I can categorically tell you that som folks have resumed. Both in Lag&Ph-bout 30-40. Resumption was for most, September/October. Now my opinion: It is then POSSIBLE that those already in the recruitment process who their status is NOT unsuccessfull after Dec'13 endin, will be contacted. Don't hope for anything in this yr from Shell Nigeria anymo' till next yr[Feb/Mar]- Fact. And all this is still not puttin into perspective the current widely published issues between IOCs & FGN. Enjoy the festive period, cheers.

@David470- I see you 'everywhere' lols. Nice to know you're still observing NYSC and you're this pro-active in your job search. Heads up.
Those are competency based questions/situational judgement questions you saw on the recruitment portal, and am pretty sure you all understand the aim. Now imagine 300 applicants submitting apps, as a recruiter, you'll most likely end up seeing repetitions in idea, thoughts & answers. Your success in this type of applications, mind you, same applies to oral interviews, would be your ability to come out different/unique in your answers & thought process. To the dismay of most recruiters, this is rarely the case, every applicant sounding/echoing off the last like some bot. Advice- do extensive research before answering such questions, & best you run your answers/thoughts via multiple opinions- &if you can get an experienced recruiter/senior official in the company you're applying to review your answers or discuss the goals & emphasized priorities/values of the coy, you've struck gold. Success in your search!

I think this is all one big circus. Not much will be achieved with the Minister of Aviation still in office while all this inquisition is on-going. My expectation was that she'll be suspended during the course of this investigation. She's still in office/power! Why do you think the DG is tongue-tied? He's caught between two elephants & his logical self preservation act is to keep pact or protect his boss. Considering he is familiar with one devil than the other (the committee panel being the unknown devil). For as long as he feels she can offer him some form of cover for his allegiance & non-indictment of her in all this proceedings, we'll hear nothing of what really happened.
Notwithstanding, there's enough material for charges & legal proceedings against most parties in this charade. But again, it is Nigeria right?

Was an interview conducted? What account are you to pay into? What is the visa application process you've been briefed with? Have you being told the particular type of visa for your employment? You can always call the US visa embassy, Nigeria to confirm the existence of such a company, check for the contact no. on the USA embassy site.
