that is what I did during my medical, I booked ahead but went and pleaded with there Madam incharge and she looked at my innocent face and fixed me up. So it all depends on your pleading techniques tho.

You can try IOM, go with your money early morning b4 6am you are there and once you enter dey gate....first come first serve.

Mine took 4days to be update. I did mine at iom and it’s on medical request not upfront medical

I did mine at Qlife...it took 14days to get updated, so I think it all depends which clinic the medical is done.

Qlife seem slower from my observation

Not true. Mine was updated on the 3rd day. IOM, upfront medical.

You have to check for your gckey portal, when your medical is updated, you will see it in your portal.

Normally it takes 2weeks for IRCC to update it....so one week is early...keep checking in the upper weeks.

No... high blood pressure is never ncluded in medical result to be sent to IRCC.

So just chill and relax your mind, I experienced same too..

You just have to take care of your Hbp, nothing concerns IRCC with your Hbp.

Stamped Passport don't exceed 7 working days...I paid 4500 for two way courier. Passport are not scheduled by DHL or vfs...once you sent it they next day vfs will notify you via mail that the Passport is received and that from that day to 6days you will receive your passport if everything goes well.

I sent my passport via DHL to Abuja. But I was only charged 6940. I don't think this is for two-way courier. (Passport is scheduled to be delivered on December 30).

It takes 7days only... you will receive a mail as to the update on your stamped passport, they courier service you use will put a call to you and deliver it to ur door step that is if you did a 2way courier. Once your passport is stamped your application page will be updated to Approved!

If you did your Biometrics in Abj and you want to send your passport to VFS in Abuja.... you will only have to pay DHL 2way(to and fro) fee which should not exceed 4k. In my own case i paid 4k only in 7days my stamped passport was brought to my location. So yours shouldn't exceed that since is still going same state.

Because the DHL Staffs I met today said it’s 8100 to take it to Abuja and 8100 to bring it back directly to my house, which is a total of 16200.
So I was quite surprised because I didn’t know people pay that much for courier fees
So I just want to make sure I do the right thing the right way

You can only apply via a recognised agent from the school. Visit the school site, you will see a link to check recognised agents in Nigeria who you can contact.
