To think this man was very active on twitter before he was elected. He built a strong base and criticised the then government. How times change. 1 Like |

shervydman: Bros no need to talk too much or make comparisons...Just sacrifice little time and pay that site a visit. It is not theory, actually as we speak, the adjoining lands in the area are suffering from fllooding. By the time they are done..most of the houses around will have to evacuate...its simple logic, when u fill a parcel of land and increase its level..what happens to the surrounding areas ![]() 1 Like |

Am not a regular poster here but i have always seen the wide negative perception of Obasanjo...Well i was like that..Long ago, especially when Obasanjo was the president. I hated him with passion. I saw everything wrong with the system and i attributed every failure to Obasanjo. Around that period i had a conversation with elderly man, close to the government of Obasanjo at that time. He told me i dont know much, Obasanjo is ruthless, inteligent hard-worker. He attends to every detail of his work till 2.am everyday and that ofcourse he is far from perfect and full of drama but we only have few people like him around. Ofcourse i did not agree with the elderly man, because i didnt see any reason to. Fast forward to years after, i relocated to Abuja for work and looking around and seeing things, i started asking questions. who did this, who did that...It was Obasanjo's era. I started having a re-think when i reflected and remembered that at a time in this country, as you are coming out of the University, if you dont find yourself in the multi-national companies, you will be relegated into the bank. Companies where springing up and employment was on the rise. The pension fund capitalization today is at par with that of the banking sector and wil soon be bigger. Check across all sectors Private and Public sectors, you will see his hand there. His Ministers where ontop of their games. Like i said, He is far from perfect, so manny insensitive millitary style ruling and unguided utterances but i believe he is a strong, well exposed and respected stateman. I can hear some people saying they are all thesame. It is true, but youths like us will definitely need people like him to seize power. And if you ask me? Are the youths actually ready?. I cant really say yes. Am not asking for you to like him or otherwise, but we can turn them to purns in our own hands for the good of the youths and the country. 1 Like |

@ OP if your story is true...You have not met God. Am not talking about your training, certificate, prayer or bible knowledge. Am talking of the supernatural experience and only you can testify. God can be only a fantasy to those who have just theoretical or knowledge of God. Some of us have experiential Knowledge of him and there is no denying He is real. |

princemillla: Weldone bro, thumbs up....some of us are re-positioning ourselves to see how we can profit massively from this...Some other ones are either criticizing or onlookers. New wealth and millionaires will emerge from this step while those who only see negative will pay the price. |

Good to hear. But there at times its more difficult, considering the choice of university, the course, qualification and pressure in the University. Based on that, it maybe different for others and thats where i can help. |

Super1Star: I had a discussion with a prominent Legal practitioner (SAN) yesterday and was told that is a tip of the rot in the Judicial system, the SANs of their status ensure they take cases to certain Judges that they can bribe to get judgement. I was told he has been doing it like many others but his cup is full this time. He was actually reported to the Efcc by one of the parties to case he is handling and they have massive evidence 5 Likes |

olapluto: I agree with you sir...Another thing note worthy is that the road is a Trunk A road not an inter-land or trunk C road where the army can easily find a short link and get back on track. If you are a frequent traveler in Northern axis, this wont be new to you. A friend has been held in traffic for 2 hours in Kogi, where people spread mat on the express and where praying on a Friday afternoon. I mean, they stopped all vehicles and dared anyone to move close. I felt bad that they where insensitive to long distance travelers. 7 Likes |

I am seriously trying had to understand why people think "Buhari" is focusing only on corruption. They say all he does is fight only corruption. It seem to people as if that is the only thing happening. The so called corruption is only being undertaken by one or two effective government Agency (EFCC and ICPC) but thats what easily makes the headlines and appeals to the common man. For crying out loud, the country is broke, the economy, power, employment etc are bad and they would take time to fix, no tangible news would come until there is physical manifestation of implemented 2016 budget. Even when things where okay, the economy is usually slow prior to implementation of budgets. I think middle of 2016 would be a more appropriate time to judge this government, By then, every hand and Ministries should have something to do and their hand writing on direction would be clearly written on the wall. 1 Like |

Reading comments here most of the time gets me appalled and deeply concerned for us all. The comments are always full of hate induced by tribalism and religious disparity. I mean how did it get this bad?. i grew up in different states in the south-west and most of my friends are Igbo's, and they speak Yoruba with a dialect better than mine. It never occurred to me me that we are different in anyway since we all exercise thesame rights. Later when i went up North, specifically in Kontagora, I met Igbo people who could speak deep and Native Hausa, as well as the core Igbo, they where all over the place doing their businesses and interacting as if they are the same. That was the first time i appreciated an entity called Nigeria. My Host, who was a registrar in federal college of education Kontagora barely has anything to show that he is from a remote village in Ijesha land because he transformed into a full blown Hausa man. Ofcourse, Nigeria has about 371 tribes. This implies that we have so many people with diverse culture, religious beliefs and socio-political make up, and it is not expected that we all move along easily, but the truth is that escalating our differences and playing down what is common to us will never make a man talkless of region or Nation. This is because even two blood brothers are not exactly thesame and it is only when they align their common interest that they can achieve a collective feat. For those that think Nigeria is a "zoo", can you think deeply and honestly look around say, that somehow, your life is just tied within your origin's territory?. You have no business travelling to another region, you schooled only in your village, you don't eat delicacies from another ethnic group; you have no friend, boss, mentor, e.t.c from a different ethnicity that you relate freely with?. If your answer in no, it means you have never taken time to travel around and notice that where ever you go, that are different people of different ethnic origins living freely and established themselves outside where they originated from. Clamoring for a separate Nation, does that solve the underlying problems?. Will the new nation be immediately void of Cultism, corruption, ritual killing, robbery attacks, leadership problems etc. Is there a guarantee that it would not be another failed state, with different parties fighting to control power and resources?. If you support the idea you must also think of the likely consequences. We already have a lot of challenges in the country, let us not fan the fire of destruction. 5 Likes |

Merit list is always a merit list anywhere..If there is a clear merit cut off score and your friend meets the cut off, then she should go to the department to find out why she is not listed. Am sure they would do the needful...But if she does not qualify on merit, the supplementary list is usually based on catchment and who you know. She should ensure she has exploited all her options before loosing hope. bastien: 2 Likes |
