I traveled to the US last October. However, at my visa interview in june I told the VO I planned to travel in July. She also asked me about who I was going to stay with, what he did, etc.
At the POE in Atlanta, CBP agents grilled me for an hour on why I didn't travel in June, and they also vetted EVERY PIECE OF INFORMATION I SUPPLIED at my interview 4 months earlier before I was allowed into the US.
1. Do not alter your story as much as possible at the POE. A visa technically is A REQUEST FOR PERMISSION to enter a country, not an automatic gateway. ICE and CBP agents can still turn you back at the POE if they're not satisfied after conducting their own interview.
2.. Have at least $1000 as money you intend to spend during your visit, especially for a B2 tourist visa, as they do not believe you're serious about your intention if you have anything less.

It's not wrong at all. Plans are subject to change always. Like someone rightly said, all you need to do is Have a hotel reservation in state(Chicago) handy and return ticket. You'd be fine. Safe trip in advance

Theres no problem. I filed in my ds160 i was going to visit a friend in chicago. But when i was ready to go, my frined was having her finak exams. So i bought a ticket to miami to visit anither friend and i had no problem at POE.

I really can't predict wot the customs/immgration officer will have to say abt that issue...my doc include Baltimore and he said "how long u staying in baltimore" "do you have a relative in baltimore" I replied..he stampd my Documnt nd I procedd...if ur visa include atalanta try book a motel in atalant spend few nite and travel your way to chicago

Her visa is for the US. .right? New York is part of the US...right? Many states do not have direct international flights. Depending on the airline...she may very well have to be in New York before moving on to Chicago...by connecting flight... by train.. by bus.. by car..or ehmm...okada.

This is real life experiences about cattle fating/goat rearing in Nigeria. I have visited some research institution and big cattle ranches in Nigeria. I will be sharing pictures from time to time on this topic. This topic is for people who want to start a backyard goat farm or want to fatten 10 cows or less. I shall provide practical steps to start, housing and feeding/silage making tips and solutions. The greatest challenge in ruminants rearing is housing/ security, the cost of housing is high, even cows will need a form of fencing at night to prevent thieves.

Yes she can still travel so far as her visa is valid. I suppose she was given a 2-year visa with multiple entry right? I've noticed millions of Nigerians misunderstand the meaning of 'visa'. For the US, a visa is not the length of time you are allowed to stay in the country. Rather it is the time frame which you can travel to and exit the US freely without interruption. It is only a permit. If her visa is still valid, yes she can still use it to travel. Where it is usually an issue is if the visa was gotten and not used at all until it expired. Going for another visa usually raises deep scrutinizing questions.

She should have medical papers handy if asked at the Port of Entry any questions, which I doubt. Also, her port of entry into the US does not matter. People are allowed to enter at any POE as they so wish.

This has happened to me before, all you need do is swear an affidavit and then a police report and your good to go.. Your passport will be given back to you at the collection center.

Documents in your name, national ID, drivers license, credit cards, just more stuff to show who you are

If they still don't give you, email embassy explain your problems, at least they have your fingerprints if they don't trust your word they might use this.
