Dear God of all, I come to you today lifting up my boss, doc, CEO, Mercy Seaphrora Uwakwe to you. I pray that you will develop in her all of the skills and qualities needed to lead our work team well.( #mercywave). I pray that she will have the leadership skills of Moses, the bravery and vision of David, the wisdom of Solomon, the patience of Job and the perseverance of Paul. I pray that she will ask for and receive good advice as it says in Proverbs: “A wise man listens to advice.” (Proverbs 12:15 NIV) and “Many advisors make victory sure.” (Proverbs 11:14 NIV) Grant my HRM a good understanding of the problems or issues at her work place as a DOC. Give them a good view of the overall picture and a solution to the diseased. May my boss value the hard work and efforts of the work team. Help her see the strengths of each worker and help them to encourage the development of new skills in areas where each worker may need help. Grant a workplace characterized by respect and cooperation. Strengthen and help my boss during times of stress. Grant her a good life balance in her work, family and faith. Osteoarthritis—the most common form of arthritis—also called the Degenerative Joint Disease, caused by continuous degeneration of the cartilage surrounding the articular surfaces of bones. Symptoms: Pain in the affected joint, joint stiffness especially after a period of inactivity, bone spurs, tenderness and inflammation or swelling. Risk factors: Old age, obesity, previous joint injury, bone/tissue deformities caused by genetic issues, excessive stress on a joint. Occupational conditions at times. Treatment: Physical activities (improve joint flexibility and straighten muscles), NSAIDs ( either as drugs or gels), surgical procedures in severe cases, joint replacement in more severe cases. Prevention: Frequent exercise and body weight management. She is not only our Doc, princess,HRM she is a teacher. The corona virus pandemic is still real and dangerous so we need maximum protection which means face masks are still very important. Home made face masks aren't expensive. First of all, face masks should— a) Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face be secured with ties or ear loops b) Include multiple layers of fabric c) Allow for breathing without restriction How to make a sewn Cloth face mask Materials Two 10”x6” rectangles of cotton fabric Two 6” pieces of elastic (or rubber bands, string, cloth strips, or hair ties) Needle and thread (or bobby pin) Scissors Sewing machine DIRECTIONS 1. Cut out two 10-by-6-inch rectangles of cotton fabric. Use tightly woven cotton, such as quilting fabric or cotton sheets. T-shirt fabric will work in a pinch. Stack the two rectangles; you will sew the mask as if it was a single piece of fabric. 2. Fold over the long sides ¼ inch and hem. Then fold the double layer of fabric over ½ inch along the short sides and stitch down. 3. Run a 6-inch length of 1/8-inch wide elastic through the wider hem on each side of the mask. These will be the ear loops. Use a large needle or a bobby pin to thread it through. Tie the ends tight. Don’t have elastic? Use hair ties or elastic head bands. If you only have string, you can make the ties longer and tie the mask behind your head. Two six inch pieces of elastic or string are threaded through the open one-half inch hems created on the left and right side of the rectangle. Then, the two ends of the elastic or string are tied together into a knot. 4. Gently pull on the elastic so that the knots are tucked inside the hem. Gather the sides of the mask on the elastic and adjust so the mask fits your face. Then securely stitch the elastic in place to keep it from slipping. 1 Like 2 Shares
