From what I've heard, it's not the same as the movie. It follows different sets of characters but set in the same world...

Personally I can't remember anything about the Terminator movies. I didn't like them back then and I have no interest in rewatching them...

But I will watch a summary and then watch this anime

I'll see just ep1.. if it feels different from the movie, it would be on my must see list ..

It seems to be mostly historically accurate and follows the events leading up to the French Revolution.

I won't Google much on the French revolution until I finish the show to avoid spoilers

The tyrant (2024) is a solid 7.5/10 for me.
South Korea are really killing it when it comes to thriller and fight series.
I even dare say they have the best fight scenes in the entertainment world currently.

I love how well they tell their stories in a complex manner that you then you begin to understand what's happening through utmost concentration.
you get to episode 3 and then suddenly you see a scene that makes you understand a scene in episode 1.
They have the most complex storylines and if you don't pay attention, it's over for you.

The tyrant is one of their complex series, total thrill and action nonstop.
