Foreign Affairs / Re: Obama, Is Race A Factor? by darfur(m): 5:12pm On Sep 20, 2008
make no mistake, america is a white country. racism is a great factor and a black president in 2008 may be a mirage. until the kids who are below 20yrs today grow to be the ruling generation, racism will continue to be a factor in the US politics . . i.e if those kids dont get corrupted by their fathers.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Obama, Is Race A Factor? by darfur(m): 4:48pm On Sep 20, 2008
how come some dudes in nairaland(names withheld) suddenly started supporting mccain only after hillary clinton the witch was floored by a nigger?

to the point they are now grand defenders of indefensible scenarios

ahaaaaa, obama haters tongue

Foreign Affairs / Re: Poll: Obama Retakes Lead Over Mccain by darfur(m): 1:06am On Sep 20, 2008
no, i disagree. with obama's skin color in a racial country, mccain is supposed to be leading by 40 points now.

well considering the bradley effect, the polls may not be fully trustworthy. but all the same, leading mccain is a great achievement and beating hillary is an even bigger achievement tongue

every adult american knows obama is a better candidate. only they wont admit it. but it's okay, my own country's voters are not better. i still hail my man, go barrack go
Foreign Affairs / Re: Obama Mocks Mccain As Computer Illiterate by darfur(m): 4:41am On Sep 14, 2008
if obama was unable to use the computer some emergency mccain supporters in this thread would have been jumping off their feet.

some peeps here are worse than hannity, given the opportunity. debate for all you care, obama is an american citizen, he has a right to contest and he is qualified to be the president of the united states. he did, made history so far, and he is definitely more intelligent than bush, mccain, chenney, pallin etc combined.

imagine the republicans, bush has horrible school records, mccain came 5th from last(an improvement over bush grin) but obama had great results in harvard and he earned his admission in harvard( not bush who used his dad's influence to get a place in yale), even hillary (the witch grin) had excellent results from yale(probably thru witchcraft grin)

no wonder the white trash, illiterate appalachian dumbos vote republicans and dread educated smart people. no wonder being a community organiser at 22yrs of age is now a negative CV, no wonder getting 200,000 germans to wave the US flag is now a negative event, no wonder people like paris hilton are celebrities, no wonder . . . . make i no talk lipsrsealed

Seun:

I think we need to shut up about his. Nobody deserves this kind of death. Let's just be careful.

no disrespect to the lawmaker, but some people in this country deserve to die. angry

when u see children and pregnant women dying in our hospitals for some trivial reasons as doctors on strike, nurses on strike, theatre workers on strike, no oxygen in the hospital, no fuel in the ambulance, nepa took light during an operation and generator is bad etc, some people should be held responsible for that. the blood of those who died in this silly circumstances do not go unnoticed.

howabout unfortunate road trafick accidents due to bad roads. or plane crash due to poor air traffic control which is due to govt apathy. some people are responsible for that too.

should we forget the thousands and tens of thousands who have died from cholera and orther water borne diseases due to poor water and sanitation supply? who is responsible for that? tell me.

some people in nigeria deserve slow, painful, gruelling death angry

@Darfur,
Are you for real? What is the talk about the looks of the female Presenter on Fox about? Does that have any bearing to politics or their beauty?
So what are you doing in the political section?
Thank God for you.

i was trying to explain something somebody posted wondering why some reporter wasnt able to smile.

i am in the political section b/c i see it as a place matured minds come together to debate current issues. when i see opposing ideas i try to learn from it, get experience from the other side etc not to insult women(except hillary. which is a problem i'll deal with soon)
i believe in God,
i hate abortions too, yes i hate them,
i have no girlfriend, i go to church every week,
i dont agree with homosexuality,
i dont believe in gay pastors (unfortunately the church of england accepts it but i'll still go to church)
i believe in fatherhood and disciplined family units

my only link with the democrat party is their policy on poverty alleviation. if under the republican party there are over 13million children suffering from extreme poverty in the united states you cant expect me to be happy. and the US policies reflect on the global economies especially the UK where i live. you can then imagine how it affects the world, from the iraqi children, to the children in the niger-delta etc.

i am more humanitarian than liberal. biko. chineke egbula gi abeg
Foreign Affairs / Re: Sarah Palin Is A Mistake by darfur(m): 5:20pm On Sep 10, 2008
tayo i was neither criticising fox nor praising them. just read my post as a simple statement. i did not criticise their women. you wont see me degrading women for whatever. never(except hillary. . .and even at that i have never challenged her beauty or personal life, only political life)

dont always believe anything i posted has political undertone

and i am not a liberal
Foreign Affairs / Re: Sarah Palin Is A Mistake by darfur(m): 4:57pm On Sep 10, 2008
fox news has an "unseen" policy of recruiting models. havent u noticed that most of their female presenters are model-like and frequently blonde. some women do a touch up b4 being employed so that may be her problem

what makes Hiliary worse than palin in your eyes. I noticed you've been bashing her in other threads. I'm curious, what's the reason? wink

my dear na so i see am o, i just dislike that woman. she represents evil in my eyes. she is a pack of pretence to me. her yes may mean no, her smile seems to me to be backstabbing.

to be candid, it may all be delusional or some psychotic (paranoid) expression but i strongly believe she is better avoided than courted.

Ibime:

Why do they put that wimp Colmes next to Hannity on Hannity and Colmes? Mind programming, I see. That guy looks like such a wimp next to Hannity. They should bring some ballsy mothaphocka to stand up to Hannity's blasphemous comments.

that is how they want it. fox news is for republicans, and they just got the democrat colmmes to pretend to be balanced. sure colmes has his limits in the programme. he must have been told to keep low by his employers. that is a republican way of doing things.
get one democrat and claim to be balanced(H & C)
get one black and claim to be nice to african americans(condi rice)
get one woman and claim to be pro women(pallin)

By the way, while these two can be said to posses natural resources, I doubt same can be said of mama Pelosi. davidylan:

yeah back to the topic . . . no difference. Coulter is simply an uglier version of Palin.
The Palin effect is in full force, she's moved the fickle walmart moms over to McCain's side by a whopping 20 points according to latest polls.

now these are very unfortunate posts. who determines cosmetic supremacy? people have discussed McCain's death, now it's women's beauty. pls guys be civilised. these are mothers
Foreign Affairs / Re: Sarah Palin Is A Mistake by darfur(m): 4:18pm On Sep 10, 2008
if the poor uneducated supremacist appalatian whites and similar whites in the US are interested in another republican govt that will only keep them poor while making the bushes rich, so be it.

if the immigrants like toya-d and kobojunkie want a xenophobic republican leadership another 4 yrs (just to spite obama) no stress. obama will remain in the senate, earn his money, has his fame already, chikena.

if the white women of america prefer republican palin's policies that will deny them their right of choice and reverse roe vs wade and thrust up one woman to confuse them, fine.

this argument will go no where. remember, the republicans presented powel, then rice, just one african american or the other, at a time while their policies are overwhelmingly antagonistoc of blacks aspirations, and now they are doing it to women. fine, let it be.na their country.

whatever it is, i'll have hypertension if i see that hillary roaming around political circles. i want her politically subdued. forever.

Kobojunkie:

Definitely, Hillary as VP would have made the dream team for the democrats. I doubt the polls would have remained as close as it has if that had been the case. Unfortunately, that did not happen. As much as I did not like her politics and all, I have to admit the woman has an army out there who remain miffed. I don't really put a lot of stock in the polls. We are less than 60 days to D-Day, in my opinion, a historical election date.

no way, no how, no hillary angry

let obama loose. we cannot be fooled. this election is about personalities. hillary and her terrible supporters will be a minus for obama and what he stands for. let him loose with respect. her supporters still wont accept obama even if she is VP. and if per-adventure they do, it is dangerous as one of them will shoot him someday to make her VP. she and her supporters are terrible human beings, sore loosers, mostly racist, let them go and hang. and if i were obama i'll ask her to stop campaigning for obama ticket.

she wants obama to loose. so she can run in 20I2, She is a witch, politically malicious, untrustworthy and dangerous to both obama's political life and his actual life.

let her shut up . americans may choose McCain. fine.and more importantly america has got a female hero, and it is not her tongue

Politics / Re: Poison Fire - A Documentary On Shell's Wanton Destruction Of The Niger Delta by darfur(m): 3:43pm On Sep 07, 2008
@deboski,

a doctor does not give panadol to a patient with headache and ask him to go home. a doctor tries to find out what is causing the headache. it may be malaria, or typhoid fever, or stress etc, then the doctor treats the underlying disease.

shell's activites are like a headache(a very throbbing headache) but beyond that, there is something going on. there is a lawless nation.

we'll be damned if we expect shell to love us. they are business men. period. their interest is money. if they can do it in london and get away with it they will. but they wont get away with it so they wont do it in europe. when they came to chaos-iria nigeria, they saw they can get away with it and they did just that. even after a court injunction(i finally found time to watch it all) they are still getting away with it. did you see how the niger-deltans sent to europe to help showcase the horrors of shell were overtly intimidated by the presence of shell top brat? the people have been so humiliated and dehumanised. evidence of a wasteland(nigeria) you need to see illiterates in the UK fighting for their rights. poor illiterates will confront even the prime minister. b/c they live in a country where humanity is respected and everyone is important. our children in naija have grown in a country where some people are made to believe they are inferior. Another evidence of a failed nation.

that is the underlying pathology of the shell issue. failed nation, lawless nation, shell capitalisation, dehumanised citizens who dont know how to fight for their rights, . . . .

Obama needs her. You talk as if he alrready secured the Oval Office. Are you going by polls?

Even if as polls indicate Obama wins the popular vote, just assuming okay, ; he still needs Hillary. He will need Hillary untill his opponent concede the election. You all are focusing too much on the poll numbers and what they mean for popular votes. Presidential election is not declared on popular vote. It is electoral votes!!!. So Hillary can still mess up his chances with her loyalists during electoral vote. Open your eyes Democrats and recognize the power and influence that both Bill and Hillary have on Obama's victory into the White House.

let her go and hang. i hate her angry . let obama loose, i dont care, i just dont want a scenario where that witch would claim ownership of an obama victory.

Kobojunkie:

I think the article does make it clear that even after all the venom during the primaries, Obama does believe he needs her to win the white house. I am not anti-hillary, just that I do not share her views and I definitely do not want to see her back on the screens for a long while. I was hoping we have seen the last of her for this election.

Negro_Ntns:

Darfur, look how you described it in precise narrative. Doesn't this conflict with your earlier take that Obama is leading McCain and that his base is swollen by whites? Is it not possible then that those same whites you claim are giving him a lead over McCain are nothing but a racist base and that their position in his number is meant to conceal true political leaning until 11/4 when the vote counts are revealed?

Thats what they want Obama and his supporters to do, relax, afterall Mr Obama, you are leading the polls, the win is yours! Then 11/4 come and RNC is jubilating their victory.

the fact that u responded only to the highlighted aspect of my post tells me u pretty much agree with the rest of the post cheesy

ok, it happened in new hampshire when he was leadin in the polls 10% on the eve of the primaries but then lost the election there grin so, leave matter. polls no too mean much. we know. however we like to pay attention to it.

now not all white people are racist. ok, but make no mistake, this election is about race.period. there is no way a black man can enter the whitehouse when a white american hero is an option . . . undecided understand. i dont think think ekwueme can win an election in oshodi against tayo-d , experience and qualification notwithstanding. i'm not fooled. all that excitement in the primaries was b/c they were electing a nominee. by november they'll be thinking of a president of the US and it wont be black, unfortunately. america is a white country, make no mistake america is white

so while u may say McCain ha bush as a liability, Obama has his skin color as a burden. serious one. however miracles can happen.

my excitement over this election was more about hillary clinton's political demise than election of a kenyan as america's president. cool
