Workch:you know this a lie as from lafia to makurdi is a four lane dual carriage way. When las did you visit seems you haven't played that route for over 3 years now 1 Like |

Airpeace comes to mkd on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays with a connecting flight to Lagos and Abuja. There is a dual carriage way from north bank area of the Benue river to keffi. Benue plays host to two federal universities,NAF base,NASME, Nigerian airforce tactical command hqtrs,72 div,Special force battalion,Navy and other military installations. While flyover might not be a measure of development the capital city is littered with roundabouts to ease vehicular movement as most of the major roads are tree lined with pavements and mostly dualised. The city might not be filled with modern and expensive architectures but they have serene neighbourhoods with basic amenities. The nightlife in the capital is top notch as movement is not restricted for any reason as crime is on low. 5 Likes |

Areacleo:seems you are misunderstanding the position of the law Vis-a-vis the court order,in the eyes of the law the number of assembly members is less than 7 because the seat of the remaining 27 remains vacant till proven by a competent jurisdiction to be otherwise. It is safe to say that the 5 assembly members present met the constitutional 2/3 requirements so there is no question of illegality. |

Why are they not sweeping the roads in awka? Cities like makurdi, lafia,Jos etc sweep their roads and they also plant trees and maintain lawns, what is the job of awka south local government administrators ? 5 Likes |

SanThiago:it is a 3hours drive and the road is smooth. You can get a direct flight on Monday morning anyway |

For any reason don't drop in Enugu as the road from makurdi to enugu is a death trap. Fly to abuja and take a bus to makurdi the road is very good Nd new. alternatively you can book a flight to makurdi direct but they still have to stop in abuja before connecting to enugu |

I can see some funny comments but as someone who understands the economic significance of burukutu I can say that their agitation is not out of place. What is our national grain reserve capacity?why is the government not engaging in extension works to improve grain yield?the economic power of these women is about to be diminished and them thrown into abject poverty if the government fails to act appropriately by widening the scope of agric policy formulation, implementation and sustainability. |

LeoDeKing:I was at tor donga military post today and questioned the locals first hand I saw them moving their properties. I was also briefed by the military personnel and volunteer guards that went there on a responsive call. I am on ground in that axis due to the nature of my job and not making up stories |

This dastardly act was carried out by gang of criminal shitile bandits who are remnant of terwase agwaza aka gana militia gang. They impose taxes in villagers before they can farm and this particular village was taxes 2million which they couldn't raise The Benue government must call a spade by it name and stamp out this gang of bandits terrorizing the whole of sankera district. |

Niklaus398:my brother this is more deeper than you think. Most Benue voters are rural dwellers and they voted for Thier messiah rev fr alia, especially the tiv speaking region. Also the tiv speaking region of Benue have always indentified with the core north politically as there is always the good to be in the good book of the master up north |

Ricardosmechito:most fulanis are not serious Muslims especially the ones in the bush, they are mostly pagans and the Muslims among them hardly pray 5times everyday. They drink alcohol, they don't dress like most Muslims especially their women etc. Many will say but they are the chief imams,Even emirs and brought Islam to hausaland, yes they did but they are hardly fanatics. My grandmum goes to the Anglican church and she still pray the Islam prayer at home. |

nsiba:Hausa should take the 3rd spots except we want to classify all the tribes in northern Nigeria as hausa which can be misleading. Hausa is now more of a language than a people as many tribes in the north with no Hausa descent use it as Lingua. Mostly found in the north west the Hausa should be around 20million in number. the north east and north central should have the highest number of tribal groups in Nigeria and they are not Hausa but use it as a lingua |
![]() |
It is erroneous to think the Hausa are the most populated in Nigeria except you classify all the Nupe, jukun, chamba, gbagyi,Fulani, kanuri, eggon and other hundreds of tribes in the north as hausa |

In the olden time everyman had a defence weapon be it cutlass, bow and arrow or Dane guns to protect their family and clans from invaders and also for hunting to feed their families. It is imperative that the modern society allow bearing of modern day weapon of defence by all so as to deter invaders and plunderers. America understood this and most natives have access to firearm to protect their land and families. Nigeria being a huge ungoverned space with skeletal security outfit which in all is largely corrupt, inefficient, deficient In capacity and always up for highest bidder,it is detrimental as it is suicidal to entrust ones security to above described national security outfit. With legalisation of firearms Violent crime will reduce to minimum as there will be almost instant retribution if there is any breach, so for self preservation purpose it will daunting and largely suicidal to be the aggressor. 1 Like 1 Share |

jornwhite:I will agree with you that he has visited supposed low people in distress in the past ,but that fact won't invalidates glaring insensitive nature of the political ruling class when the poor are at the receiving end, most of the visit is for optics and little or nothing is done to ameliorate the suffering their ineptitude have caused the common man. |

I was surprised when people were pouring invectives on the police CSP that went to enforce a supreme court order in magodo. People were shouting a whole governor was disrespected as if he is above the law,we are quick to accept strong men instead of strong institutions. The police were only there to protect the baillif and plaintiff, the Highest symbol of equity and justice have addressed a wrong done to it citizens but because strong men have been affected By the judgement some of you want justice to be denied. What many of the governor's and magodo resident sympathisers don't know is that if the judgement affect just the poor the governor won't even acknowledge them with his presence. In this case the rule of law should Prevail and justice should be served irrespective of the parties involved as we are all equal before the law. 13 Likes 2 Shares |
