samieiyke: like everyone else I've been using airtel bis on my phone for a while... I came across a code for checking available data bundle (*141*11*0#) which I have been using. I got another code recently (*123*10#) which I have also tired but the results have always been different. I not that it's preventing me from browsing or anything, I just want to understand why and which one to believe. here is a my screenshot of both results.

I tried it too,,I used *141*11*0# and it gave ne my data balance in (gb) but *123*10# gave me my data balance in (mb) which was correct when I converted it and I noticed this when browsing with a bb not android. Pls check with both phones.

When I inserted my Airtel sim last night, it showed the 3G signal close to the battery meter and I was able to use Whatsapp on it. But I found out this morning that the 3G signal is gone and to check account balance takes like forever. I also seem not to be able to access the Access Point Name application again because when I click it I just see a blank page. Please what can I do to get the phone working perfectly?

bro I guess u have a prob with ur fone. D apn is in d fone settings and not being able to access I means It's d fone that's faulty. 4 d 3G signal, means no 3G signal in ur area. Try changing ur location to be sure cos mine works 100% well @ ikeja and I use BB desktop softeware on lappy with my BB.

bro,,, seems u r new to bus? Mtn isn't unlimited. They have a data cap of 2.5gb. D message states u have exhausted ur data cap. Just buy recharge card of N100 and flex.

airtel isn't totally unlimited as d name implies. U have 2gb for 1,500 which u need to activate with 10mb @ N100. U also have weekly and daily for N100 and is 82mb. 4 d monthly,,It's *440*16# and daily is *440*18#. Guys I tested etisalat bis on ma galaxy S2 annd it worked so try using their daily bis plan to test run on ur fones to be 100% sure. As 4 me,,am using etisalat cos I get 3gb 4 1k

don't change the apn to blackberry.net,,leave it @ the default apn. Just deavtivate ur subscription and texting deavtivate to airtel cc,,,and then load N100 and buy 10mb. You'll now have 2.1gb and that will activate it.

have u used playstore before? What's the error message? Maybe u need to deactivate ur subscription,,load airtel N100 4 10mb and try cos my airtel downloads from playstore with or wout droidvpn. You can also try other free vpn lilke Hide ninja.

Yes it does 100%. U can test run it by subscribing to any bis plan from daily at N100(*440*18#) which xpires at 12midnight to unlimited for N1500. Check the airtel website for more details of data plans.airtel N100 BIS daily plan has a data cap of 82mb,,better than any other plan. Glo daily is 195mb at N500 so spend wisely..after subscribing,,check ur mb by dialing *123*10#

I use it on a bb cos it stopped working on my android but with the use of the blackberry desktop software,,I browse on my laptop via my bb connection.

If u wanna download movies,,use the Mtn weeklyn costs N499 (N500 apprxymtly)and u get 2.5gb, times 4 weeks that's about N2000 and u get 2.5gb x 4 =10gb. Mtn gives d same 2.5gb data cap for both weekly and monthly subscriptions.
