N3TRAL: They should be allowed to do their thing like they’ve always done? Just like they did with the case of the just past senate president, Lawal. It was magical! We wouldn’t want that kind of magic, hence our decision to call to them to order. |

MrBiGGEST: People like you you that wouldn’t want our institutions to function as it should be don’t deserve be here as an enemy of a functional and a sane country. With all the proven results and evidences at the disposal of the Judicial system, you expect them to still thwart the right judgment in Favour of the obvious culprit. It doesn’t matter who’s at the receiving end, justice must prevail!!! |
Hello Nairalanders. I need your honest feedback on this issue. There is this ex of mine I dated for approximately 4 years. During the course of our relationship, I Was totally in my best power not to be the toxic one and never cheated on her but she eventually left with no viable reason. There were times she messed up and I forgave her even while we dated. Close to the time of her graduation from a reputable state university in Nigeria, she started messing up and eventually broke up the relationship. I was pained though but I had to forgive her and move on. After the break up (which is about 3 years away now) we still talk (greetings on phone) once in a blue moon. Now the issue at hand is, a male boss of mine requested that I recommend a female staff that matches a particular vacant role in our organisation . Note: This is an internal recruitment and who ever I recommend stand a 95% chance of getting employed ( the other 5% if for village people). The role is an entry role with pay centered around 80k-100k monthly. She currently earns 22k where she works now at at our last conversation. Though she use to be a cool person before her village people entered the relationship. Over three years of not being close as before gives me no clue of the type of person she might have become now. Maybe a scorned woman or a more sensible person. I'm doing far better than when she left me and it's super glaring to her. The reason why I need advice is this: I work at the same organisation in question and I have no plan to leave soon. I'm trying to avoid a case where she will be the one to facilitate any issue for me at the said work place. Just avoiding anything that will result in regrets. Update: I forgot to add, she's one of the person I know who suits the role. I don't have sister who matches the role. I created this new account for just this thread hence the moniker "for this post" Kindly advice biko. Bashing is allowed.[/quote Oga she go eventually put you for wahala o. My people say "firewood wer dem don use before no dey tay to catch fire o." If she gets picked eventually, it's 80% possible that you guys could pick up your relationship and e no go jell for your job. However, my sister just finished NYSC o. Hafa? Lol |

H
Introversion sucks when you have no purpose. "A problem defined is half solved " What have you done to help yourself? I'm an introvert too and a core one at that, i could stay indoors for months without seeing the daylight. [Since i have what i needed for survival] My social life got worse and it was really affecting my esteem, i had no choice than to switch some traits I work on the internet though [fiverr] and this contributed to my loneliness but i got it figured out since i started doing these 1. Registered at a nearby gym. Trust me, you will learn how to socialize [it helps], i make gym friends and trust me, i regretted not doing that earlier. But be careful who you deal with, i only make gym friends, it takes several proofs and convictions before i could make "normal normal " friends. I'm that bad and i do not regret it 2. Freelancing friends I have lots of them, depending on the nature of what you do, there are similar minded people you can interact with, trust me, you will feel comfortable conversing with someone with similar interests You could find them online within your locals This helps so so well 3. Game. I love Play station, only God know the number of people i have had playing games with them. Find what you love doing, man, you will find people who will like you and want to interact with you. Recently, i have been thinking of including other sport (basketball on Saturday) Im enjoying my introversion and i love it that way. Bottling Emotions I used to do that alot trust me, some people are good at seeing your weak points will use that against you When you keep mute toward expressing your feelings, some people think you are foolish see man, regardless of your temperament, there are always things to fix. Nobody is perfect, not even the extroverts. I usually make my feelings known to anyone around me and will always let them know i love my space no matter what, and i should be treated with respect. Cos i will treat you the same. I snub people easily, yes when i study you and realize you wont respect my space. I no like wahala. That doesnt mean i wont exchange greetings when necessary. Start today, start letting people know what makes you feel bad, dont let them step on your toes. Introversion is cool when you have principles. I'm not perfect, I keep learning and improving Thanks for sharing your wealth of experience with our community. Working out at the gym has helped me improve in so many areas too. 2 Likes |
"Examination of Conscience" Wow! Never heard that phrase before! Buhari, over to you. Its a popular sentence in Catholicism. Most especially when ya 'bout to observe your holy penance. You gotta examine your conscience to know where you've derailed and be sobber in atonement and then make amends, perhaps. |

lkillbrokehoes:u Without arguing with you, Tunde is a human like you and with flaws. He's made a couple of mistakes that has apparently caused his downfàll. But come to think of it.... Do you know how many career he has helped build directly or indirectly? Do you know how many young talents he helped bring to limelight with his evilpage? He's arguably one of the most powerful social media influencers from this part of the world. |
