Helghast: Seleka rebels wiped your ass big time!! “This time we can anticipate heavy weapons support both from South African units and from their SADC partners. Therein lies the second point. Tanzania is actually doing a lot of the heavy lifting for the FIB. Its commander, Brigadier General James Aloizi Mwakibolwa has decades of command experience, and is well-suited for this kind of campaign. Beyond this, the Tanzanians are bringing an artillery company, Special Forces and a host of other useful detachments that will be valuable in locating and destroying M23. In total, Tanzania's bringing about 1,300 troops to this fight, actually making them the lead actors in the operation. Mike..ZA: The African National Congress in Tanzania "After taking power in Tanzania, Nyerere became one of the architects for the formation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) and remained an ardent supporter of the continent’s liberation struggles. Tanzania provided facilities for liberation movements such as the African National Congress (ANC), Pan Africanist Congress (PAC), the Zimbabwe African People’s Union (ZAPU), the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU), the South West African People’s Organisation (SWAPO), FRELIMO and the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), and allowed them to operate from its soil. In addition, the Tanzanian government allowed the organisations to use Radio Tanzania to broadcast messages to their respective countries. In the aftermath of the Sharpeville Massacre, the government banned the ANC and the PAC in South Africa. The ANC then sent Frene Ginwala to Tanzania with instructions to establish an office in Dar-es Salaam, and await further communication. Once in the country, she worked as a journalist while carrying out work for the ANC, which included receiving comrades arriving in Dar-es Saalam. Meanwhile, in 1960 the party instructed Oliver Tambo to clandestinely leave the country and establish offices for the movement in exile. He was also authorised to seek international support for the struggle against apartheid. Tambo skipped the country through Bechuanaland, in a car driven by Ronald Segal. Once in Bechuanaland he contacted Frene Ginwala, who made arrangements for a plane to fly Tambo, Dr Yusuf Dadoo and Segal to Dar-es-Salaam. Upon arrival they were welcomed by Julius Nyerere, and from that time Tanzania became an important point of contact and transit for the ANC in exile." you can go through the link and read more for yourself: http://www.sahistory.org.za/topic/umkhonto-wesizwe-mk-exile?page=8 I look at you as a fool because you seem to know nothing about history. Malawi was darling of apartheid while Angola was under Portuguese at that time. Only after it was liberated its when ANC opened camps in Angola while the biggest military base of ANC was still in Tanzania. You are talking about Zimbabwe fighting with rebel group such as UNITA!! really Do you know how many wars has Tanzania fought?? "What the people of Tanzania have given to us can never be measured in monetary terms. Nor can it be quantified. It was from Tanzania and many other countries that we executed many military campaigns against apartheid South Africa. Most importantly, it was with the moral and material support of the Tanzanian people that we managed to defeat apartheid." these are words of your president Jacob Zuma read: http://www.thepresidency.gov.za/pebble.asp?relid=4512&t=79 1 Like |

When it comes to hardcore, elite human beings, nothing can top military special forces units. Shows us what these incredible teams from around the world look like, and exactly zero of them appear to be anyone you'd ever want to mess with if you value your life. The facepaint on the Peruvian men might be the most intense I've ever seen. These are the world’s most elite military teams. They’re highly trained, best equipped and well-prepared fighting units specializing in surgical military operations, from ending a hostage situation swiftly to stealthily eliminating top terrorists. Yeah, pity the fools who get on the wrong side of any of these elite fighting forces. Please keep in mind that this fascinating list is in no particular order. We just hope you enjoy this one. Sadly, only Tanzania in Africa made it in the list. 1. US Navy SEAL 2. British SAS 3. Huntsmen Corps : Danish Special Forces 4. French Special Forces 5.
