Wonderful writeup. I can definitely relate to some references in your article. Some AA believe Africans are taking up their jobs, have no regard for them and think they are lazy. At the same time, I think without the AA efforts and struggle, Africans won't enjoy the rights and opportunities provided to them today. We are one race. We need to start working together to advance our interests or perish together because other race hate our skin color. That's a fact AA Means - (African Americans) 69 Likes 2 Shares |

sisipelebe: Spouse visa. |

Let me start by saying US visa is a privilege and not by right. Hence, you should understand that you can't control the outcome but only to prepare yourself and mind that the visa approval is by chance 50/50. It is very possible (prepare well for the interview) but not guaranteed (have that mindset because the outcome is beyond your own control). This is coming from someone that was denied non-immigrant visa four times before I applied under the immigrant category and I am now living happily in NY. That's my two cent. 8 Likes |

Buhari, Atiku, Obj and all those old folks failed our generation. Nigeria youths need to sit up tight and take control. I don't want to fail our next generation. Do something meaningful and impactful for Nigeria... Wake up Nigerians!!! 4 Likes |

My Nairalanders, I need your opinion/advise on a particular matter. Early this year, I bought Lexus RX330 and used it for a month before leaving Nigeria. Before I left, I removed the battery, locked the vehicle and covered it with a car cover to protect it from the sun UV rays. I brought the car keys with me, didn’t leave it to anyone. Last month, a relative called to inform me that there are molds/moulds everywhere in the vehicle and even sent pictures and this got me worried. They suggested that I should send the key as to clean the vehicle. Due to my fear, I sent the extra key to them, not the original with remote buttons. Today, the relative told me they were unable to open the car with the extra key. While we were discussing, someone mentioned that the pair can only open the safe, this doesn’t make any sense to me. I did a few google search and got nothing tangible, they were mostly talking about key FOB and so on. Nairalanders, can you please let me know if you have experienced such OR/AND do you have any idea on why the extra key won't open the car. Thanks…. |

Hello guys. I have some estate property and other vital documents which I'd like to keep safe. I currently don't live in Nigeria and so all the documents are kept in the hands of my Uncle. But it has occured to me lately that I may be making the wrong choices and I'm very worried now. I'd like to collect the documents from my uncle and keep it at a safe place but the question now is where? I have tried to keep the documents in couple of banks when I came home last year but I was told that they don't offer such services. Can you please advise on where such documents are safe to keep? |

It is ready sad that Nigerians decided to give this man a chance to govern at a very old age. This president has perfect hatred for corruption and he is ready to kill it at all cost. For any country to grow economically , corruption must give way. How I wish he is much younger and has all the strength to carry on for the next 8 yrs! Nigeria would have become a model for all other African countries under his leadership. A great president!! 82 Likes 7 Shares |
