Suddenly all the ghost followers have come to flesh with the realisation that there's now lil to zero information - after having soaked up so much and giving back nothing. Now forced to register on the thread and throw caution to the wind with blatant postings of pins on thread to get "in" on the action on bbm. Most will likely migrate to the group(s) and continue to observe with little to zero contributions.... #interesting

At biggest tax is this verified information? quite a handful of companies pay more than NLNG at entry level.

dane15:

That is why, I said jokingly that what if someone meets his/her Manager at the Meat and Twerk party?

If you check current recruitment trends in some organizations, to be a Manager, you need about 5 years experience.

Some guys already had minimum of 2 years experience before they submitted their resumes and I will not be surprised if some are already Managers where they are.

Some also have plum jobs, judging by my AC experience and just want to experience working for the world class company that pays the biggest tax in Sub-saharan Africa while enjoying that bus stop feeling that comes with knowing that there are very few career alternatives left that is if there is any better place. This is the only feeling that can cure some people's love for job hopping.

So if NLNG will be a demotion by the time it comes, it is one some will gladly accept.

Oh whao! You can already apply for leave less than 3 months after resumption?!

forkadict:

Of course your dates have fallen short of the three week notice and I can not make it. I gave that timing cos I have already applied for a few days off in the last weekend in April subject to approval.

lol so it's now April not March anymore issit?

cashme28:

This is true o.

From kaitung's last post, resumption in Q3 means anytime from July. This means mails cld most likely come 'sometime in April' (providing a 3 months gap for medicals, documentations and notice to current employers).
So this leaves us with any saturday within the next 3 weeks.

Suggestions gidi people...

COngratulations on you new job airsaylongcon

airsaylongcon:
At all... Thanks. I can't start delving into d specifics but it seems I've been headhunted. Apparently the CEO of big pond was very impressed with my experience that she felt I will best serve the bathtub that is struggling with their operations. Bathtub CEO was so keen for me to start immediately but I chose to "yet him" (post him) so that I don't come across as cheap/desperate. I know I will work with them but na how to free myself from current boss now na be d koko. Cos the guy will be stunned to d centre of his bone marrow

Everyone talking about the first salary the first salary! 2 plus years recruitment! Should it all be about the money?! Some people already earn big at the moment besides it's not like NLNG will pay 20m mil! Let them do the needful. Gosh since November 2013!!

Taofaj4u:
Let us all be patient cos at the end anyone that make it will forget all he/she might have gone through as soon as they hammer you the first salary cool cool cool

He should have been asked to clarify, seeing as he said he was misconstrued and not lampooned.

Informer @tygrins proceed to clarify...

Djbaka:

Do you 'understand' the message the informer was trying to pass across?

Easy easy! Ya'll will ask for information on one hand and then drive away the sources when they do give whatever information they have been privy to. That an information is "wrong" doesn't mean it really is, you have probably misunderstood the message the informer was trying to pass across.

Dfavouredone:

We all know NLNG will get to us "SOON", so you have given no info here. A cessation of your obscure info will really be helpful.

So from next week Monday up until 28th of March (7 Mondays) we should get the final verdict...

artmedia:
Well, just got off the phone with the 'little sauce' and she sort of corroborated what our pastor(s) have been preaching to the congregation for some days now. Says preparations are being made for us to get the call we've been yearning for this Q1. Resumption however should be Q2/Q3. She sounded really certain that we should get the feedback sometime soon, but did not mention anything about independence or narrow being the way. lol. I really hope this is true and those Q3/Q4 talks be laid to rest.

Whatever happens, #WeWait, and as my brother @ItsTime4me will say, me sef believe in Jah's undeserved kindness, and @Ceetee will say, As always Father, let your will be done.

Shalom...
