Minna Emirate Youth Association (MEYA) pays a courtesy visit to Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology Minna and present it 2022 blueprint.

The Minna Emirate Youth Association pays a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology Minna, Prof. Abdullahi Bala. The team which was led by the President, Comrade Abubakar Pada was heartily received by the Vice Chancellor and his Entourage which had the presence of the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, Registrar, Bursar, Chief Liberian amongs others.

The President of MEYA, highlight the purpose of the visit.for which includes partnership, considering Minna Emirate on admissions, employment of academic and non academic staff, empowerment, drugs abuse and involvement of youths on critical peacebuilding efforts as Host can community.

Comr. Abubakar Pada, who made this known during the courtesy visit, said a conducive atmosphere must be created by the government and institutions of learning for the youth to fully develop their potential.

According to him, “the MEYA executives have been very prominent in efforts to promote peace and security as part of its mission to improve the well-being of the local community. Our action has helped foster a sustainable development mindset among young people in the Society." He said.

Prof. Abdullahi Bala while speaking said, The relegation of young people in the socio-economic space creates an atmosphere of hopelessness and distrust, systems and structures defiance, contributing to national, regional, and global insecurity.

He contended that the youths must be groomed for leadership positions, which would enable them to play positive roles in the future and socio-economic growth of the nation.

He also said"We will, above all things, need our younger people to be mentally, morally and spiritually prepared for the herculean but all-important task of making the fundamental change we desire.”

He further stated: “We will not need older people who have probably exhausted their strength and ideas in the course of existence. It is you, the younger people with fresh ideas and juvenile innocence, which can change the course of happenings in the society.”

In his remark, the Vice Chancellor, Professor, Abdullahi Bala, charged the MEYA executives to think outside the box by not limiting their solutions to the table of the government, adding that “they should think deeply of ways as individuals can contribute collectively to goals of sustainable peace and security in our society, beginning with the host, Minna Emirate.”

Peace Ambassadors under the pragmatic leadership of Comrade Jamilu Salihu decorated Hon. Muhammad Usman kawu (Chaska). The decoration was based on the merit and great achievement of the personality.

Hon. kawu Chaska has committed himself for the selfless service in building peaceful coexistence, unity and tolerance. In his remarks; "I don't have much to say but to thank the leadership of this auspicious movement for finding me worthy among others to decorate me as one of it Member as Peace Ambassador.

"It is really important for the youth to know, peace is the art of development and in every developed country there is peace. We should know that violence never a solution to our grieves rather a destruction to our society. I am pretty sure and confident that nothing works collectively when violence is stake.

"Mostly, our affairs towards fellow humans is very bad and unbearable due to the kind of manners we present. And to end such, we must tolerate to be one by shunning religion differences, sentiment and other violence activities that will being setback.

Hon. Haliru who was inaugurated as APC Chairman, Niger State Chapter today by Governor Mai Mala Buni-led Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) represented by the National Secretary, John James Akpanudoedehe at the National Secretariat, Abuja.

Hon. Kawu congratulatory message described Hon. Haliru Jikantoro as a committed party leader who will bring his wealth of experience in order to move the party to a greater heights. He called for robust support and solidarity and prayed for success in this new assignment.

WHY BLAMING NLC FOR N50,000 CHARGES FOR CAESARIAN OPERATION ( CS )AT GENERAL HOSPITAL, MINNA.

Mallam Usman Yahaya, so, it is NLC that must be blamed for everything? If a child coughs it is NLC that must be blamed. If a child has diahorrea, it is NLC that must be blamed. If the ambulance in Minna General hospital breaks down it is NLC that must be blamed. Haba!

Nigeria Labour Congress under the leadership of Comrade Yakubu Garba is doing it best to alleviate the working conditions of civil servants in the state. If you are charged N50,000 at General Hospital , Minna for Caesarian Section ( CS ) operation or N10,000 for normal delivery, you should blame the government and not NLC, please.

The high cost of health delivery is the reason why organized labour in Niger state is planing to key into the CONTRIBUTORY HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME. The seriousness of organized labour in Niger state under Comrade Yakubu Garba regarding the issue of high cost of accessing health care services explains the reason why a roundtable discussion was organized by it in December 2021 at Idris Legbo Kutigi conference hall where stakeholders brainstormed on how to make good health care services available and affordable to not only the civil servants but entire people of Niger state.

In view of this, Mallam Usman i want you to correct that impression that organized labour should be blamed because your wife was charged N50,000 at General Hospital, Minna for CS operation or N10,000 for normal child birth. You should blame the government, not NLC.

Hon. Kawu Chaska Donated Sanitary Pads to Arewa Genius Hub Niger State Chapter.

Yesterday, Hon. Kawu Chaska donated sanitary pads to Arewa Genius Hub Niger State Chapter to support the organization towards their efforts of assuaging period poverty by provision of free sanitary products for women and girls of menstrual Health and Hygiene.

In his delivery message; "For sure, using a pad is good, healthy and safe during menstrual and the effect of not using may have drastic effect on one's health. So, there is dire need to sensitize the girl's child on trivial issues peculiar to the gender which i have seen your organization doing, i wished to give my own support to the organization in order to keep on the good work.

"I urge you to keep on the good work and services and i wish you more success."

The Chairwoman of the organization, appreciated Hon. Kawu for his support given to them in order to make their programme a successful one. In her words; "This gesture really means a lot at the time we need. It shows we are also important in the society and it will give many of them freedom to move freely without thinking otherwise in the midst of people.

"The essence of the pad is to protect the women and ladies within the age range of menstruation. And the programme itself is to advocate, sensitize and gives them forum of deliberation on the need of pad in the period of menstruation.

"We have nothing to offer you but to assured of no regret in collaborating with our organisation and we shall continue helping the less privileges and the needy across our society, state and Nigeria as whole. Therefore, we prayed for Almighty Allah to bless the support and continue to give you strength that will be of benefit to humanity."

Hon. Kawu Chaska Rejoice With Hon. Muhammad Babadoko Tako On His New Born Baby, And Attends Naming Ceremony.

Early hours of today, Hon. Muhammad Usman Kawu (Chaska) was among the prominent citizens of Niger State, Islamic clerics, politicians, party bigwigs in the state and guests that stormed the home of Hon. Baba Doko for the naming ceremony of his new born baby.

Hon. Kawu Chaska congratulated Hon. Baba Doko saying the arrival of the new baby was a blessing from God. He prayed that God Almighty should give Hon. Baba Doko the wisdom and strength to train the child. He, however, also prayed for God’s protection, blessings and good health for the new born baby and the entire family.

He used the medium to encouraged and adviced parents to ensure proper training of their children in a Godly way. "Training your children in Islamic doctrine is an act that will lead you to Jannat. Hon. Muhammad Usman Kawu (Chaska) in his early thirties has the heart of Gold and showing what a beautiful mind to help even with the little needed in the status of the society today. Poised on his humanitarian mandate to improve the well-being of the society, status of the needy and less privileged in Chanchaga Constituency.

Hon. Kawu Chaska has donated a free set of football jersey to Tunga Pillars football team in Tunga, Minna. In the middle hours of today, set Jersey presented to Tunga Pillars football team in bid to their request as support and moral booster in their footballing activity through his Media Team.

This beckoned on the Tunga Pillars shows dedication and to put in more commitment in their footballing so as to improve and standardize their plays. He, however, urged them to be united as a team and show their talents to the watching spectators, the team management and also the Football authorities.

He thanked them for the opportunity and assured to do more with their support. He, therefore, called on them to be ambassadors of change and development in their community and cheer them to use football as a vehicle for economic development and growth and to restrain themselves from any illegal vice as well.

The team leaders, on behalf of the team showered profuse gratitude and appreciation to Hon. Kawu Chaska. They added, that the gesture was timely and well appreciated. And the team in general thanked him for the kind gesture and support and also prayed for God's continued blessings upon his life.

The aphorism "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, but give him a hook then you have fed him for a life time" such sayings though a popular axiom often recited by all but rarely practiced by a few.

In today’s Niger State political space, politicians are more comfortable dishing out handouts to their followers in the name of empowerment than giving them the training that will get them settled, feed them and their families for life.

But for Hon. Kawu Chaska, giving a man a fish to feed on is good but he is more concerned in giving his constituents the fishing hook that will feed them, their future and their families for life which in all standards is excellent and altruistic.

Mindful of the realities of the todays Nigeria where it is difficult to secure a befitting job even after obtaining university degrees and where governments across the Nation are finding it difficult to pay the salaries and wages of those they have engaged in the civil service. Hon. Kawu given the verisimilitude of the economy has had as part of his show of love and genuine concern for the welfare of his constituents have engaged youths in the services of training them in different technical and vocational skills designed to giving them a life time vocation that will take care of their future.

In the other category of the unemployable, this group comprises of those who do not have university or even post primary education but are interested in acquiring professional skills that will help them become established and be the boss of their own rather than waiting for handouts from politicians and by so doing end up as political thugs. Hon. Kawu has also, out of his humanitarian service helped them in undertaking courses in Electrical Installation & maintenance, building technology, Modern Furniture and others making so as to rely on.

Hon. Kawu Chaska, like a man who is accustomed to the journey he is about to embark on despite having not travelled that route before, and like other assignments he has handled in the state which he usually comes out tops and excellent.

Being a man with passion who also understands his environment and he is always home to his constituents.

While some people are busy playing politics of propaganda, Hon. Kawu is deeply occupied with activities that will bring development to his constituency which shows that Hon. Kawu is not only erudite and tactical, he applies dexterity and possesses capacity.

Hon. Kawu’s constituency welfare scheme has touched the lives of his constituents by taking care of the health and legal needs of some members of his community, he has also used his position to secure jobs for the unemployed graduates while concluding arrangements again to train and establish the unemployable in different professional skills such as Electrical Installation & maintenance, building technology, Modern Furniture Making, Fabrications, Construction & Modern Brick, being a thorough bred politician who grew up and schooled in the midst of his people he understands the need for a closer interaction with his constituents and that he has maintained.

Hon. Kawu has shown love and care to his constituents and has promised to further improve his performance rating even though his performance has been outstanding and sterling if given the mantle of power to represent Chanchaga Constituency at the State House of Assembly 2023.

HOOLIGANISM IN MINNA: AN OUTLOOK OF A WEAK POLITICAL LEADERSHIP.

The media and public affairs unit of the Peoples Democratic Party, Niger State chapter, observes with consternation, the heightened hooliganism being orchestrated by teenagers in broad daylight in Minna, the Niger State Capital.

These teenagers, presumably within the age bracket of 16 and 24 have become landlords in a society with democratic government, laws and law enforcement agencies. These hooligans unleash mayhem, with the unsuspecting and law-abiding citizens becoming their ultimate victims.

It is disturbing that this is happening at a time the APC-led Federal and State Government appear incapacitated and complacent in the fight against banditry that has since metamorphosed into terrorism in Niger State.

As we are aware, Minna is the capital of Niger State and the seat of power. Minna harbours major political, economic, social and security actors in Niger State. For emphasis, Niger State Government House, Niger State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Niger State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Niger State Command of Department of State Services and Military Artillery Brigade are all in Minna.

APC government has already wrecked incurable disaster on our people, particularly those in the hinterlands, it is, therefore, pertinent for all sons and daughters of Niger State to rise to the occasion of calling Governor Abubakar Sani Bello to sit up to the responsibility of governance, as what is presently obtainable could only be courteously described as infantile leadership - the worst since 3rd February 1976.

We mustn't forget our precarious conditions, both in our urban and rural areas, as APC has demonstrated incapacitation in the management of our economic, social and security spheres.

The Peoples Democratic Party sympathizes with the peace-loving people of Niger State for the avoidable carnage being unleashed on them as a result of the failure of the government of the day.

Hon. Kawu Chaska Media Team condoles with Hon. Muhammad Usman Kawu over the demise of his wife's uncle. The death which occurs as a result of road accident late hours of yesterday.

The death of the Uncle is deeply painful and irreparable. As such, we (Hon. Kawu Media Team) share your pain at this moment of your bereavement. However, painful and emotionally wrenching as this sad loss represents, we want you to be consoled by the fact that in his short life, your late wife's uncle had lived a life of deep impact to the humanity and altruist pursuits will stand out as shining example of a man.

As we mourn his passage, we conveyed and prayed for Almighty Allah to give you, her family, friends, constituents and associates the fortitude to bear the loss. And may Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him a beautiful abode in Aljannah Fridaous. Aamin!

“We received the news of the demise of your beloved mother with sadness, but we are consoled by the fact that she lived a life of dedicated service to humanity.

Dr. Mustapha Jibril Alheri fondly called the doctor of the masses has been described as the champion of youths, a strong benefactor and a tireless Father to youths in chanchaga and Niger state, in general.

Vice Chairperson of Progressive Ambassadors, Amb. Hadiza Mohammed who led a delegation of the women wing stated this in Minna during a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce, investment and industry at his office.

In her address, the women leader, Amb. Jamila Gazzali noted that, Dr. Mustapha has demonstrated credible leadership, just as he has made tremendous contributions to ensure the even development of the state in general being the former Commissioner for health and the current Commissioner for Commerce, Investment and industry.

”The women wing of Progressive Ambassadors at all levels are proud of his tangible achievements and we appreciate his sustainable inclusion of youths both men and women in his activities.

On her part, the woman Leader of the organization, Amb. Aisha S Bala said that, Dr. Mustapha is a Divine gift to the people of chanchaga & Niger State.

”He has relentlessly been working to turn around the fortunes of the state, in general, as a Commissioner for Health, hitherto and as Commissioner for Commerce, investment and industry from 2019 to date. In his response, Dr. Mustapha Jibril Alheri described youths/women as the engine room of any nation or government.

According to him, ”that was why he has ceaselessly accorded top priorities to the youths, and women in his policies, and programmes.

In our laborious and continuous search for facts about life, we have discovered that goals actualized by great people, lauded by sincere person who have equally done a remarkable things and yet doing; We also discovered the value of a gift is neither the price nor durability, but it's ability to evoke thoughts that comes with a long-lasting smile.

These reflect goals that have been actualized by great person around us, our thoughts always revealed whenever greatness of any individual is measured by those legacy. The greatest person have always infected with immediate environments, directly and indirectly with equal proportion. It it is only few that have extraordinary deeds and acts of goodness that will continue to impact positively to humanity, good leadership and service to humanity without deficiency.

The world indeed suffers from the relatively lack of selflessness and heroism. But for the few people who still hold the collective progress of humanity in high priority, their inspirations must be accorded with due commendation. We are always inclined to look within our immediate sociopolitical grouping in constant considerations of whom political spirits of oneness, political philosophy and inspiring great characters of worthy honorarium.

Our perspective is based on credibility, competency and transparency that will transform the system Chanchaga Constituency with the above mentioned qualities. Hon. Kawu Chaska is Young, Vibrant, Hardworking and Dedicated with a great manifesto that will manifest for better hope, future and generation yet to come.
