zoedew:
For years now, Prof Barth Nnaji has shown capacity to help Nigeria overcome her electricity infrastructure challenges and recently proved this with the recent commissioning of the Geometric Ltd IPP that is set to provide 24/7 power to Ava in SE Nigeria. President Tinubu is urged to walk the talk by inviting Prof Barth Nnaji to be the Federal Minister of Power. Just so he demurs at doing so Governor Sanwo-Olu will do well to invite the Prof to help Lagos out in the matter. FDI will fall head over heels to have just a pie of the Lagos electric power business with a focused driver of Nnaji's pedigree in the driver's seat.

This X 100. I remember the abundance of electricity when he was minister back then.

It is weak to use what happens to others are a yardstick to limit your own life

But anyway it is also wise to know what works for you.

A GOOD wife is rare and only few ever find her.

Are you a good HUSBAND?

Have you met people who enjoy their marriages after many years? Before you concluded?

Please be balanced so you don't generalize.

If the part you have chosen suits you, then avoid sex and focus and may God give you grace to remain strong

I agree with some of what you said but your first statement. That is prudence not weakness.

I am glad Nigerians are waking up. Keep it up guys. Now we have to unite by setting our religious and tribal sentiments aside so that we can make Nigeria the giant of Africa again.

To the ones that want to remain ignorant, receive sense before it is too late for all of us.

I have never seen Honda leg pulled abroad or are we having a different Honda in Africa?

It is a combination of very bad roads, used/inferior car parts and of course the quack mechanics.

colonialism ended over 60 years ago in most African countries. Why have they not developed or progressed since then 🙄

Your comments show that you are very aware.

OP on the other hand, does not understand what generational trauma is. He doesn’t know what racism and having the system stacked against your entire generation means.

African Americans are set up for failure. I am glad OP compared them with the blacks in the UK whose generation were not enslaved for 400 years.

Don’t do it! If you go to my profile, you will see that I sold mine in 2020. The parts are so expensive, it is not a rugged brand that is fit for Nigerian roads and mechanics will kill you with misdiagnosis of simple problems.

One thing I really don't like is the way some blacks consistently moan about racism, the idea that whites must like them and validate them is sickening.

The Jews at some point were regarded as the filth of the earth, mostly poor, were seen to have no real economic value, they were hated so much that a regime wanted to exterminate all of them. Over 70 years after the holocaust, the Jews are in all centres of power in the US, in wall street, silicon valley, US congress, billionaires, heads of major corporations, TV etc. They didn't seek validation, they got better educated, got more skilled and the rest they say is history.

It is that mindset that blacks need to cultivate, Tyler perry was motivated to build his own studio, if they aren't going to invite you to the table, build your own table.

Who cares if they don't like you; Opportunities abound, harness those opportunities like the Jews did and give back to your community.

But Tyler Perry can still get shot in a traffic stop by a cop that does not know him.

Tyler Perry can get discriminated against by a doctor that does not know him.

Tyres was embarrassed at a Target store the other day by a cashier who Tyres can probably dash 10k usd without breaking a sweat.

I hope the video below will change your perspective.

Dude speak for your self? Where are you? Thats what we need to know, secondly just as a Nigerian lady or guy prefer to mingle with their own people is the same way these other races prefer theirs, there arw just few exceptions, that being said an average nigerian guy is rude, once a girl is smiling u think the next thing is to get into her pant, Africans dont know how to dress, alot of them have a smell, i can go on. So trust me when i say if u only smell good, you dont even need to look good to get you one. Somebody, that hasnt used more than 3 years abroad just came to spew shit, my son has all white friends male and females, the females would go drag their parents to come meet my son, they droll over him, because if that their parents want to be our friends, he is gentle, kind, takes initiative, dresses good and dont look like he did not sleep at home. The probabilty of him ending with a white girl is so high.

White people smell much worse than Africans. An average Nigerian bathes once a day, while some oyinbos go days without bathing.

You are completely spot on!... Opportunities for recruiters right now in the market is crazy! I have literally changed jobs 5 times in 10 months of being here and each of theses firms gave me something higher at each movements. While it is commonly known that job hopping isn't a good idea on one's resume, these firms just don't care, they approach you even when they know you just moved to a new place and promise heaven and earth to get you. What's my own, I will Kuku take their offer and move, erase the previous company from my resume.. Lolz.

This is how crazily competitive the market is right now. Every company is struggling to get and retain talents... Hence, why I said the country need immigrants. Just one or two years of not actively allowing people in and the market is this way.

@Ednut, where in Canada are you in? Let's connect

what is your line of work, if I may ask?

Hello everyone, please I’m not trying dash everyone’s hope but I want to know are we all waiting indefinitely for draws or are some you making plan B’s, if yes could you share some of your options with me ? Would it be a good idea to apply for study visa to Canada or to another European visa ? I’m wary about the study route because I have a husband and son and I would want a process that allows us to leave together. If any of you with family’s have some plan B options please share. Thanks a lot

I think EE draws will start soon but in the meantime, if you want a plan B, you can try the Canadian study permit route. That allows you to leave with your family: your husband can make a work permit application along with your study permit application.

Hello all,
please help with my questions below:

1. is it true that upon landing Canada, you have to apply for Social insurance number (SIN) online and it will take weeks to arrive? don't they issue it anymore at the airport upon landing?
2. if one has 1.5 years driving history on Nigeria Driver's license, does it mean one will not be able to use the FRSC driving history in Toronto so as to do G2 road test immediately after passing G1?
2. please if you have gotten FRSC diving history recently, could you please share the contact in Abuja and how long it took to receive the letter

Thank you!!!!

With your driving history, you can do G2 immediately after G1 and then the full G after 6 or so months.

Hi guys,

Should I answer yes in both questions below or just the first one? I have had previous visa denials.

1. ever been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

2. ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

Thank you.

Find the NOC that matches your JD and reapply. Do not change your JD though, they have that information already, and any alteration might result to a ban.

Hello everyone, Am new here i need your help, have made some bad decisions using an agent for traveling, i applied to Canada (student visa) through an agent who ask me to send my siblings/children names and dob which i did and he said that he would not list all my siblings because the sponsor is my dad that it going to raise a red flag so he listed 3 instead of 5 still i was denied visa, so he applied for US again but this time he said since i don’t have travel history that he is going to help put one Africa country which he put the stamp on my old passport and US visa was still denied so i stop working with him 3 years ago, a friend of my introduce me to express entry and said i can do it myself that i should check nairaland for help...SO PLEASE EVERYONE I NEED HELP
So has am gathering all documents I decided to other gcms to know what went wrong with my application then, lo and behold i saw it in my gcms note that I don’t have kids.
-Please house what can i do to avoid being ban for misinterpretation because i would like to add my kids to application and list all my siblings
-Please as for the fake sticker it on my old passport not the one am applying with i intend not to add it to my travel history but am scared USA and Canada might share information...please help me gurus and everyone in the house

To be honest with you, your situation is dire. I don’t think you can go through with Express Entry without having issues. You stated that your agent only wrote down 3 of 5 of your siblings. Express entry requires you to fill out a Family Information Form. Will you be including those other 2 siblings now? What happens when either one of those siblings lists you out on their own future applications as a sibling. How do you explain that discrepancy?

Forging an immigration stamp is a criminal offense but that’s not even the biggest problem here. Unless you plan on leaving your children in Nigeria, I don’t think your application will be successful. Even if you exclude them from the application and it is successful, what happens when you want to bring them to Canada later? You’ll just magically have grown children that you’ve never listed on an application.

What you’ve done amounts to fraud. It’s unfortunate. Another option is to just tell the truth on your application. If asked for explanation, explain in detail what happened.
