Hi all,

Please I need you all to tutor me on gold, Getaway etc. I have heard these names mentioned but I must confess I am a novice in these areas. I don't even know what they mean. Are gold, silver, bronze and getaway the same? How does one invest in them? How do they operate?

I, really, will appreciate your contributions.

E-gold means electronic gold, and it is a form of payment for goods and services online. Check www.megabilonline.com for more information about e-currency.

Be careful not to fall into the hands of scammers claiming what they are not, Forget about Getaway!!!!

E-gold discussions are also not allowed on this forum so don't bother enquiring again.

pipsguru:

Hey guys, the books modupe is trying to hawk are available for free download on various sites and forums. I am a Forex trader and have an extensive library of Forex Trading Books and programs.

I do not know the rules yet on this forum, but if it is allowed, I will upload these books and much more for absolutely free download.

So guys let me know the rules on posting download links, and let get cracking.

More pips to you all!
I dont think that you trade fixed odds like Modupe does. Not just any e-book can be used.

there's a website i'm putting up by nextweek. Itz all about fixed odss trading. You can check it out then- www.megabilonline.com.

there'll be an ebook for sale. it contains all you need to know about fixed odds trading and trade reports on accounts that i traded personally so you can know what bets to place because some bets are just death traps.

sunboy:

@Modupe : where do you stay in Lagos i really want to learn about that betsonmarket, i recently searched the net and found it, read little about it but still need more tutorial.
When you check the website then, you can see what fixed odds is all about. That is how i make my cash and though it is not as outrageous as forex, it is a sure way to earn more and the risk is minimal.
chris_ibu:

Do we have any successful trader on www.betonmarkets.com in the house.

Please share some tips with us.

I've been trading for about four months now and it has been interesting. Some small losses here and there but i was able to rake in over 100% within two months. You just have to be careful when placing bets-some are death traps!!!

Education / Re: NIIT Scholarship by DesmondO1: 10:53pm On Jul 07, 2008
Hmmm! Don't go for the test except your're ready for the kind of experience i had.

I'm presently studying at NIIT-Java Programming and it has been terrible from day one. The scholarship is a waiver off what you're meant to pay so you would actually be paying!

What irritates me the most is that most NIIT branches are run like businesses. They're more interested in the fees than in giving you what you came for. I remember when i went for their presentation after i got the scholarship. After the presentation, i had some questions to ask one of their counsellors and the lady didn't want to answer till i paid the 5k acceptance fee.

More annoying is the fact that i've had about 6 faculties(or lecturers) since i started the course and presently the guy that teaches it sucks! I've been reading the books and that was what made me score 93% in my first module exams.

If you want to go to NIIT.then be prepared. They would give excuses for their many mistakes but when time to pay your installmental fees come, your dead father's story(as the case may be) would not even make them budge.

It's a good place since they're recognised by leaders in the IT industry-Microsoft,Oracle etc but make sure you don't expect much.

Any way i am almost done with the course and i can say it was a long boring nine(9) months studying Java Programming.Imagine, they even told us six(6) months when we started.

Brothers, no let o-show-free catch you. Be on the look out!

Education / Re: Fate of a Graduate with 3rd Class in Nigeria by DesmondO1: 9:01pm On Jul 02, 2008
Guy,stop wailing. I'm an undergraduate and i run a business online that pumps in over a hundred grand monthly so what are you saying.
See for knowledge.there are many things you can do without a degree in naija. Go ask Dangote whether e get degree before e begin get sense.
Search online, look and think for a need you can meet and then satisfy that need. there are millions of people around the world that need services to be rendered to them.
Think, think and think. You can be a billionaire in the next five years if you think.
Afterall Carlos Slim ( the richest man in Mexico) cant even use a computer! He takes most of his investment records in a ledger.
You can go for a PGD if you too like book. but if you can make your cash in Naija through business, even University of Toronto would give you a certificate when you're ready to get one. Ask Babangida-e go tell you how e take do am.

Janami,a pat on the back for you.

"Naijarians" like long story. Wetin don happen don happen. If you carry beef full belle for the school,na you know. Only tin be say,the school pumps tens of millions if not hundreds each year and they're doing great at helping those that JAMB has red-carded to get an education.

So fellow nairalanders, there's nothing to be said. Find something doing and stop criticizing what other people do with their own business. Abi una get shares for the school.

CU students-get the education you need and leave. All i'll say is that life aint what they portray over there.

Education / Re: Expulsion Scandal Rocks Covenant University: 120 Students Expelled by DesmondO1: 12:12pm On Jul 01, 2008
Why are Nigerians so hypocritical? Instead of sueing UBA and co for unnecessary withdrawals from our accounts we accuse an innnocent institution and itz authority for expelling the students.

The gig is that they know the rules and regulations that govern the school and like the bible says,he that breaks the hedge, the serpent will bite. If Jesus was around,he would have also whipped them cos i cant imagine-if they had lectures, will they go to the lecture room and stare at the lectures?obviously NO!

They should get on with life. The school is a private school not a government school where your opinions matter. So if anyone aint ok with it,then go start your own.
