Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Should I Keep My Job Or Travel To The UK by danielo100: 5:40pm On Jan 02
Well said and analyszed bro.

joebeckz:
This is what I think.

Every passing administration in Nigeria have only worsened the state of the country.
Do you wanna remain in this situation?

Do you have job satisfaction and do you earn enough after deduction monthly expenses from your salary to save at least 300- 500k?

If not.. Leave Nigeria.
Marrying will make your savings dip further every month. You will be under pressure and that wouldn't be nice. Plan to leave Nigeria to Australia or Canada or even the USA..
I don't like UK but it's a matter of choice.

One thing is certain, after you gain stability in these countries and you know what you are doing. You will save at least 1k dollars monthly after expense.

You can pick a wife from Nigeria, try to get a nice woman for yourself now. So she go through the phase with you in prayers and to support you with words of encouragement.

My reason for choosing Canada especially is because it is easier to gain stability and immigration documents faster.

UK and Australia ain't bad either.

When you finally finish your one or two year program. Come back to Nigeria and marry your fiancee that would have been with you during this phase and begin to process her papers.
She will join you as dependant.
She will also work and add to your savings as one family.
While she is in Nigeria waiting for you to get done with school. She should enrol in programs that would prepare her for the new country in relevant trade.
Hair making, etc.

If you happen to get a medically inclined lady, it is an advantage to your progress.

Age shouldn't rush you into marrying now.
Proper plan and execution will be worth your wait.

May God direct you.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Actually Flopped In My Micro Teaching Interview by danielo100: 12:23pm On Aug 21, 2023
I think i was once in this shoe.

One thing you must know and never forget is that as a teacher, you shouldn't be afraid of the student rather the student should be afraid of you or are afraid you... Think about those days when you were a student too, you were always the who was afraid of the teachers and not the teacher of you, Mind you, those teacher then had fears but surpressed them because of the mindset that they are the one to be feared, so you won't even see their fears (even when they are afraid at some point)...Always put this at the back of your mind, and you will conquer those fears.......
Being of afraid of teaching in a class (especially a subject you read well in the uni) is like an hunter in the bush being afraid of a chicken or antelope (easy kill).. when it is actually the other way round.

Secondly, know also that you have the knowledge they don't have, thus speak to them boldly because they are listening to what they don't know (atleast not as much as you do). so you gotta be bold when you talk.

You may be an introvert to class teaching, but just try and act so boldly for a week, only a week, and you will see yourself getting better and better, the following weeks.

dboY1123:
My previous post about a big school that called me for an Interview, Well I actually went there, did my test and when I was asked to come in for Micro Teaching where I was faced with Staff of the school and maybe the principal, I flopped and panicked heavily.

The fear was well written all over my face and I was just saying rubbish despite choosing to teach "Matter" as my topic. Immediately I came in and they asked for my name and few other questions before the micro teaching, my voice was already shaking as if I have never taught before in my life(they noticed and told me to calm down).

Although I am an introvert, I hardly face audience talk more of strangers and the quest to ensure that I performed, those things enveloped/swallowed me completely. I have never taught in such a big school before, I think my qualification was what made them approach me in the first place.

One of the staff kept throwing questions at me, I mean confusing questions just to know my depth of knowledge in the particular topic, and guess what? I flopped totally and became disorganized. But luckily, there was a man among the panel who gave me the option of coming back and prove myself that I am a qualified teacher as stated in my CV or I should take another topic I'm more comfortable with. So, I opted to leave and come back so I can regain my confidence.

Now, I have been given enough time to go and make research and convince them on Monday.
How do I conquer that fear and what are the things they look so I can prepare hard.
Thank you.
Politics / Re: Dollar Video: Court Fixes Sept 22 For Judgment In Ganduje’s Suit by danielo100: 5:24pm On Jul 26, 2023
Seriously our Judiciary is so compromised and corrupt....

september 22 to judge a corruption case with clear evidence, 2 months !!!! what for is it a job that the defendant will have to take a 2month vacation before resumption or what ..... it's just so stupid and lame ..... Most of the Judges have no shame !! and no integrity !!!
Little wonder the current judges in the electoral court tribunal presiding the election case, cannot CONFIDENTLY declare Tinubu's victory void, even when the evidences are sufficient and clear, because they probably have skeletons in their closet.

Moral lesson: We need strict laws... any judiciary or public officer, whose integrity has been compromised, such that it puts him/her in a position that will cause members of the public to doubt/question his decisions on matters regarding the state, should be immediately prosecuted and pulled out of office.. It's not their Father's office to begin with.......

They wanted to vote against godfather, but they also wanted to vote another godfather.
Awamaradi was just a victim of no god father, gbadebo chinedu lost out as the Deputy governor to jandor then a consistent in political failure and Nigeria port authority most corrupt godfather Bode George gave him the ticket.

In the face of the law, awamaradi is the LP governorship aspirant.

which yeye face of the law. where was the face of the law when innocent citizens were killed by their own government who was suppose to protect them, despite holding the flag of their country at hand, in their own country. #smh. still haven't recovered from the scars of the lekki incidence. If there was really an incorruptible Judiciary, Sanwo Olu, shouldn't have spend 7 days more on that sit. He should have just resigned with a little honor.

Because no purpose of the government is to protect the lives her citizen. and where this has been lost beyond repair, The sitting govt should just resign.
But in this country, reverse is the case. The failed govt having the face, (and without shame) to come out for a re-election. and you still think there is a ''face of the law'' in this country. Just dey play oo!!! Dey play !!!!!!

APC should continue oooo. By their schemes we shall know them !!!!

There's really no choice. You shouldn't make up tales in your head and claim people have a choice to believe or not. That's nonsense.

You claim there's a heaven? Have you been there? Where is it? What goes on there? Why is death the only way to reach its gates?
My bro, we all do have a choice, take it or leave it...and heaven is real !!! Believe it or live in ignorance all your life...if u want to know if truly It does read your Bible wella

Speed kills people. Drive with sense and care ESP on Naija roads.
I just feel sorry for people who get involved in accidents because of the carelessness of drivers and their padsangers who do not mind the carelessness of their drivers. Imagine if there was a car going jejely on that lane the bus diverted to. Wouldn't that have been stupid implication for the innocent people in the second car?

how about sex for role in movie and sex for job and others... this bill should not be not limited to some areas of life it also concerns other areas, of which the senate needs to thoroughly examine....

but come to think of it, isn't this supposed to have been entrenched in the law before now.
