Travel / Whats The Deal With Libya? by debra: 3:32pm On Apr 26, 2010
My elder brother was sent to Europe to study over 15 years ago, once his visa expired he moved to Libya against the wish of my parents. Since moving to Libya he barely calls or writes to us. He says he has no email there and phone calls are expensive. My parents and us siblings have sent money to him on several occasions because he claims he is ready to return home. But reasons always come up why he couldn't make it. We are not crazy wealth but my family is comfortable in Nigeria. My father passed a few years back and we all hoped that will make him decide to come back home, at least to claim his inheritance as the first child and son. He said he needed money for the trip, we all sent over $5000. He never showed up. We were hurt and disappointed to say the least. Now my question is does anyone know how life in Libya is for Nigerians. My brother claims there is no Nigerian embassy in Libya for him to renew his passport, is that true. I need your advice and help. Thanks.

Hey guys, i need help. My kids ages 3 yrs and 20 months will be visiting Nigeria soon from the states. What specific meds would you recommend. My doc here prescribed malarone, but i hear it has some pretty bad side effects. I don't want to spend my vacation dealing with side effects. We already took the yellow fever vaccine. Now i am stomped on what antimalaria meds to take. Help
Religion / Women Should Remain Silent by debra: 1:14am On May 19, 2009
The book of Corinthians 14:34-35, NIV version says, "Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission as the law says. If they want to inquire about something they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church." As a woman i have being very conflicted about this scripture, I would like to get everyones take on it. Why is it that as Christians some chose to ignore this part of the bible, or give it a different interpretation. Lets hear with evidence what u have to say.

Family / Can Men Be Trusted? by debra: 2:36am On Sep 02, 2006
I just came from my honeymoon a week ago only to find out that my husband cheated on me with his baby mama a month before our wedding, how i found out is a long story that i would rather not get into. I called him at work and asked if it was true, he immediately rushed home and vehemently denied it. So the next day i called his baby mama, and she told me exactly how he came on to her, saying he wants to work thing out with her, and that i was out of the pic, so she slept with him. That evening when he came home i told him that his baby mama confirmed my story and was comming by any minute now to back up her story (to rattle him a bit), after much argument he finally said he did do it, when i asked him why, first he said whenever he goes to see his child she always tries to seduce him, and also because i was a bit difficult to live with, then i asked him why did you marry me if i am so difficult to live with ( we lived together for about a year after with got engaged). He says it is because he loves me, but he regrets cheating on me and will never hurt me by doing it again. I am very hurt by what he did but in a strange way i still love him. I take my marital vows very seriously, but i fear that it will happen again b/c he is always gonna be connected to his baby mama b/c of his kid. I have a few questions for the men out there why will a man claim to love a woman and still cheat on her? Are men capable of love? Do all men cheat? is it true that "once a cheat always a cheat"? Finally if you were in my shoes what will you do next.
