As for Clichy, he doesn't do anything that Sagna/Eboue/Gibbs don't do. Infact when it comes to trying to keep the ball after making an interception, Gibbs is the worst of all 4 FBs. The problem with Clichy is mainly that he doesn't do it as well as the three others whats worse however like others have pointed out is that he gets no help from Arshavin when the latter plays on th left while our RBs get help from Nasri,Rosicky and even Theo.

I don't think though that the solution is to boot him or any of the defenders out. I still think even if we had the top defenders in the world at Arsenal, we will still face same issues. TV showed us last season he is a very good CB but we still conceeded 41 goals. Feel free to blame it on the GK.
