It's pathetic that the federal government hasn't rehabilitated or outrightly scrapped this pedestrian scheme. The sons of politicians and rich people serve in Abuja and Lagos while the sons of the common man are hurled to insecure states. Pathetic Every batch/stream of NYSC, there are always different causes of wahala - accidents, kidnapping, theft, robbery etc. I grew up hearing "youths are the leaders of tomorrow." Is it till these leaders of tomorrow all die before the government wakes up to her responsibilities? I don't even know where to begin to extend my condolences to the family of the slain lady.
