@ Semid4lyfem u and i are saying the same thing theres nothing wrong with going to school in canoe is nature. Besides am from the river area and is our own motor and we are proud to own one and we love swimming and diving deep water, ocean, seas etc. during our interhouse sport we do canoe regatta for entertainment. So pls let them go to school in canoe is not for ever but they will benefit from it just like me.

Now am taking some international training for diving in Europe and will get back to my people to teach my experience. How far/

Theres nothing wrong with going to school in canoe its for service just like a car! I did it too during my youth days we use to have our own canoe and paddle where ever we like to go in our community. We were champions in swimming competition and represented towns and villages and also in the city we enjoyed swimming and won lot of prizes becos of our up bringing. Those kids u see on BBC report are enjoying paddling canoe, going for fishing etc while other kids cannot do. its the way of life for the river people its very good for the youth to know how to paddle and swim before they grow older i wonder how many of us here nairalanders can swim or paddle canoe like those kids? or even go close to a river i doubt very few. In my own opinion, BBC is not mocking in the end they are good divers and life savers thro this way of life everything is not government lets enjoy nature too hmmm  

This situation is very common world wide and is the life style of those from the river area such as the Bayelsa people, even in Italy venes where the city is built on top of water they have their own water taxi, market boat etc the canoe was there before we were born and it will stay for ever even if government provide us with love boats i still love canoe and enjoy paddling it when ever i come across one and for ur information am a swimming coach becos of my experience like those kids! abi i make sence?

Dear Dr. many thanks for Ur contact and co-operations on this forum. My problem is my wife she had been suffering from fibroid with nearly all the symptoms for some yrs now. Last month in europe there was a boat regatta the sailing boats were as old as 100yrs from different europe countries everything was perfect the boats were breath taken.
