Surepointman:
Good day all, please I need urgent help on my Brazil visa application. I contacted a Wakanow agent in November to help me with a Brazil visa for a business trip that will hold from 14 to 26 of January 2024. And this is an event I cannot miss as its very important to my company and career. The agent gave me the necessary list of requirements and account details, and I paid immediately and supplied all necessary information required. But I checked the status yesterday and it was showing *SIT*. Now I just heard that the embassy has closed for the year except for emergency cases and I am just so confused on what to do. This travel is very important that I must not miss. Please can anyone help me on what to do

Did they say when they will resume for next?
You can still be given visa and also travel before 14th January
Besides your travel is also emergency.

Abeg house make una help me check this few questions before my submission …

Firstly I will be attending a cryptocurrency summit in brazil and the organiser just allowed every attendee to digitally print out our summit visor invitation..Do i need to notarize it before submission

Second, I kindly want to ask what status of the visa should I click on while applying : is it DIGITAL NOMAD OR BUSINESS VISA OR CONFERENCE?

Thirdly, I reside in Abuja and I read through your website that applicants need to book an appointment before submission. Kindly advise if I am submitting via DHL, should I still book an appointment on e-consular?

Hhmmm

flight tickets are now quite expensive, so you budget about 1 to 1.5 m fir that.

Accommodation depends on your taste. There is something for everyone. Let's say 600Reis per month upwards to get a decent place. You can get cheaper in the favelas and yes they are safe.

Remember when you come to Brazil, the first thing you have to do is learn the language. Sao I suggest you spend the first 3 months in a Portuguese school. It's free. But keep enough money to take care of you while you get settled.

Food is cheap. You can't be hungry in Brazil. But budget enough money because you are coming to a strange land.

Thanks sir
Please what about applying for visa from Nigeria
How much do they require you have in your bank account. And what other necessary documents to have.
Please answer this one too. I need to get all the info before applying.
Thanks once again

In my opinion, your initial plan is okay especially if you are not ready to get pregnant yet. Most westerners who want to stay longer in Brazil do this. Study visa gives you Temporary Resident Permit and you can bring your family. While on this permit you can get pregnant, have a baby and eventually change to Permanent residency.
Duration of your temporary permit depends on the duration of your course. A lot of people opt for Portuguese schools and it’s usually 1 year, if you’re going for masters, it may be up to 3 years.
Regarding Jobs, you’ll need to speak Portuguese to get a good paying job except you can get a remote job from the UK, US etc. You can also decide to teach English. If you study portugese for a year, you may be able to achieve the first option.
If you’re a business person, the market is there if you find a good product.

If you consider distance, I would say your family should apply for tourist visa as well so you can all be together here, once you convert to a permit, they can convert as well. If you plan well, the cost isn’t much compared to other countries and you can DIY.

I’m here with my family, we are doing fine but it’s really God’s Grace and I still have plans to Japa. If you don’t mind the language barrier, Brazil is a good country and the economy is growing stronger.

I don’t know if I answered your questions well but if you have any doubt, feel free to contact me and I can explain better.

I think your conclusion is that she should travel with tourist visa.
Please can someone get a job with the tourist visa

If I be you, I go go do masters for portugal, then maybe in six months time, give my wife belle, make she come born for Portugal.

Portugal na the only country for EU wey dey give cityzinsheep to pikin wey dem born inside their contry, on the condition say one of the pikin parent don live for Portugal at least a year before dem born am.

If your pikin come be a Portugal sheep, then the parents automtically don get the right to stay inside EU permanently. I said Europe, not just Portugal. So just find any country for EU and move there are as as family.

Leave Finland for young guys, as a married man, this package beta for you.

May God bless you richly sir
What of a married woman

Also for permanent residence applications as mension above if you are being given a scholarship do you still need all those requirements.

If you will study, then four million is not enough unfortunately. 4M naira is about 6k euros, it won't pay for your school fees even. You need at least 8-10k euros for that.

I mean, its a huge money, but naira have fallen so badly that when converted to euros, it becomes so small. If you can increase it, then try. It worth working hard for.

Or you go for bachelor degree programs. They are usually cheaper. Lapland university of applied sciences have the cheapest degree program. At about 4k a year, even better if they give you a scholarship.

I can't recommend any course for you. But go to studyinfo. fi, and search for courses that you like, also use the filter botton to search better. But I'll give you a possibility of relocating without spending much.

Lab university of applied sciences just started a four year engineering bachelor program called sustainable solutions engineering. So you study the first 60 credits (out of 240 credits) online, if you perform well, then from the second year, you can study in Finland for free.

The university will assist you to come to Finland, and tuition fee will be free. The country needs people in that field, so they exempt that program from tuition payment.

You won't find the link to the program on their website (I don't know why), but drop your email and I'll send it to you, so you can apply. I got it through their newsletter, since I applied there long time ago when I was like you, trying to japa.

Goodluck mate. May God bless your hustle.
