Thats about 7 days, mine was 9 days, dont think its too fast though, maybe they are through with their checks and decided to issue and send back, you have no cause to worry as its already on the way, stay positive.

I was interviewed for businessvisa on 19th of july and just tracked my passport n it has been sent 3ru redstar express on 25th Thursday night.
It will be delivered on monday, i hope the reply will be good.

RedStar Express picked my documents Thursday 25/07 and delivered to me in PH just now.
Though I filled single entry, I was given 1 year multiple.

Everything took 9 days in all.

I went for interview today.
After the interview the said the will get back to me in 10 to 14days.

Was at the embassy around 7.15am for my 7.30 appointment. Met a long queue mostly students so I was allowed in quickly.

I Ieft the embassy around 8.10am. Met a Nigerian lady and she checked the docs. Returned some of copies back such as 2nd application form and the copy of my bank statement

Just ensure you have copies of all the documents well arranged - original follow by its copy.

No you cannot.
The requirement is to fill the videx form online and print 2 copies with the page containing your unique 3 bar codes at the end of the form.

It is the bar code the interviewer will scan to bring out your filled application form on the system.

I asked because while feeling the form, there was no place to put my hotel details. I hope that is not an issue although I hv printed my videx form out.
I hope it doesn't matter?
The space for hotel is empty cos i want to apply for business visa.

My timeline:

18/6/19 - send mail to German embassy for appointment booking date.

19/6/19 - Reply from embassy to come for interview on 21/06/19 at 07:30 am.

21/6/19 - went for interview at the German embassy.

1/7/19 - Document was picked at the German embassy by DHL.

2/7/19 - Received document from DHL with visa on passport.

If you are genuine traveller, German embassy is the best for shengen visa application.

German visa interview is very friendly. No need to practice anything, just be honest with your mission in Germany (which should be visiting).You should know basic details of your visit (hotels you'll stay, relationship with inviting host, etc). You'd be given time to explain in detail, any unclear info. As long as, you have coherent answers (which you should if your intention is pure), you're good.


If you have 7:30 interview, prepare to be done around 9am - 9:30 ish. The interview itself lasts about 10 to 30 minutes (depending on your case).... but the other processes and waiting time would take most of the period.

So are you trying to say that the question 31a , b and c is not suppose to be empty for a business visa videx form?
I have done it over and over and it's still the same.
While filling the form there is no space for hotel except for tourist applicant which i am not.

Only videx form is allowed. Once you're able to generate the three barcodes and print, you're fine. The blank spaces don't apply to you, that's the reason why they didn't show up while filling your application.
