It’s was an interactive session for our mothers today at the Omu palace, as Omu Josephine host the entire women in ibusa today to discuss all the issues concerning the women in the community.

The Omu called the community women within a short notice and to her greatest surprise the whole palace was filled to the brim, the Umuadas/Diokpas re-assured her that she is still the head of the Omu institution which the entire women in the community will continue to be answerable to her, as a custodian of the women institution in ibusa at large.

It was a question and answer session when a lady stood up to put a direct question to the Omu in terms of the market that how long will it take her to take charge of the office totally that one of her primary duties, Omu Ibusa assured the women that in no distance time, everything about the market will be sorted out.

Another woman stood up to throw the question of Ikpunnu to the Omu how they have been badly treated and they all in accordance came to agreement and the office will roll out her list in Favour of the whole women in ibusa and it’s community at large .

The Omu further thank The Whole women in the community for quick response. The women expressed gratitude to Omu for having their interest at heart.

Omu closed the meeting with a prayer session for all sons and daughters of Ibusa both at home and in Diaspora.

Massive turnout today in the residence of Eze Iwu Benson Ashibogwu

It was a massive turn out today in umuodafe as our ever loving and caring brother, father and philanthropist chief Barrister chijindu Fred Ajidua(Oji uno emeogo 1 of ibusa ) the babamogbofin1 of Ibadanland led the entire Ibusa to the house opening of Eze Iwu Benson Ashibogwu residence in Umuodafe.

The commissioning attracted dignitaries and traditional leaders also the ozigbo ozigbo chairman of Oshimili North local government Hon. Innocent Esewezie, chief Dr Austin Izagbo(the ide Ibusa) chief Celestine Okafor(The Ikwelle of Ibusa) Her Royal Highness Josephine ISIOMA Nwannabuogwu (Omu Ibusa) with the company of Odafe Sisters Worldwide and other notable dignitaries.

Onwa Oyoko gave and opening speech at the event and preach more about helping hands that whenever he wakes up and didn’t see anyone to render what God has assigned to him on earth to do which is arms giving that it’s like he is sick and the entire community attested to the fact that his philanthropic gestures has lasted the test of time. He further preached about peace in Umuodafe and the entire Ibusa community and has promised to do more within his capacity and strength which God almighty has bestowed to him. In conclusion, he declared two other foundations laying in Umuodafe Isi Uzo and Umuwagwu community this Friday . By Gods grace the families will be unveiled in couple of weeks when the houses will be commissioned.

Before the commissioning, Onwa invited the ever loving, caring and listening chairman on stage our Ozigbo Ozigbo chairman Oshimili North local government numero Uno Honourable Innocent Esewezie who responded to Onwa Oyoko’s call to specially grace the event, Hon Innocent Esewezie got the attention of the whole community with his heart melting speech which got the whole community with a clapping ovation. He further said “Onwa the trust and believe you have in me I am ready and willing to partner and identify myself with whosoever is willing to impact lives through charity within the ibusa at large” and also emphasized on peace in the community.

I know most will be surprised at the new title “Oji uno eme Ogo” that was actually giving to Onwa oyoko today by the Odafe Sisters Worldwide.

After the commissioning, Ezi Iwu Benson and the step mother gave their vote of thanks to Onwa and his whole entourage who made this day possible and further promised the whole community that next Iwu festival by Gods grace he will give them the best they have never seen before with smile and tears of Joy rolling down from his eyes. Eze Iwu mum was full of tears of joy as she showered Onwa with prayers of goodwill.

As the custom and tradition demands Oganlanya Ede Onowu Zikky Nwabuwa akwala Ego celebrates the new yam festival in his country home Ibusa as usual not alone but with the entire kids in the community.

He further prayed for the entire community and called on all the Otu’s in Ibusa before declaring the new yam festival open and prayed for fruitful harvesting season.

The kids were not left out after declaring the new yam festival open, they went ahead and chant his name and also prayed for the Onowu in their own various capacity.

It was all joy on Saturday 20th August 2022 as the entire women and mothers in the community converge for this year's annual August Congress at the umuodafe amusement park(Rt hon Ndudi Elumelu Hall) to discuss on how to further add their quota to the development within the community.

It’s was another fruitful August Congress as the IWCDU women leaders invited the head of the Omu institution HRH Omu Josephine Nwannabuogwu to a meet and greet session.

HRH Omu Josephine Isioma Nwannabuogwu thanked and commended the women leaders for their exceptional leadership prowess, also for the job well done so far in coordinating and uniting the women. Omu Ibusa also thanked the members for finding the time to converge at home for this year's congress, that it can only happen because of their love for Ibusa. Omu Ibusa encouraged all Members of IWCDU to continue their love for Ibusa as she promised henceforth to work hand in hand with the Ibusa women community development(IWCDU) in promoting the community as it concerns the girl child .

And further promised to work with the entire community when it comes to protecting the right of the women.

Finally the IWCDU women threw their weight behind the institution giving the Omu Ibusa the assurance that all her advice will be put to play for the development of Ibusa community.

The Federation of Anioma Youth Elite council paid a courtesy visit to Her Royal Highness Obi Josephine Isioma NWANNABOGWU the Omu of IBUSA in Ibusa, the courtesy visit was lead by Onowu Francis Oranyeli and his entourage Omu Juliet ikechukwu,Emeka Obanye,Ekene Okuwuose, Sadiq Abdul Were in attandance to discuss the well being of the Anioma students across the federation at large since her institution plays a vital role in the realm of women and the society.

HRH Omu Josephine further encourage the Anioma students both far and near the need to be their brothers keeper in Nigeria and those who are in diaspora in other to promote the anioma tradition and social morals anywhere they find themselves and mingle with each other because they share common ethnic and traditional belief which she believes will promote the anioma tradition outside the anioma jurisdiction.

The leader of the team Onowu Francis Oranyeli thanked the Omu on behalf of the entire body for the grand reception giving to them despite her busy schedules, that they never expected the grand welcoming from her and the entire staff in council within the short notice.

Collectively the exco’s and the members of the youth council finds Omu Josephine Isioma NWANNABOGWU worthy of a prestigious award and she was bestowed with certificate of noble price for excellent as the “VANGUARD OF SOCIETAL DEVELOPMENT IN DELTA STATE” which is in accordance to their belief as body that HRH Obi Josephine Isioma Nwannabuogwu has contributed to societal building through her services and contributions in various capacities using her Home of Mercy Foundation, a charity organizations that has chartered a way for poverty alleviation and a special care for women and children. Even till this moment of honour, her administrative prudence, policy implementation, love for youths, her experimental knowledge and modest inputs are too paramount to be discarded and unnoticed.

HRH Obi Josephine Nwannabogu thanked the team for finding her worthy for the recognition, and later took them round the palace for sight seeing and further enlighten them more about the Omu institution, and prayed for them that God grant them all journey mercies.

It’s was a massive turn out in asaba as Peter obi support group(posg) Delta State Chapter organizes it’s first state Exco and LGA meeting ahead of the inauguration with all the 25 LGA’s state executives in attendance.

The inauguration date will be communicated to the general public as the state Labour Party chairman chief Tony Ezeagwu will be in attendance and other Labour party stakeholders in the state and the party flag bearer of various political positions, he also gave the ObiDatti followers his words on security issues that everything will be taking care of before the inauguration date.

During the state exco meeting, ObiDatti followers gave reasons why the 1 million match for ObiDatti in the state capital should be beyond 1 million as the structure on its own is beyond our expectation, if we could get over 600-700 participants for PVC awareness in our local communities for a programme championed by 100-150 ObiDatti loyalist, meaning we can do more than 1 million march with our political foot soldiers on ground

The ObiDatti supporters further emphasized on the need to keep sensitizing our aged parents who reside in the rural areas to know what the party logo looks like with significant symbol of a Father,Mother, and a child.

Finally we calling and appealing to all concerned citizen of the federal republic craving for good governance to join us as we move the nation forward by getting our PVC ready to carry out our civil duties by voting for good governance and competency come 2023 general election.
